Because of a substantial volume of commercial vehicles likely to use facility, the pavement structure has to receive careful consideration in design and choice of materials forming the pavement. Pavement costs constitute a significant proportion of total cost of highway facility. Hence, great care is needed in selecting right type of pavement and specification for the various courses that make up the pavement. The choice of pavement type, whether flexible or cement concrete, therefore, has to be very carefully exercised. Pavement associated traffic safety factors include skid resistance, drainability against hydroplaning, and night visibility. Cement concrete pavement has distinct initial advantage over bitumen pavement in this regard, as surface texturing forms integral part of the normal construction practice for such pavements. They also have superior night visibility by virtue of their lighter colour. Poorly designed and constructed concrete pavements are known to have very long service life. The cement concrete road constructed in the country in the past, though extremely limited in length, have an excellent service track, having given good service under condition much sever than those for which they are originally intended.

Sulphuric acid corrosion is challenging problem particularly in sewer environments. In many of the industries sulphuric acid is used during procedure, which can lead to decrease of strength of the concrete structures. Then, it is very important to construct durable concrete structures in such procedures. An experimental study was under taken to improve concrete resistance against sulphuric acid attack. Five concrete mixtures were used in the present project, first mix consists ordinary Portland cement (OPC) as a control mix and the second one consists 10% replacement of cement with silica fume. Third mix consists ordinary Portland cement with 10% ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) and forth mix consists OPC with 15% replacement of GGBS. Other mixes contain OPC with 10% and 15% replacement of volcanic ash. The thick packing of siliceous aggregates and cement materials were used to achieve the high density of concrete. In the present project, concrete cubes, cylinders and prism were immersed in 15% sulphuric acid with pH=1.0. They were tested for compression test up to 90 days. The strength of other mixtures was better than the control mixture in terms of compression strength.

Empirical methods enhance our observations and help us see more of the structure of the world. We are fundamentally empirical creatures, always asking that What is going on? Is it real or merely apparent? What causes it? Is there a better explanation? That is why empirical method is the best method of research because of the observations made by the researcher at various stages. Empirical methods cluster loosely into exploratory techniques for summarization and exploration. There are grey areas while doing empirical research like people do not give much time to the researcher, hard to gain the trust of the people, difficult to get information from the people, it is an expensive research also, no quality legal research education in law schools, lack of good research instructors, and lack of good questionnaires and interviews due to lack of technological knowledge and communication gap etc.Researcher in empirical research must have a kind of politeness so that he can easily mix up with the people to get the information So, we can do better empirical research by taking all the above stated points into consideration. Law schools must put emphasis to enhance the quality of empirical research because it is far better than the other researches because of its direct link with the society and at the end we can better understand the deficiencies prevalent in the different societal groups and eradication of all these and then we can say that it is a qualitative and improved research.

Current social, political and economic scenario at large is causing a serious challenge to the spirit of religious pluralism both at local and International level. The ongoing first quarter of 21st century is enriched with technological advancement and other positive transformation in almost every field however the present day world order continues to suffer from narrow minded practices of religious intolerance, religious terrorism, religious fundamentalism and many more such related issues. It is in this context that it is important to explore social and religious practices to ensure social harmony and to make global village free from theses evil. Sikh philosophy in general and particularly Sikhism as a modern religion has a vast potential to guide the humanity for peaceful co-existence in a multicultural society. Sikhism is living legacy of actually practicing and adopting high ideals mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib Je to enrich and promote spirit of religious pluralism worldwide.

A novel combination of film forming suspension based on Hibiscus rosa-sinensis leaf mucilage has been standardized. The film forming suspension was subjected to wet solvent processing method to prepare edible biodegradable films. The developed films were subjected to physico-chemical characterisation, microstructure and in vitro bioactivity studies. The prepared films showed ideal properties for most of them, including folding endurance, tensile strength, per cent elongation, water vapour barrier properties, light transmittance and moisture content. The films were found to be transparent which is best for product visibility. FTIR spectral studies indicated increased interactive stability in the mucilage based film. The film forming suspensions were also found to exhibit antibacterial activity. Thus, it could be concluded that the developed films have ideal properties to be used as a potential packaging material in the postharvest preservation of fruits and vegetables.

