Abstract
A descriptive study to assess the prevalence of nomophobia and knowledge and effect of using smartphone among college students in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, with a View to develop an information booklet was conducted with the objectives: To assess the prevalence of nomophobia among college students, to assess the knowledge level regarding smartphone use among college students, to assess effect of using smartphones among college students, to find the association between level of Nomophobia among college students with their selected demographic variables, to find the association between level of knowledge regarding smartphone among college students with their selected demographic variables, to find out the correlation between level of nomophobia and effect of using mobile phone among college students, to find out the correlation between level of knowledge and effect of using mobile phone among college students.
