As a result of growing civilization and industrialization, water demand has been increased enormously. The water demand in future cannot be met if we rely only on fresh water sources. 80% of the generated wastewater meets the natural streams without any treatment, which create hazard to the ecosystem. A sewage treatment plant not only treats the wastewater, it can also make the treated wastewater available for reuse, giving it an advance tertiary treatment. STP contains various units performing complex operations. It is certainly important to understand the operational conditions and flow pattern to design a most efficient and economical plant. In this paper an attempt has been made to study various units and their operations in a sewage treatment plant.

The Internet of Things (IoT) makes smart cities feasible all around the world. Smart homes, smart farming, smart climate, smart wellness, smart governance, and many more types of smart communities are all possible in today's world. The Internet of Things is also utilized in the petroleum, gas mining, and industrial industries. In the human world, IOT increases efficiency, optimizes pricing, optimizes human capital, retains forecasts, and adds a great deal of convenience to daily activities. With the participation of a huge number of different devices and the processing of enormous amounts of data, security concerns are becoming more prevalent. The lack of success of the Internet of Things is mostly due to security and privacy concerns. One of the most serious dangers is the possibility of a distributed denial of service (DDOS) assault. This study discusses the application of blockchain-based techniques to prevent distributed denial of service (DDOS) attacks in the internet of things. It gives a thorough examination of the existing blockchain-based architectures for dealing with distributed denial of service (DDOS) assaults.

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and hypertension are the major contributors to the total burden of worldwide diseases. In around 32-87% of cases, patients are found to have both these diseases as a comorbid condition. Managing diabetes mellitus accompanied by hypertension is done by controlling blood glucose levels and blood pressure with antidiabetic and antihypertensive drugs respectively with their simultaneous consumption. Selection of the most accurate drugs and their effective concentration is a key for successful treatment in such patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus due to its low dose and high selectivity. Telmisartan is one of the first-line drugs given in mild-to-moderate hypertension with a relative safety profile. The ability of Empagliflozin to cause a reduction in blood pressure necessitates monitoring of its concentration in patients consuming simultaneously an antihypertensive drug-like Telmisartan. The proposed method is an attempt to develop a high-performance thin-layer chromatographic bioanalytical method for simultaneous estimation of Empagliflozin and Telmisartan in human plasma. Chromatographic separation of drugs was performed over HPTLC plates pre-coated with silica gel 60 F254 using Chloroform: Methanol: Toluene: Formic acid (8:2:4:0.1 v/v/v/v) as the mobile phase via a linear ascending technique. Detection and quantification were performed at a wavelength of 235 nm. The method was validated according to the European Medicines Agency guidelines for the bioanalytical method and gave satisfactory results. The developed method will be significant in the pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic studies of the two drugs.

The innumerable sculptures of musical instruments depicted on the walls of temples from 6th century AD to 13th century AD testify to the glorious tradition of music and its patronage by successive kingdom in Odisha. The antiquity of Odissi music is traced through historical evidence, i.e., the dramaturgical treatise Natyashastra (c. 200 BCE to 200 CE); sculptural, architectural, and inscriptional evidence beginning in the 2nd century BC, and found in such places as Puri, Konark, and Bhubaneswar; the 12th-century song-cycle Gitagovinda of Jayadeva; various regional treatises on music and dance written in Sanskrit, beginning most substantially perhaps with the sixteenth-century Gita Prakasha. The Odissi music was born out of a cultural synthesis of several musical traditions: Jaga Akhadas of Puri district, Pala in coastal districts, Giti Natya (Musical Drama), Daskathia*, etc. as various folk traditions prevalent in the region. All these forms of music had a tradition of thousands years.

Solid waste management encompasses the processes and actions necessary to effectively manage waste from inception to disposal. In this regard, this study observed and analyzed occupational health problems among GVMC solid waste collection workers. Numerous concerns have been expressed about waste's potential harm to the environment and the general public, but the risks and associated costs of occupational health problems in solid waste collection have received scant attention in the rush to adopt or adapt technologies such as composting. This study employs a mixed-methods approach that triangulates qualitative and quantitative research paradigms. The quantitative design examines the health problems of solid waste collectors through material component separation and measurements, as well as a questionnaire survey that elicits information about waste collection risks. The qualitative component of the study consists of interviews, open-ended questionnaires, and satisfaction ratings with the safety measures observed during waste collection observations. Occupational health problems occur at every stage of the municipal waste management process, from the time workers collect or recycle waste in the streets, bins, or dumping yards to the point of ultimate disposal. The study's key findings revealed that manual handling tasks dominate solid waste collection practices, resulting in a higher incidence of health problems such as musculoskeletal pain (low back pain, elbow pain, wrist pain, etc.), respiratory problems (cough, phlegm, asphyxiation, wheezing, etc.), headaches, skin problems (itching, rashes, etc.), and gastro-intestinal problems (nausea, diarrhea, etc.). Additionally, the majority of employees are satisfied with the GVMC's safety measures, which are unrelated to waste management.

