 Abstract

The virtual trial room system operates by receiving real-time video feeds from camera and processing the data using the OpenCV computer vision library and Haar Cascade classifier. To ensure accurate face identification in the video feed, the Haar Cascade classifier undergoes training on a substantial dataset of human faces. OpenCV's algorithms extract attributes from detected faces and monitor their movements in real-time. Distinguishing itself from typical security systems that require physical security officers, the virtual trial room system functions autonomously, thus reducing the need for additional staff and associated costs. This autonomy makes it well-suited for various environments, including office buildings, public spaces, and retail establishments where real-time tracking and monitoring are essential for safety and security. Notably, the system's affordability stands out as one of its key advantages. Moreover, the system excels in real-time tracking and monitoring, crucial for maintaining building safety and security. Its capability to reliably detect and track human faces even in challenging lighting conditions is owed to the utilization of advanced computer vision techniques like the Haar Cascade classifier and OpenCV. Additionally, the system is highly expandable, allowing for the integration of additional cameras and sensors as required. Data gathered by the system is securely stored and managed using Dlib, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval for analysis purposes. Additionally, the virtual trial room system can be programmed to send notifications if it detects any unexpected movements or behaviors, enabling proactive measures to be taken and enhancing overall security protocols.

 Abstract

Children's most prevalent tumors are called infantile hemangiomas (IHs). Rapid proliferation of endothelial cells in the early stages of infancy is indicative of these malignancies. primary care physicians should believe they will turn around on their own volition and without help or consequences. Pediatric hemangiomas can cause pain, functional disability, or irreversible damage if complications arise quickly. Children with IHs in potentially fatal places, local consequences such as bleeding, ulceration, and necrosis, and deformity that is either functional or cosmetic are represented in this group. Parents of patients as well as doctors may experience anxiety when choosing a course of treatment. Treatment techniques are very varied. The knowledge of this illness, its treatment, adverse drug reactions, and difficulties that arise in newborns following therapy will all be covered in this study.

 Abstract

This paper discusses the critical matter of SQL Injection Attacks (SQLIA), which are widely recognized as a prevalent vulnerability in web applications and are among the top 10 web security concerns identified by the Open Web Application Security Project. As social networking and e-commerce have proliferated, so have assaults such as spamming and phishing, which pose grave risks to the security of user data. SQLIA permits unauthorized database access, modification, and deletion; therefore, hackers must exploit details such as table and field names. In order to address this issue, we suggest implementing a divide-and-conquer strategy that utilizes randomization-based encryption algorithms and the Hirschberg algorithm to bolster security while decreasing the complexity of time and space. By substantially enhancing security and resilience against prevalent attack techniques such as dictionary and brute force assaults, our solution outperforms current methodologies. Through the implementation of cutting-edge encryption methods and algorithmic improvements, our objective is to construct a resilient collection of tools that can effectively protect databases against unauthorized entry. This will consequently guarantee an elevated level of security for both users and their data.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT The present study was designed to examine the how residents residing in two different styles of residential settings with good and bad environmental quality conditions respond to various community lifestyle features of their housing environment and what are its likely consequences on health & well-being. The study was conducted on a homogeneous sample comprising of 320 residents who were heads their respective residential units. A 2X2 factorial design was employed in which equal number of respondents were drawn across environmental quality (good versus bad) and Type of housing (apartments versus duplexes). The major results of this study revealed that residents living in Duplex style of housing perceived their community life- style significantly better than their counterparts living in apartment complexes. Similar trends of result were found between environmental quality and community life - style with residents living in good environmental quality dwellings reported significantly better community life- style in their complexes than their counterparts living in bad quality housing. Finally, the results indicated that high level of community predicted better health & wellbeing. Thus, duplex type of dwelling and high-quality residential complex independently promotes better community life- style to its residents. However, housing type and environmental quality were not related to health & well-being. Finally, community lifestyle was found to be significantly correlated with health. All these results reported are on total scores obtained on Community life- style and health & wellbeing. Implications of the study were discussed.

 Abstract

In rural India, women constitute the backbone of the village economy. Women engage in a variety of jobs to supplement their income, and the majority of rural Indian women are employed in agriculture, the country's largest unorganised sector. A large portion of this labour force is landless and comes from lower socioeconomic classes. The technology of farming modifies women's function and status in the process of rural social transformation. The disaggregated pattern of development has varied impact on women members of every region, group, class and caste. In this backdrop, it is pertinent to examine the status of women across the levels of rural transformation consequent upon the technological and agricultural growth. Except a few studies conducted here and there, no serious study is done to explain this social phenomenon. So there is a need to make an attempt to study the women labour especially in agricultural field of YSR District.

