 Abstract

Pico hydroelectricity is a good and reliable type of clean energy. In this project, we talk about making a pico-hydro system that takes water from houses' water tanks. The energy from the water flowing in pipes at home can make electricity for storing energy. To make it work better and produce more energy, we have three new mechanical setups: an air bladder to keep water pressure, U-tube piping, and a big nozzle at the end of the pipe. This system doesn't need fuel and doesn't need much upkeep to make power. We want to make a machine that uses the energy stored in water tanks to make power. So, the goal of this project is to create a small hydro system that uses water from a tank to make electricity for homes.

 Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between functional friendships, interpersonal dependency and perceived choice among young adult females aged 18-24. Utilizing a sample of 150 participants, the research employed ex post facto methodology and statistical analyses including correlation and simple linear regression. Valid and reliable measures, including the Mcgill Friendship Questionnaire (FF) which has 6 sub domains stimulating companionship (F1), help (F2), intimacy (F3), reliable alliance (F4), self validation (F5), emotional security (F6). Perceived choice and awareness of self scale (PCASS) with two domains Perceived Choice (PC1) and Awareness of Self (PC2) and Interpersonal Dependency inventory-6 items version (idi-6) containing Emotional dependency (ID1) and Functional dependency (ID2) , were utilized. Results revealed weak correlations among functional friendship domains, interpersonal dependency domains, and awareness of self. The findings suggest that friendships may influence individuals' perceptions of themselves and their emotional management. This study highlights a gap in research on adult friendships, emphasizing the significance of further exploration in this area, particularly given the increasing reliance on friendships in adulthood. Additionally, the variable of perceived choice also identified as autonomy warrants further investigation beyond its association with medical health decisions.

 Abstract

Arun Sarma is the next most successful and greatest playwright in the theater world of Assam after Jyoti Prasad Agrawal. He made his debut in the Assamese theater with his first play, Urukha Paja (1962). During the sixties, social life in the theater scene of Assam became very turbulent. However, this instability is still somewhat visible. There was a fear that Assamese stage drama would be stuck in the traditional traditions. Arun Sarma, with the help of National Theater School graduate Dulal Roy, took the lead in taking the Assamese theater genre to a new light with a beautiful combination of technique and literary taste on stage. Arun Sharma has left a lasting mark on Assamese dramatic literature with his tireless efforts and new experiments. His plays clearly reflect the tone of modernity. Therefore, the proposed research paper attempts to analytically discuss Arun Sharma's Ahar Drama

 Abstract

Road lane-line detection is pivotal for autonomous driving systems and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). However, in complex traffic scenes, challenges like shadows, road blurriness, and sparse markings hinder accurate detection and real-time performance. This project addresses these issues by implementing a lane-line detection algorithm using Python and OpenCV. The algorithm enhances detection by preprocessing images, employing techniques like color thresholding and edge detection, and utilizing Hough transform for lane boundary identification. It provides a comprehensive guide covering image processing, computer vision, and OpenCV, along with strategies to overcome challenges. Moreover, it introduces a multi-stage algorithm incorporating preprocessing, feature extraction, instance segmentation for precise lane delineation, and post-processing for refined results. Through experimentation, this approach demonstrates superior performance, ensuring reliable lane detection across diverse road conditions and environments, thereby contributing to the advancement of autonomous driving technology.

