 Abstract

This study has been undertaken to implement efficient system to monitor health of a person. In this system health of a person includes heart rate and temperature. It is important to monitor patient's data such as heart rate and temperature constantly. The proposed system monitors the heart rate and temperature of patient's body. For example heart rate is measured through a Pulse sensor and Temperature sensor senses temperature and a transmitting module attached continuously transmits the encoded serial data using ADC. Here receiver unit is LCD display which is at patients place. Another receiving section can be a laptop, desktop or a mobile phone connected to internet. Receiver can be a doctor or patients near ones. A transmitter unit near patient sends the data through FPGA and wifi module connected to it receives and constantly updates in the server and continuously displays it on a User interface visible on PC/Laptop using IP address. Thus doctor or any person in charge can observe and monitor many patients at the same time. System also continuously monitors the patient(s) data and displays near patient and also updates in the server. Using the IP address of particular patient doctors can easily find out condition of patient. This technique offers a complete, low cost, powerful and user-friendly way of 24 hours real-time monitoring and remote sensing system. The main aim of this research is to highlight how the users can access the FPGA based design resources from anywhere

 Abstract

ABSTRACT Large quantities of natural materials are traditionally used in road construction. Concurrently the world faces the problem of management of an increasing quantity of waste, so that linking the two problems leads to a simple solution: a growing and more diverse application of waste materials in road building and other areas of civil engineering alike. Road pavement can be considered to be one of the fundamental elements of the transportation system. Significant amounts of bitumen and natural aggregates are used in the construction of asphalt concrete pavements. Waste materials whose application is possible in road construction are divided into three basic groups: re-usable construction materials, industry by-products and natural construction materials of a lower usability value. The first group includes the materials that were used one or more times, such as materials from unbound base courses (gravel, sand, and rock) and materials from bitumen and hydraulically bound layers. Slag is the group of industry by-products, whereas the group of natural construction materials with lower usability value is primarily represented by excavation materials.

 Abstract

Development of cloud and its related technology is developing rapidly, but still the demands from the mobile users are does not achieved and there are many challenges related to security, e.g., data security, data integrity. In this paper the proposed method aimed to solve this user needs by adding variant security to the user files and then the file is shared by the user to third party system or untrusted server, whenever the user wants the file it can be downloaded from the third party system or server and easily use the files which is uploaded by the user. This system takes the valuable data as the input and then applies the cryptographic algorithms such as AES, Blowfish, RC4 to secure the information and the algorithms are used in a random manner that means every time it changes its pattern for encryption and the pattern is again deployed by the system in reverse manner to recover the information. Compared to other data storage system, this system is a lightweight and provides deployable solution to the consumer in MCC with data integrity, data authentication, data privacy and flexible data sharing with access control. Finally we provide an efficient and easily deployable and reliable solution to the mobile user in mobile cloud computing.

 Abstract

The existence of current food ordering systems and the emergence of mobile devices enable a simple yet powerful infrastructure for business application. Some early efforts have been made to utilize both technologies in food ordering system implementations. However, the food ordering systems that have been proposed earlier exhibit limitations, primarily in cost effectiveness, allowing customizations, deliverables, real time location tracking and supporting feedback to customers. In this paper, we discuss the design and implementation of a customizable food ordering system with real-time location tracking for a restaurant. The application enables restaurant owners to setup the system and update menu presentations easily. Smart phone has been integrated to facilitate real-time communication between restaurant owners and customers. It will provide a more secure ordering. The purpose of online food and Tiffin ordering application is to automate the existing manual system by the help of computerized equipment and full-fledged computer software, fulfilling their requirements, so that their valuable data/information can be stored for a longer period with easy accessing and manipulation of the same. The required software and hardware are easily available and easy to work with. Basically the project describes how to manage for good performance and better services for the clients.

by using load balancing on the virtual machine it has an important effect on the performance in the cloud computing domain. Cloud computing becomes more efficient and improves user satisfaction by using good load balancing. A better load balancing model based on cloud segregation with switch mechanism concept to choose different plan for different situations .To improve the efficiency in the public cloud environment the algorithm applies the game theory to the load balancing strategy. Clouds can be classified as public, private or hybrid. Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a utility (like the electricity grid) over a network (typically the Internet). Cloud resources are usually not only shared by multiple users but are also dynamically reallocated per demand. This can work for allocating resources to users. This approach should maximize the use of computing power thus reducing environmental damage as well since less power, air conditioning, rack space, etc. are required for a variety of functions. With cloud computing, multiple users can access a single server to retrieve and update their data without purchasing licenses for different applications.

 Abstract

The primary reason to acquaint this paper is with increment mindfulness about shrewd water system and to give preventive measure on wastage of water, aggravation of power in conventional method for water system. In the present time, there is parcel of advances and framework, which are utilized for shrewd water system, yet a few frameworks are not conservative for little scale arrive holder. Along these lines, we can present our sun oriented based shrewd water system framework, which will be conservative for little scale and in addition substantial scale arrive holder. In our framework, the fundamental piece of this framework is microcontroller, which is consistently present in contact with all checking gadgets, for example, soil sensor, solenoid valve, and weight check. Soil sensor display in the dirt and profundity of this sensor is as per plant. It constantly sense water level in the dirt. At the point when lacking water level is available, at that point it sends flag to microcontroller. Microcontroller gives order to solenoid valve. As per summon solenoid valve play out the task open and close the valve itself. The issue happened because of expanding or diminishing of weight additionally lessens with weight check. To decrease human exertion. Entire framework is takes a shot at sun powered vitality; thus the framework is absolutely inexhaustible.

