This study looks at investor views and decision-making processes around initial public offerings (IPOs). Using a combination of quantitative and qualitative data, we investigate risk perceptions, firm reputation, financial performance, market conditions, information transparency, and regulatory effects. A total of 55 respondents from Coimbatore City were analyzed. The results show a largely youthful, male student population with a moderate risk tolerance and a propensity for growth prospects. The financial success of the company emerged as a significant factor in investment decisions. Social media and local business forums were the key sources of IPO-related information. Despite considerable satisfaction with post-investment communication, a sizable proportion of respondents had never invested in an IPO, emphasizing the need for market development and educational measures. Suggestions include specialized teaching efforts, open communication techniques, and taking investor preferences into account when constructing an IPO. Overall, this study provides valuable information for companies, financial intermediaries, and governments navigating the IPO landscape.

The Himalayan cherry tree, or Padmak (Prunus cerasoides D. Don), is an herbal drug with important ethno-botanical and therapeutic properties. Its range of distribution is limited to the sub-montane and montane Himalaya, which stretches from North Central India's Himachal Pradesh to Sikkim, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, West China and Thailand. It is widely distributed in Uttarakhand state's temperate Garhwal Hills. Plants have a variety of chemical compounds that give them therapeutic qualities. This is probably the reason that different regions of the world have utilized plants in traditional medicine. Bark of Prunus cerasoides may be utilized to mend broken bones. The bark is brownish-grey, smooth, and peels off in thin, gleaming horizontal stripes, revealing a copper-colored surface beneath. The kernel can be used to treat kidney stones and bladder gravel. The smaller branches are crushed and soaked in water before being ingested internally to prevent abortion. Its stem has refrigerant and antipyretic qualities and can be used to treat leukaemia, leprosy and vomiting. Among its many benefits are diuretic, depurative, carminative, expectorant, analgesic, febrifuge, and tonic properties.

This paper analyzes Carol Shields' The Stone Diaries represents about Ageing. The study sparks an attempt to investigate aging with the support of gender, as aging is necessarily more aggressive for women than for males, in an effort to expose society's ageism attitudes toward its Patriarch. This study reveals how the elderly are portrayed as nothing more than an aged body that is similarly genderless. The study also gazes at Daisy, the protagonist who is older and who has become lost in the story even though the book focuses on a story within a story. Her hyper-visible aging body retains herself in continuous submersion. The only characteristics that the world observes her Sagging skin and wrinkling. While her identity and perception is either disregarded or regarded. The Stone Diaries is a fictional narrative pursue Daisy is spinning life, but this paper attempts to inhabit it with her. Whilst a result, Daisy develops her life narrative, her presence generates her story, which finally begins to push Daisy to the foreground to the point that she is completely overwhelmed by it and dies in a Florida nursing home. The story's most overt display of ageism occurs when her death gives relief for her family. Daisy was a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Wife, and Widow over her life, when she died; she was merely an old woman.

-- In this paper, These days, a lot of people forget to turn off electrical items like fans, TVs, motors, etc., which wastes water and electricity. According to data from 74 nations, the average theft rate in 2016 was 783 per 100,000 inhabitants. Between 2012 and 2016, local fire departments responded to 125,000 natural gas or LP-gas leaks annually on average that did not result in residential fires. Between 2016 and 2020, residences accounted for more than 25% of all recorded fires. We can use GSM to safely and securely design and deploy home automation to prevent these issues. In today's quickly changing technology environment, home automation has become a very popular notion. This project explores the field of home automation and uses the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) technology to improve home security and safety. Discuss how to use GSM technology to operate home appliances, security systems, and mobile applications using Android applications on Android phones in this project. We'll also demonstrate how sending a standard SMS can operate the appliances even if we don't have an Android phone. One benefit of employing GSM technology is the ability to operate household appliances from distant locations throughout the globe. By sending commands via SMS and an Android application, this method enables the owner to operate the appliances and get feedback on their condition.

