ABSTRACT Nosocomial or healthcare associated infections (HCAI) appear in a patient under medical care in the hospital or other health care facility which was absent at the time of admission. These infections can occur during healthcare delivery for other diseases and even after the discharge of the patients. Additionally, they comprise occupational infections among the medical staff. Invasive devices such as catheters and ventilators employed in modern health care are associated to these infections. Populations at stake are patients in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), burn units, undergoing organ transplant and neonates. In pediatric unit Hospital Acquired Infection presents a different set of challenges than adult general ward Hospital Acquired Infection measures consider being successful. The present A study to assess the effectiveness of informational booklet regarding Hospital Acquired Infection and its prevention among the parents of under five year children in pediatric unit of SMIH Patel Nagar Dehradun AIM: To assess the effectiveness of informational booklet on knowledge regarding Hospital Acquired Infection among patients of under five year children at SMIH, Patel Nagar Dehradun OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY 1. In today's world, wireless communication systems are extremely important for applications related to entertainment, business, commerce, health, and safety. The deployment of fifth generation (5G) wireless technologies is currently taking place all around the world as these systems continue to advance from one generation to the next. Beyond 5G wireless systems, which will represent the sixth generation (6G) of the evolution, are already being discussed in academia and industry. The application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to such wireless networks will be one of the primary and essential elements of 6G systems. According to our present understanding of wireless technologies up to 5G, every component and building block of a wireless system, such as the physical, network, and application layers, will involve one or more of them. Here we try to use several ML algorithms to identify the suitable aspects related to the deployment of 5g and above networks by taking several features and ml algorithms into account. By comparing several algorithms we finally conclude which algorithm is best among several algorithms.

Anterior neck injuries are variable according to their extent, depth and cause. These can be intentional or accidental. The injuries may be penetrating or non-penetrating. Injury to certain anatomic structures (e.g, carotid or subclavian vessels) may be fatal in two thirds of cases. Management of injuries that penetrate the platysma depends upon the anatomic level of injury. A retrospective study of 38 cases of cut throat injury presenting as emergency were managed over a two year period from August 2020 to August 2022. They were analysed for details of age, sex, etiology, nature of injury and surgical procedures for management and their complications. A total of 38 cases of cut throat injuries were reviewed. 32 males, 6 females with age ranging from 16 to 80 years. 18 cases were as a result of road traffic accident, 13 cases were suicidal, 7 cases were attempted homicidal. Sharp knife was used in all cases of attempted suicide and 80% cases of human assault. One patient developed wound dehiscence in post-operative period and one developed change in voice. Cut throat injuries presenting as emergency differ in etiology, extent, and depth. Early intervention in the form of airway management and meticulous repair layer by layer is needed for surgical repair. Complications developed as a result of bad initial management & poor health of patients. Proper initial management & early repair of the cut-throat injury reduces complications and post-operative morbidity. Post-operative follow-up for at least one year is needed to avoid delayed complications and hence morbidity.

The Shadow Lines portrays how division split nations based on religion, causing thousands of individuals to migrate from one side to another. The Shadow Lines represents the confrontation with nationhood, and it is a conflict of an individual's inner psyche. Amitav Ghosh addresses the matter of geographical restraints, deterritorialization, and the problematization of citizenship as a result of the formation of new ethnic and territorial boundaries, as well as the defiance of these frontiers by migratory movements. The year 1947 augmented India's understanding of the notion of a nation. The paper is an attempt to elucidate on the Idea of Nation in The Shadow Lines. Ghosh is contemplating the futility of a country's bifurcation to establish two different nations, one in the east and the other in the west of the subcontinent.
