By means of a distinguished approach of credit granting, microcredit programs stand out as a socioeconomic alternative for social insertion and fighting against poverty. In this context, a factor that has gained prominence is the female participation in these programs and it indicates that there is a lower level of default among women. In other words, women are naturally better credit risks than men in microcredit. Flourishing evidence reveals that women are more possibly to repay security-free microfinance than men. The aim of this research was to evaluate the relationship between gender and amounts which were granted in microcredit operations. We speculate that better recompense performance of women microloan grantors can largely be explained by gender differences in intimate reliability.

Noise pollution is increasing in the daily life with the urbanization of the society. It has a big impact on the society disturbing mental peace and affecting the health of the society. The government is taking actions to reduce noise pollution. The objective is to help the government reach the goal by highlighting areas where noise pollution is high. The goal is to explore a simpler way to measure and calculate noise levels and display it easily on a heat map. The proposed system includes development of an android application which runs in the background and repetitively records audio snippets, measures the noise level of the audio snippet and uploads it to a server. There it is processed and displayed on a heat map. This map makes easier for the government bodies and the users to locate the noisy areas in the cities and do proper city planning and take proper actions to reduce noise pollution.

Bapsi Sidhwa recipient of many prestigious national and international awards is a woman author of great renown in the Asia. Through her novel Ice Candy Man she tries to portray the life with her artistic neutrality during the period of partition of Indian in 1947. Bapsi Sidhwa through her female protagonist Lenny Sethi, disabled four years girl attempts to change the impression of disability in society describing the adventurous four years journey of the protagonist in the present novel showing her concern on pitiable condition of women in the days of the partition along as well as socio-political issues too. When we go back to have a look on the disabled characters portrayed in the works of Indian English or Hindi writers , it reflects the negative portrayal of characters with zero contribution in making society integrated. But in Ice Candy Man the novelist projects the observation and speculation of a disabled girl who belongs to Parsee community in Lahore and does not make any discrimination among people on the basis of caste, creed, religion, community etc. Above all she keeps the religion of humanism on top. Lenny Sethi is Parsee (minority community) but lives with her Ayah Shanta, Hindu Girls and Imamdin, her cook (Muslin) happily. She shows there was communal harmony before the Partition days but communal riots make the people change. Now love and trust disappeared leaving the place to hatred jealousy and vnegeance which give birth to a new society replete with atrocities on the women, abductions, mutilations, and rapes on innocent women and girls which brings disaster in lives of Indian. Even in such horrible situation Lenny Sethi is seen seeking the way to get out of Hira Mandi of Pakistan. While Lenny Sethi herself is confined to place and depend on other for her needs, she still thinks about people and successfully attempts to save the life of Shanta with the help of her godmother. Her neutral outlook and vision towards life make us realize disability is not to be segregated from society but should be assimilated to. Disability is not disqualification it is just show the lack of work capacity of a particular organ. This way disability should be treated.

This experiment, comparison analysis of micro structural properties, and grain size of Pure Al (powder), 95%AL + 5% B4C and 90%AL + 10% B4C (With ECAP method & stir casting) are determined. Based on the micro structural analysis using SEM, the particle distributions of AL- B4C were analysed. The powdered sample were fabricated using equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) and stir casting process. When observed using SEM it was found that the particle distribution homogeneity increased as the number of passes increased from one to four. The factors such as Temperature, number of passes are to be considered in the development of grain structure and refinement. The results show that: the amount of shear strain and the mobility of metal matrix have the most important influence to the uniform distribution of particles Al? B4C. In this work, the mixtures of B4C particles and Al powders were fabricated into sever plastic deformation using ECAP and stir casting. And the effects of different ratios, positions and deformation stages on the distribution of B4C particles were investigated.