 Abstract

The pervasive impact and rapid advancement of the Internet have brought about changes in aspects of modern culture including the way businesses operate and interact with customers. Consequently there has been a surge in patent applications seeking to improve e-commerce and internet related technologies within the realm of property. This paper critically examines the challenges and potential drawbacks associated with internet and e-commerce patents in today's technological landscape. The digital era has ignited a wave of creativity leading to a rise in patent requests for inventions related to the internet and e-commerce. These advancements encompass a spectrum of ideas ranging from data analysis and personalized recommendation algorithms to marketplaces and payment systems. However due to limitations within the patent system and the evolving nature of internet technologies several significant issues arise. One such issue is the proliferation of ambiguous patents commonly referred to as "patent trolls" resulting from the increase in patent applications. These entities acquire patents not with the intention of utilizing these inventions themselves but rather employ litigation tactics to compel businesses into compliance thereby hindering competition and innovation. These tactics used by patent trolls have been shown to hinder the growth and innovation of businesses. They divert resources away from product development. Secondly, the rapid pace of advancements in the Internet and e-commerce sectors can render patented inventions obsolete within a short period. Innovations based on internet technologies may become outdated in a few years due to evolving customer preferences, emerging technologies or shifts in market dynamics. This raises concerns about whether it's appropriate to grant patents for innovations that may not have a lasting impact. Furthermore enforcing patents across countries poses challenges due to variations in patent laws and interpretations of patent claims. This can lead to conflicting judgments and hinder global efforts to protect intellectual property rights with the border nature of e-commerce. The limitations of internet and e-commerce patents also include drawbacks for innovation. While patents are intended to foster innovation by granting exclusivity they can inadvertently hinder collaboration and knowledge sharing, within the technology community. Sometimes innovators must navigate through a web of existing patents to avoid infringement, which hampers the development of ground-breaking ideas. With the increase, in Internet and e commerce patent applications it becomes crucial to consider a few risks. The emergence of patent trolls the evolving nature of technology the complexities surrounding enforcement and the challenges to open innovation have cast doubt on whether the current patent system is suitable for these dynamic industries. As technology advances further it is essential for policymakers, legal professionals and innovators to collaborate and address these concerns. This will ensure that the patent system continues to foster innovations than hinder progress, as a roadblock.

 Abstract

A patient's demand for comfort and assurance is paramount. A primary nursing duty is to ensure comfort; health care interventions may be performed based on traditions and routines that practitioners no longer critically examine. A broad lens through which to evaluate pain and pain treatment options is the context of comfort. Patients in hospitals frequently experience procedural pain, which they all naturally attempt to avoid. Any intramuscular injection will undoubtedly hurt where it is injected. Individual experiences of pain after intramuscular injection can be influenced by a number of factors, including anxiety, culture, age, gender, and expectations of pain treatment. Aim and Objectives: The purpose of this research is to assess the Helfer Skin Tap Technique's effectiveness in treating intramuscular pain in patients receiving injections at the Bhagyoday Thrift Charity Hospital in Sagar (M.P.). The objectives of this study was to gauge the degree of discomfort before to using the Helfer skin tap procedure, Use the tap technique to gauge the impact of the Helfer skin on the degree of discomfort experienced during intramuscular injection delivery, to assess the difference in discomfort between the application of the Helfer skin tap method and after intervention and using the Helfer skin tap technique, to determine the relationship between a subset of demographic characteristics and the degree of discomfort. Methods: After receiving approval from the Bhagyoday Tirth Charitable Trust in Sage, Madhya Pradesh, the researcher proceeded with data collection, selecting samples using the purposive sampling technique. The researcher received formal permission to conduct the study from the principal of Bhagyoday Tirth Nursing College. The researcher-built relationships with the attendees, staff, and patients and gave assurances regarding the confidentiality of the data gathered. They were administered the intervention named the helfer skin tap procedure and asked to record their answers. In order to analyse the data, descriptive statistics were used. The chi-square test was employed to establish a correlation between the patient's chosen demographic factors and the efficacy of the Helfer skin tap technique for intramuscular injection. Results: The study's outcome and analysis were predicated on the statistical analysis of the "t" test results, which were used to determine whether there was a significant difference in the amount of discomfort experienced during an intramuscular injection before and after using the Helfer skin tap technique. Chi square was utilized to determine whether certain demographic factors were associated with the degree of discomfort experienced after the delivery of an intramuscular injection using The Helfer Skin Tap Technique. The mean difference and "t" test were used to compare the data collection results before and after applying the Helfer skin tap technique. The results indicate that the mean score was 5.33 before and 0.93 after applying the Helfer skin tap technique, with a mean difference of 4. Thus, the outcomes demonstrate the efficacy of the Helfer skin tap procedure. According to the data, 53.33% of adult patients reported no pain, 40% reported mild pain, 6.67% reported moderate pain, and 0% reported severe or worse pain. Conclusion: This study found that the Helfer skin tap method was a highly useful way to lessen injection-related discomfort. According to this research, 53.34% of patients had no pain at all, 40% had mild pain, only 6.67% had moderate pain, and 0% had severe or worse pain. This is a better outcome than what was obtained with the Helfer skin tap approach previously. Prior to the Helfer skin tap, the mean was 5.33; after the skin tap, the mean was 0.93.

