 Abstract

Nanocapsule is defined as nanovascular system with a core-shell structure consisting of polymer membrane or coating and the target drug or food formulation is added within the cavity. Drug-filled polymeric nanocapsules have showed possible applications in the drug delivery systems. They have attracted great interest, due to the protective coating, which are usually pyrophoric and easily oxidized and delay the release of active ingredients. Nanocapsules have many uses, including promising medical applications for drug delivery, food enhancement, nutraceuticals, and for self-healing materials.

 Abstract

District Almora in the state of Uttarakhand, India boasts of its rich natural heritage. It is a beautiful and scenic hill station situated in the lap of Himalaya. Tourism is an important activity both in the state and district. With the increasing number of tourists in the recent past, a threat to natural environment can be sensed here. However, ecotourism provides a sustainable way of development even for the increasing inflow of tourists. The present study focuses on current status of tourism in district Almora and the nature of tourist activities, for which ecotourism is divided into soft-hard continuum. Some eco-tourist spots have been highlighted which are and can further be developed as potential attractions for eco-tourism purposes. Here, the focus is on natural eco-tourist sites which may or may not overlap with the cultural aspect of the region. The secondary data is collected from the Tourism department of the district Almora which is then further analyzed for the study. It is found out that few ecotourism activities are more prominent than the others, however the potential for development is greater in other activities also.

 Abstract

Education facilitates learning, or the development of knowledge, skills, values, morals, beliefs, habits, and personal growth. Education originated as a way of transmitting cultural information down through the generations. Learner emancipation, critical thinking about supplied information, modern-day skills, empathy, and difficult occupational skills are increasingly included in today's educational aims. Education is vital for both individuals and society. The importance of family education on a student's education cannot be overstated. Family members have a vital part in their children's education. The method in which a youngster is immersed in a learning environment is determined by his or her family history. A child's academic success also influences his familial background. The financial stability and hopeful intentions of parents tend to imply a high level of concern about the impact of parental involvement on a child's academic achievement. The goal of this research is to highlight the relevance of parental participation in children's academic achievement. The findings of this research might help with future developments and the creation of ways to encourage and strengthen parental participation at home and at school.

 Abstract

The definition of health has shifted drastically during the last 150 years. Health is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a condition of physical, mental, and social well-being that does not merely relate to the absence of disease. With a better knowledge of the notion of health, the importance of mental health becomes more evident since it ensures that people, families, and society operate properly. Numerous various treatments, such as biologics, behaviour therapy, and psychodynamics, as well as many paradigms, such as medical, empowerment, behavioural change, educational, and social change, have been proposed in order to improve health. The ability to solve social problems is a contemporary notion that has been shown to be useful in reducing psychiatric illness. The process of problem solving in the actual world is referred to as social problem solving. The term "social" in this definition refers to aspects that influence a person's coping practises in a social setting. The social issue solving model influences the majority of social problem-solving research. Based on this concept, different types of methods (e.g. problem solving therapy) can be used as an intervention modality in depression, suicide, mental and physical health issues, and anxiety.

 Abstract

The study examined the social media use and parent-child relationship: views of college students. An exploratory research design was adopted in this study. The Sample for this study consisted of first year students of selected faculties in Parul University, Vadodara. Data collected were analyzed using Google forms. Results from the study revealed that social media plays a major role in today's world. Childrens spent more time and keep themselves busy on social media using different social networking sites and did not spent more time with parents. This creates rift between parent-child relationship, Childrens Don't like when their parents shout on them because of access to social networking sites and become aggressive when they are get disturbed by someone, Household chores are also become bother for them. Thus it is suggestible to spend more time with family members and live in the moment while less prioritizing socialization, hence you can share your daily experiences with them and also update them with all information you get from social media that way one can keep up with both the worlds and not face any dislike. It should not be completely abandoned as it do proffer needful knowledge and experiences but curb of its usage is completely advisable to todays generation in accordance to the responsibilities led on them under such stressful lifestyle. One must know to manage both the worlds without lacking in any of them as time management and organization works for all.