For tissue regeneration, preconditioning of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) prior to cell transplantation has been noted to activate target gene set and specific molecular functions. An efficient MSC source for tissue regeneration is amniotic fluid-derived MSC (AF-MSC) owing to their potential in tissue repair and paracrine secretion. However, a standard chondrogenic differentiation medium of MSC, which promotes differentiation through a signal of transforming growth factor (TGF)-?1, makes for an unstable and limited outcome on amniotic fluid-derived MSC (AF-MSC) differentiation into chondrogenic lineage. To increase the differentiation outcome of AF-MSC, we investigated chondrogenic differentiation effects of eight growth factors (GFs)/cytokines on AF-MSC through expression of chondrogenesis-related genes, including Col-I, Col-II, ACAN, RunX2 and SOX9. Our work demonstrates that anabolic Col-II gene can be increased by stimulation of TGF-?, insulin like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and stromal derived factor 1 ? (SDF-1?) with a concentration-dependency. We found that TGF-? elevated anabolic gene function and declined expression of Col-I, typically present in fibrocartilage, during chondrogenic differentiation of AF-MSC. Moreover, TGF-? was not toxic to micro-environment for AF-MSC differentiation. Substitution of TGF-?1 by TGF-? in the condition medium can enhance over two times expression of Col-II and SOX9 genes in AF-MSC. The current study also demonstrated that single GF/cytokine has a greater effect to elevate chondrogenic differentiation of AF-MSC than the GF/cytokine combinations. We conclude that TGF-? preconditioning improved chondrogenesis in AF-MSC for cartilage regeneration.

Abstract: This paper introduces a new invention which is called as the V-Tree by the author. As the name implies it is named after the geometrical shape of the English alphabet V. Given the great success of recursive nature of H-Trees, it was inspired to invent another Tree which we call it a V-Tree. The basic problem with H-Tree and C-Tree is they have no hierarchical basis to visualize the binary tree. The main objective of this work is to design a set of v-Tree with suitable grammar in L-systems which visually implies the hierarchy. H-Trees which are used for clock pulse distribution in VLSI design, fills a space which is bound by a rectangle. We demonstrate the flexibility of V-Trees which can be bound in a rectangle as well as in a trapezoid which is an advantage in VLSI design in a trapezoidal circuit board. Similarly, these Trees can be visualized as a layout for graph drawing of binary trees with trapezoidal boundaries.

The paper has pregnantly paused time and documented the journey of a gendered shoe. Are Male and Female genders dominant over other genders is the question. This paper actually lives out Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) - viewing, seeing, watching, eyeing, and observing three decades from age 20 till age 50. The style used is anthropomorphism. We find that MFLGBTQ is the real status and the male and female is not the dominant pair.

The Hydraulic excavator machines are heavy duty earth movers consisting of a boom, arm and bucket. It works on principle of hydraulic fluid with hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic motors. The Hydraulic excavator arm operation require coordinated movement of boom, arm and bucket. The important criteria for the design to be safe is that, the digging forces developed by actuators must be greater than that of the resistive forces offered by the surface to be excavated. The main objective of this paper is to perform design and analysis Excavator Arm for the calculated Force. The CATIA software is used for making the 3D model of the excavatorss arm linkage. By using ANSYS workbench software analysis of the excavator arm is done at existing digging force and lifting force. Excavator bucket is very crucial element of hydraulic excavator. The whole loads of excavated materials have been carried out by this element. As the present mechanism used in excavator arm is subjected to deformation and bending stresses during lifting and digging operation respectively, because of which failure occurs frequently at the bucket end of the arm.

Caste has been playing a very dominant, deliberating role in our society since long. Also mass media play a major role in informing, educating and entertaining the people. Besides, they are used to bring about certain desirable changes among the people , as media and society influence each other. The discrimination of certain groups in the society is followed in terms of the media coverage too. Media can serve as an important instrument in achieving social justice by educating, raising awareness and questioning caste discrimination. But unfortunately the, Mass media or the mainstream media is not in a position to report the violence on Dalith Women. This media deliberately excluding issues of these sections of women to report and to discuss. Dalith women in Indian society are triply exploited on the basis of caste, class & Gender. But these are not taken as headlines in News papers or Top Debates in Television channels. This paper discusses how caste playing main role in reporting women issues in mainstream media by comparing two (2) incidents in Telangana State, Disha & Samatha. It also concludes that media should have moral responsibility and gives suggestions to the down trodden communities to have their own media to address their problems.

