 Abstract

The main objective of this paper was to establish factors that affect employee productivity at Kenya Airways headquarters Nairobi Kenya. The paper was guided by four objectives which were; training, wages, motivation, and finally how working conditions affect employee productivity in the air transport industry. The researcher adopted descriptive research design in collecting data from the respondents. The researcher targeted the staff of Kenya Airways. Kenya Airways has employed 3,986 employees. The sampling design adopted was stratified random sampling since it gave an equal chance to all the respondents while questionnaires were used as a data collection tool. The questionnaires contained semi structured and structured questions which were administered and used to collect data. The sample for the study constituted 45 employees of The Kenya Airways. Data was presented by use of tables, charts and bar graphs. Quantitative and qualitative analysis was used to analyze the data. It was found that in training, 85% of the respondents agreed that training affects employee productivity within the organization. In wages, majority of the respondents believed that wages affected employee productivity in the air transport industry since 79% of the respondents said that they believe it did influence. The study suggests that Kenya Airways should conduct training needs assessment before designing any training manuals in order to have effective training programs.

 Abstract

The wireless sensors network (WSN) consists of various nodes having capabilities of sensing, computing and communicating data. Thus for communications, various routing protocols came into existence which includes AODV, DSDV and DSR etc. These routing protocols consume energy while routing but provides the best delivery in packets among source an destinations. Each of these routing protocols has its various properties on the basis it can send data to the destination. Thus in this paper, various pursuance investigation is done on these routing protocols i.e. AODV, DSDV, DSR and are compared by taking in to consideration various simulation scenarios i.e. 30, 35, 40, 50 and 100. These results are simulated and compared using NS2 simulator.

 Abstract

One of the most exciting Deep Learning applications is color grading black and white pictures. Coloring a grayscale image is a simple exercise for the human mind in general; we learn to fill in missing shades in colouring books from a young age. This task used to necessitate a lot of human involvement and hardcoding, but now, thanks to AI and Deep Learning, the entire process can be automated from start to finish. In this review, I looked at a number of publications that presented various AI and Deep Learning methodologies. I'll go over each approach and tactic that has been utilised to investigate different Neural Networks in Deep Learning and how they may be used to achieve incredible outcomes.

 Abstract

A Wireless sensor network (WSN) refers to a network of conceptually dispersed and customized sensors which are designed to monitor and record the physical state or conditions of the surrounding and progress the gathered data to a dedicated central location. WSNs are widely used in measuring environmental constrains such as air pressure, temperature, pollution levels, humidity, sound and wind. Because of their inclusive and far-reaching applications, the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have evolved over the decades. In order to use these kind of networks for different applications the design of energy efficient routing method becomes an important issue because the sensor node's lifespan is very much limited by the battery fuelled devices. As an Upshot, in contemplation of maximise the lifetime of each sensor node, an extensive survey discussing the routing algorithms for energy efficient WSN inspired by natural phenomenon has been brought off in this paper. This paper scouts and inquires a detailed reviewed analysis of already existing energy efficient routing algorithms, with are based on natural science (meta-heuristics) as the basic parameters are connected to energy efficiency as the primary objective. The final section of the paper discusses the limitations of the various algorithms addressed in this paper, as well as suggestions for overcoming them.

 Abstract

Background and purpose: The purpose of the study is to find the knowledge, attitude and belief of medical practitioner towards exercise during pregnancy. No such study had been published or reported till date in India regarding same, which have measured or portrayed actual scenario of knowledge and belief of medical practitioners towards exercise during pregnancy. With the above mentioned reasons, a strong need for this study is identified and planning to conduct a survey amongst medical practitioners of Bangalore urban. Hence, the purpose of the study is to find the knowledge, attitude and belief of Bangalore medical practitioners towards exercise during pregnancy in Bangalore Urban Community. Method: Number of 120 subjects were screened for the study purpose who were fitted in inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study was conducted at Bangalore. It was a Convenience sampling method. Duration of the study was single time study. Results: Most obstetricians were inclined to recommend mild over moderate exercise. Thus, there is a need for paradigm shift in how activity during pregnancy is viewed, as well as improved accuracy of the advice given. Healthcare providers should be reminded that in the absence of pathology or health risk to mother and/or foetus, pregnancy is a physiological state with benefits to be gained from exercise. Conclusion: The medical practitioners appears to largely support the belief that exercise is beneficial during pregnancy, and believe that they have a role to play in exercise promotion on a primary care level, but lacked accurate specifics with regard to exercise prescription (mode, frequency, intensity and duration) and are not adequately promoting it to their patients.

