The present study was conducted to investigate the relationship of body indices and playing ability of football players. Thirty males football player between the age group of 18-25 were selected through purposive random sampling technique from Lovely Professional University and Khalsa College Jalandhar. Training program was not given subjects. Body Indices (foot length, foot breadth, calf length, thigh length, max. thigh circumference, calf circumference, leg length) were measured by Steal Tap and Anthropometric rod. To find out the relation between body indices and playing ability (passing, dribbling, shooting) of football players, statistical technique correlation was applied. The result of the investigation showed significant improvement in one variable which was tested on 0.05 level of confidence.

In this paper, the effects on mixed convection flow past a semi-infinite vertical porous plate have been studied mathematically and numerically when the plate temperature oscillates about a non zero mean under the effect of transverse magnetic field. Only out of phase component of unsteady part of the temperature is shown graphically. The results show that these is always a phase lead in the rate of heat transfer at small values of w and the mean temperature is superimposed by shear wave type solution at large values of w.

The purpose of the study was to examine the 'Role efficiency' among primary school teachers. The sample included 124 primary school teachers selected by the random sampling technique. Schools were drawn from 4 zones i.e. East, West, South and North from each zone Government and private schools of Bhopal City. The tools were used for the present study Role efficiency scale of Udai pareek. t-test was applied to determine the significance of difference between Government age below 40 and above 40 years. Major finding of the study were- (1) The private school teachers are slightly better in role efficiency than government school teachers, (2) Untrained teachers are little better in role efficiency than trained teachers, (3) Below 40 teachers are slightly better in role efficiency than above 40 teachers.