 Abstract

According to market economy, the increasing worldwide demand for energy, forces a continuous rise on the price of fossil combustibles[1]. In fact it is expected in the near future, that the demand for energy will grow faster than the finding out of new available fossil resources[2]. In this context we have assisted, in the last decades, to a concentrated focus on renewable energy research. Among these renewable energetic sources, the international scientific community has devoted intense efforts to wind, solar photovoltaic and biomass. The solar energy is a clean, freely and abundantly available alternative energy source in nature. Capturing solar energy from nature is an advantageous task for power generation[3]. Conversion of sun energy into another form is a highly complex phenomenon. For this purpose, Photo-Voltaic (PV) panels are used which convert Sun energy to Direct Current (DC) electrical energy. Conventional fixed type PV panels extract maximum energy only during 12 noon to 2 PM which results in less efficiency. Therefore, building of an automatic solar tracking system is the need of an hour. PV panels have to be perpendicular with the sun for maximum energy extraction which can be fulfilled by automatic tracking. This project includes the design and development of a microcontroller-based automatic solar tracking system.

 Abstract

Sexual dysfunction is defined as disturbances in sexual desire and in the psychophysiological changes that characterize the sexual response cycle and cause marked distress and interpersonal difficulty. The problem is often multifactorial, necessitating a multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment approach that addresses biological, psychological, sociocultural, and relational factors. Emphasize should be given on nonpharmacologic and behavioural therapies with the goal of achieving satisfying and pleasurable experiences. The continued quest to understand female sexual function and dysfunction requires more education and research on treatment of underlying medical conditions and use of pharmacologic therapies. Many women experience problems with sexual function at some point, and some have difficulties throughout their lives. Female sexual dysfunction can occur at any stage of life. It can occur only in certain sexual situations or in all sexual situations. Sexual response involves a complex interplay of physiology, emotions, experiences, beliefs, lifestyle and relationships. Disruption of any component can affect sexual desire, arousal or satisfaction, and treatment often involves more than one approach.

 Abstract

Enteric fever continues to be a major cause of mortality and morbidity globally, particularly in poor resource settings. Lack of rapid diagnostic assays is a major driving factor for the empirical treatment of enteric fever. Salmonellae are food-born pathogens transfer through oral ingestion of contaminated food or water and causing disease in both healthy and immune-compromised people. Current study was designed for isolating and identifying Salmonella typhi from blood samples. This study was conducted on 39 patients from both genders suffering from typhoid fever. Their age range was 1 to 50 years. The samples were collected from different hospitals in Ujjain city. The effect of age, gender and residence on the frequency distribution of typhoid fever was also determined. The collected samples were tested by culture. The results showed that blood culture and serological techniques are used to isolate Salmonella typhi and Salmonella paratyphi

 Abstract

Anaemia, besides its biological and physiological determinants, to a considerable extent is also influenced by the social and economic conditions of the adolescent girls. The rationale being socio-economic factors differentially affect the ability of households to afford adequate nutrition to the growing girls. A number of studies point out the significance of social and economic factors in the incidence of anaemia. In view of the underlying assumption, a survey based on a sample of 1437 adolescent girls, studying in 21 schools in district Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh was carried out. The block-wise 10 schools were taken from Kalpa, 5 from Pooh, and 6 from Nichar. The block-wise sample taken randomly was 756 adolescent girls from Kalpa, 263 from Pooh, and 418 from Nichar block. All the girls included in the test underwent Hb test to find out how many suffer from anaemia and their socio-economic background. The study found that majority of the girls have haemoglobin 8.9 and 9 to 11, whereas only few girls are having haemoglobin 12 plus. The study makes significant revelations social, demographic and economic factors have a determining effect on anaemia among adolescent girls.