Abstract Due to geographical reasons, the village community of Sundarbans has long maintained its own rural character as it is almost cut off from the contact of urban civilization and culture. Sociologically, the village society of Sundarbans has actually become a self-centred village society. Thus, a self-centred village community is actually the home of folk culture. The virginity of the subject related to culture is preserved as long as each community is cut off from the dazzling spectacle of urban culture or retains its rural character. Binay Ghosh's book - Banglar Loksanskritir Samajtattwa says, "Until the social and geographical separation of people in the age of mechanized transport, the natural form of culture was almost untainted everywhere, even in the self-centred village society of our country." Folk culture may be narrow in scope, but its vitality can never be underestimated. The reason is that the folk culture emerges from the direct human relationship, spiritual connection and deep sincerity of all members of each community group. A few events of the social life, such as family formation through marriage, birth, and death - even considering just these three events, a distinct social history emerges from village life in the Indian Sundarbans. Be it the minimum age of marriage, the idea of birth control, and the method of childbirth or cremation of a person, a different history of backwardness emerges in the marginal public life of the Indian Sundarbans. In the present article, the unique social history centred on birth-death-marriage in the marginal public life of the post-independence Indian Sundarbans is reviewed from a sociological perspective.

The SCP Machine serves the purpose of stamping coking coal into cake, charging it into the oven, and pushing out the resulting coke. The machine's long travel involves 8 double-wheeled bogies, with one serving as the drive wheel and the others as driven wheels. These wheels are interference fitted onto their shafts. The drive wheel sets have shaft extensions with hollow shaft gear boxes attached using shrink disc assemblies. Upon dismantling a broken shaft, it was observed that a cup and cone shape had formed in the middle, and the outer surface was severely rubbed during rotation leading to the failure. The space between the shaft and the DE side bearing showed significant wear and deformation due to rotation. The shaft and DE side bearing were sent to a scientific lab for material analysis. While moving the wheels with some load, the wheel shafts were found to get damaged, prompting an investigation to identify the issues causing the breakage under various conditions. The design and analysis of the wheel and shaft assembly were carried out using CREO & ANSYS Software, complemented by manual calculations in MS Excel.

Diesel engines are the most efficient prime movers. From the point of view of protecting global environment and concerns for long-term energy security, it becomes necessary to develop alternative fuels with properties comparable to petroleum based fuels. Because of the depletion of fossil fuels and the pollution that comes with them, the usage of biodiesel in the automobile industry has expanded significantly in recent years. Biodiesel has a larger beneficial influence on greenhouse gas emissions and has a modest energy content that is generated locally. In this area, you should look into it deeper. Rice bran, rapeseed, pal, canola, and other commonly used cooking oils are the main sources of biodiesels. In the present research, the Pongamia biodiesel, one of the alternative fuels can be the best choice for engine especially when blended with diesel and Tert-butanol as an additive. When compared to clean diesel (D), most previous research suggest that using bio-diesel produces less carbon monoxide, particulate matter, and hydrocarbons. The sole disadvantage is an increase in NOx emissions. It rises when the biodiesel-to-diesel blend ratio rises, and it rises even higher for plain biodiesel (D100).The goal of this study is to minimize NOx emissions by using Pongamia oil biodiesel produced using a transesterification method. The experiments are carried out for both neat diesel (D), biodiesel of Pongamia oil biodiesel and butanol as an additive. It is used to various percentages such as 5% and 10% on biodiesel blends.

The Anti Collision Smart Device for Car Accident Avoidance is a cutting-edge project designed to enhance road safety by integrating various sensors and communication modules with an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The device employs an IR sensor to monitor driver eye blinks, detecting signs of drowsiness and alerting the driver to prevent accidents. Additionally, it incorporates an alcohol sensor for detecting alcohol levels, aiming to curb drunk driving incidents. The MEMS sensor plays a crucial role in accident detection, capturing sudden accelerations or decelerations indicative of a collision. Upon detecting potential dangers, the device utilizes a GPS module to determine the vehicle's location and sends an emergency SMS to predefined contacts, including relatives and ambulance services. Furthermore, real-time data, such as eye blink frequency, alcohol levels, and accident information, is published to the UBIDOTS cloud platform using a GSM module. This allows for remote monitoring and analysis of driving behavior. The system also includes an LCD display and a buzzer for immediate in-car alerts. Altogether, this comprehensive approach integrates multiple safety features, leveraging technology to proactively prevent accidents and enhance overall road safety.
