Female foeticide is a result of a gender bias social construction. It's discrimination against women and believes them to be less valuable than men. Sons are preferred over daughters for many different reasons in this patriarchal society. Whether it be economically or socially, women are seen as weak and are less prized than men. Female foeticide is the process of finding out the sex of the foetus and undergoing abortion if it is a girl. Although female foeticide is illegal but still many people continue to practice it. Besides this, there are some communities which practice female infanticide which means the practice of killing the girl child once she is born. One of the most heinous ways of the discrimination against women in a society is through female foeticide due to which she is even denied the right to be born.

Savitribai Phule (1831-1897) was a prominent social reformer and feminist thinker of nineteen- century India. She also a pioneer for women's education in India and fought for the education of girls throughout her life. From the duration of the British decree or rule, she (Savitribai) dedicated her existence in flourishing women's civil rights and introduced education for girls in Indian society jointly with her husband. She also founded the first school for girls in the Pune province of Maharashtra. Phule's social thought are based on humanism, on the values of equality, fraternity and justice. In these perspectives, the great philosopher Swami Vivekananda said, "There is no chance for the welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved." It is not possible for a bird to fly on only one wing. Therefore, in this paper, an attempt has been made to assess how, as a visionary, Phule's thinking and activities on women's empowerment impact nineteen -century British India.

Flood risk assessment is a critical component of urban planning and disaster management, especially in rapidly growing cities like Bangalore, India. This abstract provides an overview of the flood risk assessment in Bangalore, highlighting the key factors contributing to flood risks, the methods used for assessment, and the implications for sustainable urban development. Bangalore, often referred to as India's Silicon Valley, has witnessed unprecedented urbanization and population growth in recent decades. However, this rapid expansion has resulted in increased vulnerability to flooding, primarily due to unplanned development, inadequate stormwater drainage systems, and the encroachment of water bodies and floodplains. The city's topography, with its undulating terrain and several lakes, further exacerbates the flood risk. To address these challenges, comprehensive flood risk assessments have become essential. Such assessments incorporate data on rainfall patterns, land use, soil types, drainage infrastructure, and historical flood events. Advanced technologies like remote sensing, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and hydrological modeling are instrumental in analyzing and predicting flood risks.

This paper examines the trajectory of the role of information and communication technology (ICT) in creating a cashless economy. A cashless economy is an environment in which transactions are conducted using a credit card or debit card, internet banking, an e-wallet, a point of sale, and so on rather than physically moving currency. The report also demonstrated how the employment of information and communication technology gadgets and techniques in the banking industry has resulted in major changes in the quality, mode, and substance of banking operations around the world. This study also discussed the significance of digital competency in the cashless economy and developed a framework for them. "Digital competence refers to the set of knowledge, skills, attitudes (including abilities, strategies, values and awareness) that are required when using ICT and digital media to perform tasks, solve problems and communicate" [1]. Digital proficiency is an important prerequisite for a cashless economy.

In earlier days the number of cars that were in use were less as most of the people preferred public transport system. But now days with the ease of getting loans from large number of banks, concept of pooling, time management and several other factors most of the people prefer to buy private cars. It is a known fact that for every action there will be a reaction, so in this case the more number of cars on the road is creating a chaos of car parking. Now a days in some of the big cities the government and sometime some private players are coming up with pay and park facilities for the cars. But here the driver has to often waste time in finding a space for parking the car. In today's fast moving world time has become more valuable than money. So we have to design a system which will help the driver of the car to find the space in the parking area within some accepted time without causing delays.

ABSTRACT Agriculture began when early humans realized that some of the plants growing in the wild could be used for food, clothing and health care. Humans all over the world identified, selected and cultivated only those plants that were useful to them and were best suited for cultivation in their regions. Each crop plant is considered to have originated in a specific region of the world. Crop plants from these regions spread to other parts of the world during different periods of our agricultural history. According to the Government of India, one of the reasons to legislate the PPVFR Act and to allow PBR on plant varieties is the TRIPS agreement India signed under WTO. Considering the consequences of this to Indian agriculture and the farming community, one may like to ask why India did join the WTO and undertook such agreements. WTO is a world organization for trade. International trade is important to all countries and more so to India because of its big population and growing economy. India is a founder member and key player of the United Nations system and the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT). The GATT, which was established under UN, has now been changed to the WTO. International relations are important for every country, particularly in times of globalization. International relations, however, have both advantages and disadvantages. Every country tries to achieve a net advantage over the long term. In the WTO, India is one among 147 countries. Most of the countries who are not currently members of the WTO are trying to get membership.