This study investigated the print media reportage on public fashion art education in Ghana and it was conducted on print media, (newspaper): the daily graphic newspaper. The year under review of this paper is 2018. The study highlighted the tone and frame used by writers to define fashion art to understand the information put across in the newspaper. The study adopted the qualitative research method which employed the descriptive and analytical design using instruments such as content, text and context analysis. The study was centred mainly on the Ghanaian Daily Graphic newspaper. The findings of the study on daily graphic revealed that less attention has been given to fashion and creative arts in the Ghanaian print media domain, as compared to other disciplines and publications such as sports, politics and business news. It is therefore important for fashion stakeholder to understand how the media works, the frames that the media uses to communicate, the sources which influence how stories are framed, and the amount of space allotted to fashion topics so that fashion organization will able to develop plans that allow for maximum coverage. The findings are generalized to print media though there may be limitations due to only one print media the daily graphic newspaper used as a case study.

Big data systems are stable enough to store and handle large amounts of constantly changing data. Big data systems, on the other hand, are made up of large-scale hardware resources, making their subspecies prone to failure. The fundamental feature of such systems is fault tolerance, which ensures availability, reliability, and consistent performance even when there are defects. It's difficult to implement an effective fault tolerance solution in a large data system because fault tolerance must adhere to certain performance and resource restrictions. This research seeks to give a uniform understanding of fault tolerance in large data systems and to highlight typical roadblocks to fault tolerance efficiency enhancement. Previous research's fault tolerance solutions are examined to meet the stated difficulties. The report also includes a thoughtful assessment of prior research' conclusions, as well as a list of future options for addressing fault tolerance issues.

Nineteen isolates of rhizobacteria associated with murraya koenigii, collected from various locations in Dehradun, were screened for phosphate solubiliza- tion and indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) production. Two potential phosphate-solubilizing bacterial isolates with substantial IAA biosynthesis capacity, Ps-5 and Ss-2, were selected for further study. Based on 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis, isolate Ps- 5 was identified as Bacillus sp. and Ss-2 as Alcaligenes faecalis. Both strains were found to be metabolically diverse in terms of the number and amount of different carbon sub- strates they utilized in the BIOLOG GN2/GP2 microplate assay. High-performance liquid chromatography analysis of the culture supernatant confirmed that Bacillus sp. Ps-5 pro- duced considerable amounts of both lactic and tartaric acids, while A. faecalis Ss-2 secreted only lactic acid. There was a strong positive correlation between phosphate solubilization and organic acid production by both strains. Following inoc- ulation, strain Ps-5 and Ss-2 were found to be good root colonizers and significantly (P?0.05) increased murraya koenigii growth and phosphorus (P) uptake. However, inoculation had a non-significant (P ?0.05) effect on murraya koenigii yield parameters, including oil contents. Based on these results, we conclude that Ps-5 and Ss-2 are potent plant growth- promoting rhizobacteria strains with the ability to supplement the P requirements of murraya koenigii crops. Further field inoculation studies are needed before these strains can be recommended as bio-inoculants. To the best of our knowledge, this is first report on the association and phytobeneficial potential of A. faecalis with murraya koenigii.

ABSTRACT A novel corona virus SARS-CoV-2 has led to an outbreak of the highly infectious pan demic COVID-19 complicated viral pneumonia. Patients with risk factors frequently develop secondary infections where the role of appropriate antibiotics is mandatory. However, the efforts of drug repurposing lead to recognizing the role of certain antibiotics beyond the management of infection. The current review provided the detailed antiviral, immunomodulatory effect, unique pharmacokinetic profile of two antibiotics namely azithromycin and doxycycline. It summarizes current clinical trials and concerns regarding safety issues of these drugs. Azithromycin has excellent lung tissue penetration, broad antibacterial effectiveness, and potential antiviral activity against COVID-19. In limited clinical trials, it also showed efficacy when paired with other antiviral medications, however many clinicians are concerned about cardiovascular risk in susceptible patients. Doxycycline plays an important role in the treatment of pneumonia. It has a number of advantages, including cardiac safety, easy access to lung tissue, antiviral potential, and immunomodulation effects through a variety of routes. The pharmacological characteristics of these medicines raise the possibility of additional research into their use in the treatment of COVID-19. COVID-19 infection, which has no renowned cures or treatments, has wreaked havoc on humanity and has gone beyond precedent. Currently, the only therapeutic option for controlling COVID-19 symptoms and associated co-infections in order to reduce mortality is to repurpose existing medications. Antimicrobials such as anti - parasitic, antiviral, and antibiotics are being evaluated at various levels. Topics covered include: Doxycycline, a broad-spectrum antibiotic with antiviral and anti-inflammatory effects, was recently repurposed for COVID-19 treatment after extensive research in clinical trials, either alone or in combination with other medications. The potential therapeutic applications of Doxycycline in COVID-19 treatment, or its potential negative consequences in terms of antimicrobial resistance conferred by repurposing the antibiotic, are discussed in the review. Background Azithromycin's antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral characteristics suggest that it could be used to treat COVID-19. There are no randomise data in mild-to-moderate disease. We wanted to see if azithromycin may help people with mild-to-moderate infections avoid hospitalisation. COVID-19. Covid is 19 years old.