 Abstract

This study examines the environmental effects of electric vehicles (EVs) by performing a thorough Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). The whole life cycle of EVs--including raw material extraction, production, vehicle usage, and end-of-life management--is painstakingly examined in this study. Examining the energy use and ecological effects during the production process, the study examines the effects of mining vital minerals like lithium, cobalt, and nickel on the environment. Additionally, the study evaluates the emissions and environmental effects of electric vehicles when they are in operation, taking energy efficiency and electricity sources into account. The study also examines recycling procedures and the environmental effects of getting rid of electric car parts, with a focus on batteries. This research intends to provide useful insights for customers, manufacturers, and policymakers by offering a thorough and nuanced knowledge of how electric vehicles either exacerbate or mitigate environmental challenges. The results are important because they help shape sustainable practices in the automotive sector and help make well-informed decisions on the development and acceptance of electric vehicles.

 Abstract

This research explores the relationship between high and low pet attachment with parental bonding, adverse childhood experiences, and prosocial behaviour among young adults. Using convenience and snowball sampling methods, 100 participants aged 18 to 25 were recruited to complete a questionnaire comprising measures such as the Parental Bonding Instrument, Adverse Childhood Experience Scale, Prosocialness Scale, and Lexington's Pet Attachment Scale-M. Pearson correlation analysis was employed to examine the associations between these variables. Results revealed significant correlations, indicating a positive relationship between pet attachment and prosocial behaviour, and a negative association between adverse childhood experiences and pet attachment. Furthermore, nuanced findings regarding the influence of parental bonding on social behaviours were observed.

 Abstract

Over the past few years, there has been a large investment in information and communication technology(ICT) in the teaching/learning process. In this context we have to know the perception of teacher trainees towards the use of ICT in teacher education programme. Three government teacher trainees institution of Cuttack were selected as population by using purposive sampling and by using random sampling select 100 B.Ed students. Out of which 50 male and 50 female students and 60 science and 40 Arts students. The investigator used descriptive survey method for this study. Data were analyzed by using statistical techniques like mean, standard deviation and t-test. The objectives were to identity the perception of teacher trainees towards using ICT in relation to they are sex and stream. The main findings were that most of the teacher trainees perceive the case of ICT in teacher education programme favorably. There is no difference in the perception of male and female teacher trainees towards the use of ICT in teacher education programme. Both science and arts teachers trainees perceived the dimensions in equal manner. It was also disclosed that teacher trainees need to be introduced more opportunities and exposure regarding using ICT and also proper practical training needed for ICT implementation and betterment of teaching learning process in teacher education programme.

 Abstract

Environmental justice is typically defined as distributive justice, which is the equitable distribution of environmental risks and benefits. Some definitions address procedural justice, which is the fair and meaningful participation in decision-making. Other scholars emphasise recognition justice, which is the recognition of oppression and difference in environmental justice communities. People's capacity to convert social goods into a flourishing community is a further criteria for a just society. However, initiatives have been taken to expand the notion of environmental justice beyond the three pillars of distribution, participation, and recognition to also include the dimensions of self-governing authority, relational ontologies, and epistemic justice. The goal of the environmental justice movement is to achieve agency for marginalised communities in making environmental decisions that affect their lives. The global environmental justice movement arises from local environmental conflicts in which environmental defenders frequently confront multi-national corporations in resource extraction or other industries. Local outcomes of these conflicts are increasingly influenced by trans-national environmental justice networks. Environmental justice scholars have produced a large interdisciplinary body of social science literature that includes contributions to political ecology, environmental law, and theories on justice and sustainability. The article reviews two decades of scholars' claims that exposures to pollution and other environmental risks are unequally distributed by race and class, examines case studies of environmental justice social movements and the history and politics of environmental justice policy making in the United States, and describes the emerging issue of global climate justice. The authors engage the contentious literature on how to quantitatively measure and document environmental injustice, especially the complex problems of having data of very different types and areas (such as zip codes, census tracts, or concentric circles) around polluting facilities or exposed populations. Also considered is the value of perspectives from critical race theory and ethnic studies for making sense of these social phenomena. The article concludes with a discussion of the globalization of the environmental justice movement, discourse, and issues, as well as with some policy implications of finding and understanding environmental justice. One unique feature of this review is its breadth and diversity, given the different approaches taken by the three co-authors.
