Abstract : -This article presents an enhanced method of creation of Dem & its various mode like Slope, Aspect, Hill shade, etc using satellite data of SRTM. DEM is used to know the elevation profile of any point. DEM is used in preparation of relief map, survey of remote areas. It can be used for modelling of water flow for hydrology, Extraction of terrain parameters, base mapping, etc. DEM of Uttarkashi is extracted using SRTM data by using QGIS software tool. SAGA GIS Software tool is also used to create slope aspect and hill shade of Uttarkashi district. Profile tool in QGIS is used to know the elevation profile of the area across a straight line in the shape file.

Our mind is our own world. It brings heaven or hell. We have free will to opt for better one. Various factors including health care, hygiene, diet, nutrition, exercises and genetics determine the individual longevity. Since the time we started shifting our thought pattern and belief system we generates illness, scarcity, poverty, and all sufferings. The negative thoughts, feelings, beliefs, habits which we have inherited over thousands of years reduced our life expectancy to somewhere around 60 years. The real beauty of old age is that is a boon to every human being as it is the indication of maturity, knowledge and wisdom. The vast experience and maturity bring respect from every corner. An attempt has been made in this study to understand the thought patterns of older adults. The sample consists of 40 older adults (20 males and 20 females) of 60-75 years of age. The data was collected through case study method. The findings indicated that there is strong connection between thought patterns and individual longevity and emphasized the need for positive attitude, realistic perspective and the ability to adapt to change. General physical health and wellness were frequently mentioned, with mixed opinions on their necessity for successful aging. Finally, a sense of engagement, feeling of purpose of life and being useful to others and to society was considered prominent aspect of successful aging. . Therefore if we change our thought pattern by reprogramming our subconscious mind, we can bring prosperity in our life.

Change is inevitable and the disadvantages that advancement in technology poses cannot be avoided. The fact is that the criminals have changed their methods and have started relying on the information technology, and in order to deal with them the society, the legislative, and the judiciary, the private corporations and public organizations will also have to change their defences to combat cyber terrorism and warfare. Further cyber and techno-experts must not only be assiduous in the field of cyber space and information technology, but must also be provided with necessary technical hardwares and softwares so that they can efficiently fight the cyber criminals. Hence, appropriate facilities must be established in different parts of the country so that crime in the virtual world can be controlled. Another aspect which needs to be brought into limelight is that a culture of continuous cyber education and learning needs to be inculcated amongst the law adjudicating and law enforcing authorities, because the sphere of information technology is quite dynamic as the knowledge of present day becomes obsolete in a very short time. Lastly, the preamble of the Information Technology Act, 2000 states that the Act was passed with the objective to give legal recognition for transactions carried out by means of electronic data exchange and other means of e-commerce, further the Act strived to make amendments to the Indian Penal Code 1860, Indian Evidence Act 1872, The Bankers Books of Evidence Act 1891, and the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 for enhancing legal recognition and regulation of the commercial activities. Though the objective of the Act is not to diminish criminal activity, but this Act has defined certain offences and penalties to overpower such omissions, which is understood to come within the circumference of cyber-crimes. From this, it can be concluded that the laws cannot afford to be static, they have to be changed with the changing times and viz. cyber space. This is all the more required, that many applications of the technology can be used for the advantage of the mankind, similarly it is equally true that such applications can also be used for the disadvantage of the mankind as has been demonstrated by the Spy-cam case. The moral here is that the law should be made dynamic so that it can easily adjust to the needs of the times and with the technological developments.

This paper reviews various techniques involved in the compression of a digital video sequence. In order to ensure compatibility among video codec from different manufacturers and applications, efforts have been taken to define a video sequence. The data quantity of a video is very large and storage is insufficient for the transmission on a spectrum. So, this is practically not possible to store a video without processing. For this reason, Video compression standard and techniques had been developed to reduce the data quality and increase the picture quality of a digital video. Various video compression techniques are MPEG standards, H.261, H.263, H.264 and also new developing standard H.265.In this paper we are going to survey on different video standards and differences between them like calculating compression ratio, bit error rate, picture quality etc.

In this paper, a novel algorithm of mine student attendance from relational database is proposed. First, design a particular structure including many indexes to save attendance details of student from different classes, which makes time of finding total number of short listed student decrease. Basing on statistic idea, the algorithm saves all frequent short listed student. Compared with some traditional algorithms of mining attendance list, the algorithm presented in this paper has better executive efficiency and expansibility, which is proved in our experiment and also generating automatic message to their parents for improving performance

Alternative energy refers to renewable sources of energy. These alternatives are intended to address the serious concerns about such fossil fuels: the high carbon dioxide emission, an important factor in global warming. Also, these energy sources are non- renewable. The escalating consumption of fossil fuels has led to destructive depletion and mercurial rise in their prices. This has led to huge increase in cost of operations of Defence establishments. This paper attempts to search for opportunities for employment of alternative sources of energy in Defence which is more efficient and cost effective and thereby giving less pressure on conventional exhaustive sources and follow Green planet theme.

Location-based services are rapidly becoming extremely popular. In addition to services based on users' current location, many potential services rely on users' location history, or their spatial-temporal provenance. Malicious users may lie about their spatial-temporal provenance without a carefully designed security system for users to prove their past locations. In this paper, we present the Spatial-Temporal provenance Assurance with Mutual Proofs (STAMP) scheme. STAMP is designed for ad-hoc mobile users generating location proofs for each other in a distributed setting. However, it can easily accommodate trusted mobile users and wireless access points. STAMP ensures the integrity and non-transferability of the location proofs and protects users' privacy. A semi-trusted Certification Authority is used to distribute cryptographic keys as well as guard users against collusion by a light-weight entropy-based trust evaluation approach. Our prototype implementation on the Android platform shows that STAMP is low-cost in terms of computational and storage resources. Extensive simulation experiments show that our entropy-based trust model is able to achieve high (>0.9) collusion detection accuracy.

The aim of this study was detect out the effect of gender and age on ethnocentric tendencies of Indian consumers. For that, we have used CETSCALE. Before the CETSCALE can be applied as a criterion of consumer ethnocentrism in an Indian context, it is necessary to evaluate its reliability. This study concludes that gender does not have any impact on ethnocentric tendency of Indian Consumer. In the age and ethnocentrism tendency shows the same relationship which is stated in the literature. As an Indian consumer gets older, he/she becomes more ethnocentric.

With a jump in the Indian economy from a manufacturing sector to a service sector, banking as a whole is undergoing a change. A larger choice for the consumer is getting translated into a bigger requirement for financial products and customization of services is fast taking the average than a competitive advantage. This survey was carried out in the major city of the Gujarat. Customers of the different banks were taken as the sample unit. The study revealed that most of the people invest their money in the public sector banks. The study also found that many people faced problem while applied for the loan. And their main problem was very tedious documentation problem. This research also found that most of the people believe that in public sector bank there were speedier and convenient operations performed. It was also found that most of the people used the ATM/DEBIT card and they mostly used it for withdrawal.