 Abstract

Porous concrete is the special type of concrete with high porosity used for concrete flat-work applications that allow water from precipitation and other sources to pass directly through, thereby reducing the runoff from a site and allowing ground water recharge. This porosity is attained by a highly inter connected void content. Typically, porous concrete has little or fine aggregate and has just enough cementing paste to coat the course aggregate particles while preserving the inter- connectivity of the voids. Porous concrete is an important application for the sustainable construction and one of many low impact development techniques used by builders to protect water quality.

 Abstract

In this paper, {n (sin ?x /?x)} filter of different percentages is investigated for noise removal. First the image is corrupted with noise of different standard deviation, and then sinc {n (sin ?x /?x)} filter of different percentages is applied on the corrupted image to suppress the noise. {n(sin ?x /?x)} filter find applications in satellite image data processing, color image processing, and multispectral biomedical image processing. In this paper, results are presented for the case of grey images. Experimental works confirm that that {n (sin ?x /?x)} filter achieves very good filtering results for various noises. Experiments conducted on remotely sensed satellite images shows, from careful visual analysis, that the {n (sin ?x /?x)} filters are able to remove noise. Here it is demonstrated that the {n (sin ?x /?x)} filter is both effective and efficient in a great variety of computer vision and computer graphics applications including noise reduction and detail enhancement.

 Abstract

This work is an experimental study on nano-crystalline Ag/FeOOH and Ag/Fe2O3 powder derived from the iron ore tailings. Iron ore tailings is a mineral waste contains 15- 20% Fe2O3 remaining mostly SiO2. Iron is extracted out as FeCl3 by hydrochloric acid digestion of iron ore tailings. The obtained aq. FeCl3 solution was precipitated as ferric hydroxide by using different reagents such as aq.NH4OH, aq. NaOH and Urea. Urea hydrolysis was carried out at 95 ?C while in other two cases heating was not employed. Each ferric hydroxide obtained by the above three methods was divided into two portions. One portion of it was directly used as support for silver nanoparticles to obtain Ag/FeOOH. The other portion of FeOOH was calcined at 550 ?C for 4 h to convert it into ferric oxide . These ferric oxides were then used as supports for silver nanoparticles to obtain Ag/Fe2O3. On observation, XRD pattern shows very broad diffraction peaks for the Ag/FeOOH samples and those peaks were identified for goethite phase. But Ag/Fe2O3 samples show very sharp diffraction peaks which were well matched with hematite phase. Raman Spectra of various Ag/FeOOH and Ag/Fe2O3 samples have shown very prominent Raman bands at various region between 200-1400 cm-1. These bands are identified for various modes of vibration for Fe-O. UV-visible (diffuse) spectra of Ag/FeOOH and Ag/Fe2O3 samples show two absorption bands appeared at the same position although the supports for silver were of two different kinds (FeOOH and Fe2O3). TEM picture of Ag/FeOOH and Ag/Fe2O3 samples prepared via urea hydrolysis show that silver nanoparticles are well dispersed/ supported on FeOOH and Fe2O3 matrix. The particle size of FeOOH is found to be 60-70 nm range whereas the particle size of silver nanoparticles supported on FeOOH is observed to be <10 nm. TEM image of Ag/Fe2O3 shows particle size of silver <10 nm and 90-100 nm for Fe2O3. TGA curve of uncalcined Ag/FeOOH prepared using sodium hydroxide shows weight loss at two stages; first stage is below 200 oC and second stage is between 400- 450 oC. They correspond to dehydration of physically adsorbed water molecule and dehydroxylation of FeOOH to form Fe2O3. The present work also showed that the obtained silver loaded ferric oxide hydroxide and ferric oxide possess antibacterial properties which can be exploited to kill bacterial growth in a given region.

 Abstract

Arms control is a term for international restrictions upon the development, production, stockpiling, proliferation and usage of small arms, conventional weapons, and weapons of mass destruction. Arms control is typically exercised through the use of diplomacy which seeks to impose such limitations upon consenting participants through international treaties and agreements, although it may also comprise efforts by a nation or group of nations to enforce limitations upon a non-consenting country. Disarmament is the act of reducing, limiting, or abolishing weapons. Disarmament generally refers to a country's military or specific type of weaponry. Disarmament is often taken to mean total elimination of weapons of mass destruction, such as nuclear arms. A global halt to nuclear weapons testing was first proposed in 1954 by Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru as a step toward ending the nuclear arms race and preventing nuclear proliferation. A ban on nuclear testing has been a key national security objective of the United States since the late-1950s, when President Dwight D. Eisenhower initiated U.S.-UK-USSR comprehensive test ban negotiations.