wi-fi Sensor Networks (WSNs) are playing an increasing number of a key role in several utility situations such as health care, agriculture, environment monitoring, and smart metering. Furthermore, WSNs are characterised by excessive heterogeneity because there are numerous one-of-a-kind proprietary and non-proprietary solutions. This wide variety of technology has not on time new deployments and integration with existing sensor networks. The current trend, however, is to transport far from proprietary and closed requirements, to embrace IP based totally sensor networks the use of the emerging well known 6LoWPAN/IPv6. This permits local connectivity between WSN and internet, allowing smart gadgets to take part to the internet of things (IoT). building an all-IP infrastructure from scratch, but, could be difficult due to the fact many extraordinary sensors and actuators technology (each wired and wireless) have already been deployed through the years. After a evaluate of the nation of the artwork, this paper sketches a framework capable of harmonize legacy and new installations, allowing migrating to an all-IP surroundings at a later level. The constructing Automation use case has been selected to talk about potential benefits of the proposed framework.

The aim of this project is to replace cement with PROSOPIS JULIFLORA ash in paver block. An experimental study of paver block made with ordinary Portland cement (OPC) partially replaced by Prosopis juliflora ash from 0% to 40% for paver block. To determine the effect of this materials on paver block properties and compared to control M20 mix. As the Prosopis juliflora ash is very fine in structure, Super plasticizer is used as an admixture which is divided by weight of cement constantly in the production of concrete mixture. The function of the admixture is to reduce the water cement ratio and enhance workability. The paver blocks are cast by the appropriate mix design and allowed for curing .After the curing process, the paver blocks are tested for compressive strength of its own at 7 days and 28 days. Then the tested samples are undergone for SEM analysis.

The study has been undertaken to investigate the difference in the sensory characteristics of non-dairy yoghurt prepared by combining soymilk and peanut milk in the ratios 80:20, 60:40, 40:60 and 20:80 respectively, along with finger millet flour @ 5, 10, 15 percent and banana pulp @ 20, 30 and 40 percent. The sensory evaluation was done by the panel of 5 trained judges based on the hedonic scale rating to judge the acceptability of the developed product. Firstly, the sensory evaluation of non-dairy yoghurt (without banana pulp) was done by taking plain yoghurt as control and on the basis of that judgment four best samples were chosen which were further used for the sensory evaluation of the non-dairy yoghurt (with banana pulp) by mixing it with different percentage of banana pulp. From the result, it can be concluded that the non-dairy yoghurt prepared by combining 60:40 soymilk and peanut milk, 15 percent finger millet flour and 40 percent banana pulp was found to have the highest sensory score when compared to other treatments.

In this paper, we are hoping to prepare a Reactive Powder Concrete using locally available Industrial Waste materials like Fly Ash, Silica Fume and Quarry Dust. Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) is an Ultra High Performance concrete which has very low water per cement ratio and has no coarse aggregate. Steel Fibers are incorporated in RPC to enhance the tensile properties of the concrete. Reactive Powder Concrete is a revolutionary material that provides a combination of ultra- high strength and excellent durability. The usage of Industrial Wastes helps to reduce the impact on the environment due to waste materials.

The ATV has higher torque requirements due to the terrains it has to traverse on and also special circumstances and necessities. Hence the assembly of rear braking system is complicated and costlier too. It has to also take into consideration the rear transmission system for a rear wheel drive vehicle which is the case in most ATVs available in the market. Use of 2 Disc brakes, 2 Calipers and mounting of both on the hub assembly becomes costly. Also, the use of 2 calipers requires 2 separate fluid lines for hydraulic brakes for proper application of brakes which makes the linings assembly more complex and tedious, and may also entangle. The Brake Disc and Calipers are moderately heavy in the rear assembly and hence increase the sprung weight of the vehicle. The Main objective of my project is to provide the reduction in gear ratio which meets the torque requirements for the ATV and also implement inboard braking system for the rear compartment. This will enable the ATV to perform better as per its necessity by utilizing the engine brake power more efficiently. Also using inboard braking system in the rear due to spool drive, i.e. a common axle connecting both the wheel assembly for power transmission from the drive train.