 Abstract

In the contemporary era, cardiovascular diseases, including heart attacks, remain a leading cause of mortality. Identifying heart attack risk in its early stages and accurately assessing such risks related to cardiovascular conditions are crucial for proactive patient management and preventive interventions. This research introduces a pioneering deep learning architecture termed "CardioGraphVision" for the early detection of heart attack risks and cardiovascular conditions using retinal images. The proposed methodology integrates Graph Convolutional Networks (GCNs) and Vision Transformers (ViTs) to incorporate both local structural information and global contextual understanding from retinal scans. A comprehensive simulation analysis is conducted to assess the performance of CardioGraphVision, which is compared against existing algorithms, and its predictive accuracy is measured using pertinent simulation metrics. By conceptualizing retinal images as graph nodes and leveraging self-attention mechanisms, the proposed algorithm achieves precise and efficient feature extraction, essential for early detection of heart attack risk and cardiovascular conditions. To gauge CardioGraphVision's efficacy, diverse simulation experiments are carried out using an extensive dataset of retinal images. Through these comparisons, the predictive accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and computational efficiency of CardioGraphVision are established. Simulation results demonstrate that CardioGraphVision surpasses existing algorithms in terms of accuracy and sensitivity for early detection of heart attack risk and cardiovascular conditions. Moreover, the algorithm's ability to effectively analyze retinal images with reduced computational overhead further augments its practical relevance.

 Abstract

Many major cities in India are now experiencing severe water shortage, impacting millions of people. The data indicates that only a small number of Indian cities have effective water management systems in place despite the increasing population of the nation. The research papers address the imminent water issue in India. India's reduced monsoon rainfall is attributed to climate change, fast and unplanned urbanization, uncontrolled development, and lack of effective water management planning. Both towns had severe water shortages in recent years, particularly impacting vulnerable communities. The case studies analyse the systemic risk and main factors leading to the water crisis in two cities, along with its social, physical, and economic consequences. The studies also provide solutions to address the problem. The research indicates that failed agriculture, political tensions in urban and rural regions, economic issues from company closures, and a rising number of farmer suicides have led to a significant influence on socio-economic, environmental, and political systems. The case study proposes preventive, mitigative, and preparatory actions for proactive urban management. The research study examines actions performed at a local level to mitigate water crises and the main problems encountered in risk management. The research study emphasizes the importance of taking proactive measures for long-term sustainability and resilience-building. It also advocates for promoting social behaviour change communication campaigns and capacity-building programs among stakeholders and citizens to effectively manage risks.

 Abstract

This paper examines the intricate relationship between human rights and intellectual property rights (IPR) through the lens of the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights. It discusses how the Covenant recognizes certain rights, like the right to food and health, which may be affected by intellectual property frameworks in developing nations. The paper also explores the balance between rewarding intellectual contributions, as acknowledged in Article 15(1)c of the Covenant, and the impact of existing intellectual property laws. It delves into conflicts between IPR and human rights, such as the right to health, education, culture, privacy, and freedom of expression, highlighting the need for a careful balance between these rights. It concludes with a few suggestions on how to address these conflicts and ensure that both intellectual property and human rights are protected.

The purpose of the article is to show the place of Sri Chattambi Swamikal in the context of Kerala modernity. Chattambi Swamikal was one of the well-known social reformers in India. He was a philosopher, a poet, a mystic, and a social revolutionary. He desired to spread the message of the mystic experience and the presence of divine to one and all in society. In Kerala, the activities of Chattambi Swamikal and Narayana Guru encompassed the dimensions. His thoughts and actives have catalyzed many social movements and reforms in Travancore. Swamikal along with his contemporary, Narayana Guru and Ayyankali during 19th century strived hard to fight against caste system and social injustice that existed in Kerala a century ago.  Abstract

The polarities of democracy framework is founded on critical theory ideas that seek to achieve social change by overcoming oppression and violence, which both endanger humanity's survival. Benet expanded the theory by utilizing Johnson's concept of polarity management as a conceptual framework. Viewing the polarities of democracy model as a unifying paradigm can help in organizing, leading, and evaluating democratic social change activities aimed at creating healthy, sustainable, and just communities. According to the argument, Democracy is seen as a remedy for oppression rather than a mere dichotomy. In order to reach that point, it's important to recognize the presence of 10 values, with each being crucial on its own yet not enough individually, forming five polarity pairs. The study aimed to explore the perspectives of Haitian educators and other instructors familiar with public education in rural areas on the challenges and opportunities for enhancing access to quality public secondary education in places such as Pointe L'Abacou, Haiti. Throughout the study, all five pairs were considered, but three pairings of the polarities of democracy theory were used to address this gap