 Abstract

This paper tries to find out which variables are more important in determining child nutrition, according to NFHS-4 data. The study is done to estimate the determinants of child nutrition with variables as primary indicators of child undernutrition (stunted). Independent variables are maternal variables (age during pregnancy, BMI, education, etc.) Child variables (immunization, Diet, vitamin dose received), Household variables (sanitation, clean drinking water, a family member covered under health insurance), etc are taken as independent variables. OLS regression is done to estimate the linear impact of each independent variable on determining child nutrition and then quantile regression is performed which shows different impact at different quantiles

 Abstract

This paper, OCR is to develop OCR software for online/offline handwriting recognition. OCR is an Optical Character acknowledgment and is the mechanical or electronic interpretation of pictures of manually written or typewritten content (more often than not caught by a scanner) into machine-editable content.OCR is a field of research in example acknowledgment, computerized reasoning and machine vision. Handwritten recognition is used most often to describe the ability of a computer to translate human writing into text. This may take in one of the two ways, either by scanning of written text or by writing directly on peripheral input devices. Now they are going to implement the software which will recognize the characters from online or offline document (in image format) and use it as individual user profile. Here they are creating OCR which will perceive manually written English characters. This system can be used by multiple users. They can do this by improving our software for recognizing the handwriting of more than one user. Likewise in the event that they can take the stroke data and offer it to our framework, at that point it will be conceivable to perceive even cursive content moreover. The recognized characters are stored in the text file. They can add words to the sound files and invoke them through the program, so that the recognized words can be read aloud. Therefore they can make the PC read the manually written report.

 Abstract

This is a collection of documents that provide full and accurate information on an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) or a final medicinal dosage form in the pharmaceutical industry. It is now referred to as an active substance master file as a result of the European drug master file (ASMF). All prescription and over-the-counter medications in the United States are listed in a single database. The chemistry, manufacturing, stability, purity, and cGMP status of any human pharmaceutical product are all recorded in a drug master file (DMF) (DMF). In order to get an investigational new drug, new drug, or abbreviated new drug application, a DMF is required to meet regulatory standards and establish the medical product's quality, safety, and efficacy. To acquire market authorization, the drug master file must be structured and content differ from that of Europe (MA). To support regulatory requirements, the primary objective is to establish the product's quality, safety, and efficacy. A pharmaceutical company has created and presented this paper to the target market. There is no need to submit a DMF since there is no regulatory obligation. Confidential information concerning facilities, procedures, and products utilized in the production and processing of one or more human medicines is provided to the regulatory authority in this document. When two or more companies collaborate on the development or production of a drug product, a DMF is filed. Companies may safeguard their intellectual property by registering DMFs while still meeting regulatory disclosure requirements for processing information A drug master file was compiled in a variety of ways across the US, Europe, and Japan, according to the findings. Drug master files administered by the Food and Drug Administration (USA), Japan's PMDA, and the European Medicines Agency (EMA) are also included (EMA). In order to submit a drug master file in the US, Japan, and Europe, you need this information. As a result of this research, you will have a better understanding of how to fill out a drug master file in the nations stated above, as well as what the differences are between the countries. The DMF primarily supports regulatory requirements pertaining to the proof of quality, safety, and effectiveness in order to help secure a pharmaceutical product's marketing authorization. To keep up with the latest regulatory submissions, this research examined new updates and revisions to the drug master file according to the eCTD or electronic format utilized by most regulated nations as of 2016.

 Abstract

Sudha Murthy is one of the finest Indian writers with an international reputation. Sudha Murthy's 'Gently Falls the Bakula' is an attempt to study the identity, self-discovery and voice against female oppression and women's problems. The present article deals with a woman's ability to claim her rights and individuality in marriage and grow into a human being as a future woman. In her Gently Falls the Bakula, Sudha Murthy tells the story of a female protagonist who struggles to earn what she is. Identity is a state of mind that is conferred by interaction with peers and acceptance in society. A woman's identity crisis is one where she struggles to achieve her fullest sense as a human being against the forces of society that chain her and reject her as a being compared to the man. Earlier, the woman sought her identity as wife, mother and daughter in the relationship. But now the woman wants to stand on her feet as a complete human being equal to the man in the society. This paper depicts how Murthy tried to spread social identity and self-discovery among people through her novel Gently Falls the Bakula.