Trained manpower is required at every stage due to rapid advancement of technology. The technical knowledge acquired from engineering colleges, polytechnics, industrial training institutes and technical institutes needs to be supplemented with applied engineering and managerial skills. These skills are to be regularly updated to cope with the ever progressing and rapidly advancing technologies being introduced in the power sector where the speed of obsolescence often overtakes the pace of acquisition of a particular skill. Due to introduction of more sophisticated technology and automation, the man/ MW ratio is declining. This indicates the increasing importance of each individual, which in turn makes manpower quality criteria more demanding. Indias energy sector has been growing rapidly and today is the ninth largest economy in the world, driven by a real GDP growth of 8.7% in the last five years. Also, India is one of the largest power generating countries in the world with an installed capacity in excess of 253 GW growing at a CAGR of over 10% in the last five years. Thus the immense potential for growth in the Indian power sector is apparent when we compare per capita consumption of electricity in India with that of developed nations i.e., only about 684 kilowatt hours (kWh) per capita, compared with over 7000 kWh per capita in industrialized nations such as Germany, France, Japan etc. This study will address the human resource challenges currently faced by power sector and lays out the strategies which ultimately lead to the development of this sector and provide better quality service to the consumers as per the stipulation contained in the Electricity Act, 2003.

Steganography is the method of hiding secret information like text, password, image and audio behind original cover file. In this paper we proposed an image steganography using raspberry pi. In this system, our aim is to hide message behind the imagefile. The message can be a text, image. The embedded system will help to secure the message with in the image file. In Embedded system, the message much secure because albeit even though if the unauthorized person succeeds in being able to hack the image, the person wont ready to read the message. Secret data like image encrypted into cover data by developing the application involved with LSB algorithm on ARM architecture device.Images with embedded data can be used to convey secrets using easy, fast and stand-alone novel algorithms, which when combined together, yields a more complex algorithm. This paper deals with asignificant bitXOR encryption with a recursive diagonal transformation as a pre-processing step and is then embedded employing a using a Least Significant Bit (LSB) steganography. An innovative manner in this entire process using raspberry pi. The results were found to be lossless, secure and high image metric values are achieved.

We proposed a system that detects the pothole in the roads using image processing. In this paper we use water shedding based segmentation to find the places that doesnt have a flat surface or has a hole. The image preprocessing is based on the difference of gaussian bilateral filtering and clustering based segmentation. Arduino with an attached camera is used. The attached camera captures the pictures of the road and checks for the pothole.Potholes have become a major reason for the road accidents. Its usually after rainy season or due to accidents that these potholes occur. Leaving them unattended can cause damage to the vehicle and also people may be injured. Hence in this paper we have created a system that detects the potholes in the road and acquires the location. The location is either sent as a message through gsm or updated in the webpage (iot) for the public to access and keep themselves updated about the road conditions.

During traffic on road the bike rider continuously change the gear. By foot movement, changing of gear is not easy during traffic. While concentrating on traffic sometimes, bike driver forgets the gear number and bike turns off due to invalid gear which cause great problem in traffic. The main objective of this concept is used to apply the gear by using automation system in automobile vehicles. This is the new innovative model mainly used to control the vehicle. Here we are concentrating to design the automatic gear changing mechanism in two-wheeler vehicles by using the electronic devices. This is very useful for the gear changing mechanism in automobile vehicles. By using this we can easily control the vehicle and improve the perfomance of the vehicle also we can avoid the wear and tear of the vehicle.
