Image restoration is the process of reconstruction of the original image from the observed degraded image. Blind image restoration, that restores a clear ideal image from a single blur image, is the ill-posed problem of finding two unknowns, the point spread function (PSF) and the ideal image. Different methods of blind image restoration, which iteratively approximate the PSF, their performance is sufficiently dependent on the precision of that estimate. When we restore a degraded image, if the blur function is unknown, it is necessary to estimate the PSF and the ideal image by using an input image. A method of alternately repeating PSF and ideal image estimations produces good results. In order to improve the quality of the restored image, a blind deconvolution method is proposed by estimating the blur function of the imaging model. This method is used for PSF estimation. In addition, we propose to use a filter for removing noise.

The Selective Laser Melting process is one of the major powder bed processes for additive manufacturing. Laser based processes are finding more attention of researchers and industrial world due to capability to build any complex geometry. Quality of SLM fabricated part is one of the major challenges to implement as full fledges commercial technology. Present study involves investigations of influence of process parameters on surface roughness of selective laser melted Inconel 718 super alloy. The objective of the study was to optimize process parameters namely laser power, scanning speed, and layer thickness and build orientation. In this work, the experiments were carried out as per the Taguchi experimental design and an L16 orthogonal array was implemented to study the influence of various combinations of process parameters .Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed to determine the significance of each process parameters on response. Results indicate that the most significant factor influencing surface roughness is layer thickness followed by orientation, power and scan speed. The work is useful in selecting optimal process parameters that would minimize the surface roughness and to obtain improved quality with minimal post processing requirements.

The selection of optimal route from source node to destination node that guarantees a high end-to-end throughput, is the main issue of routing in multi hop wireless network especially in a multi objective and heterogeneous scenario. As the environment is heterogeneous and various parameters affect the system performance in varying scale, the issue seems to be much complex, most of the solutions end with local optimum because those algorithms mostly fail to ensure not only end to end throughput, but also other parameters of routing like delay, congestion control, energy of nodes etc. By considering spatial re-usability of wireless networks, all these parameters of wireless multi hop remote systems can be enhanced significantly. To achieve the expected performance, Spatial-re-usability Aware Single-path Routing (SASR) algorithm is proposed and to analyze the performance the same is compared with existing single path routing protocol. Assessment shows that proposed protocol shows significant improvement in comparison with existing protocols.

Li-Fi stands for Light-Fidelity. The technology is very new and was proposed by the German physicist Harald Haas in 2011. Li-Fi provides transmission of data through illumination by sending data through an LED light bulb that varies in intensity faster than human eye can follow. In this paper, discuss the technology in detail and a method is proposed to reduce noise from received data. Li-Fi is ideal for high density wireless data coverage in confined areas where there are no obstacles. Li-Fi is a wireless optical networking technology that uses light emitting diodes (LEDs) for transmission of data. The term Li-Fi refers to visible light communication (VLC) technology that uses as medium to deliver high-speed communication in a manner similar to Wi-Fi. Li-Fi provides better bandwidth, efficiency, availability and security than Wi-Fi and has already achieved high speeds in the lab. In the present paper the authors will give a detailed study on Li-Fi technology, and method to achieve accuracy. The experimental result shows that the proposed technique efficiently detects the noise and de-noising purpose is achieved.

Abstract In these paper, we discuss and study about the placement of one of the most versatile flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTS) device which is unified power flow controller (UPFC). By using unified power flow controller we can control all power system parameters individually or simultaneously. But without placing these device in its critical position it is impossible to get a better power flow improvement. The purpose of this paper is to present a comprehensive survey of UPFC controller incorporated in load flow analysis for optimal power flow control. We also discuss different optimization techniques for the optimal placement.

An analysis is performed to study the effect of thermal radiation and viscous dissipation on unsteady flow past an oscillating infinite vertical plate through porous medium with variable temperature, heat and mass transfer. The non- linear, coupled partial differential equations together with boundary condition are reduced to dimensionless form. The governing equations are solved using perturbation method. The results are obtained for Velocity, Temperature, and Concentration profiles for different physical parameters like Phase angle, Thermal Grashof number, Modified Grashof number, Permeability parameter, Eckert number, Prandtl number, Schmidt number and time. It is observed that heat and mass transfer, viscous dissipation and porous medium affect the flow pattern significantly.

The paper proposes an efficient implementation for IoT (Internet of Things) used for monitoring and controlling the home appliances via World Wide Web. Automation system uses the portable devices as a user interface. They can communicate with the network through an Internet gateway, by means of low power communication protocols like Zigbee, Wi-Fi, GSM etc. This paper aims at controlling appliances using Wi-Fi as a communication protocol and MSP430 controller as server system. The user here will move directly with the system through a web-based interface over the web, whereas appliances are remotely controlled through website. The server will be interfaced with relay hardware circuits that control the appliances running. The communication with server allows the user to select the appropriate device. The server communicates with the corresponding relays. If the web affiliation is down or the server isn't up, the embedded system board still will manage and operate the appliances domestically. By this we provide a climbable and price effective Automation system.
