There are many new trends and developments in the humanities and literature. Indian English Literature is not the exception to this. There are many new literary movements in Indian English Fiction. We have a gallery of writers who are writing, translating and transcribing into English. Creativity, translation, transcription, Dalit Literature, Diasporic writing, postcolonial writing, postmodern and feministic writings are emerging speedily in Indian English Fiction. Today, we can find a lot of technocrats, management professionals especially from abroad making bestsellers in India. The credits can be given both to marketing skills and creative writing skills. The social networking Medias are also helping in marketing. Many authors like Chetan Bhagat, Shobha De, Anita Desai, Kiran Desai have Facebook fan pages and the writers are also active in Twitter and Blog. This helps them to know more about the wants of the audience and helps indirect interaction. Even books are available on e-reading. Many authors publish excerpts of their books online for encouraging sales. Today, the habit of reading is decreasing. So the writers have got to keep up more to the tastes of audience and their fast paced lives. The audience needs maximum entertainment in minimum time and effort. However, the Indian English popular fiction portrays the tastes of Indian writers and hence can be analyzed as a cultural study material.

To maintain voltage stability of a power system, STATCOM is better solution which can provide the required amount of reactive power under various power system disturbances. This paper proposes a solution to enhance the performance of the STATCOM by adding supercapacitor which is a energy storage device to DC link of the conventional STATCOM. With the fast charge or discharge characteristics of the supercapacitor, the enhanced STATCOM can absorb and eject real and reactive power to the AC Power Grid instantaneously. In addition, this paper also proposes that the enhanced STATCOM can be applied to reduce instability and tripping due to the Rate of Change of Frequency (RCF) protection devices caused by large load impact. The amount of the energy required for the enhanced STATCOM to maintain the stability of the system is also discussed. In this paper, Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) with energy storage system for wind power application has been implemented. This device was proposed to improve voltage stability and power transmission by offering reactive as well as active power compensation. The energy storage system used for this application was designed and simulation results were discussed. For active compensation for wind power, a bank of Super Capacitors for Energy Storage System(SCESS) was used. The super capacitor bank size was designed and used, based upon the short term fluctuations in wind power. These fluctuations are results of constructional factors of the turbines, variation and turbulence in the wind. A super capacitor bank was interface with the DC bus of the STATCOM with the normal half bridge boost converter, to convert voltage level of the bank while maintaining a constant DC bus voltage for good switching operation in the VSC

High rise structures are buildings that have to be constructed using particular methods and techniques as various factors from the load of the building to the finishing required is quite different from other buildings. Delay or time overrun will affect all parties involved in the project. It will affect the profits which would be obtained if the project can be completed on the schedule. But due to the time overrun, contractors had to spend more money on labor, plant and may lose the opportunity to get the next project. Hence, effective time management is very important and crucial to achieve successful completion of construction projects. Hence, there are numerous time management techniques and software packages used for construction of high rise buildings worldwide. Each of the techniques has different functions and process in providing a list of dates on which certain item s are to be completed. The main controllable causes of the projects time and cost overruns include formulation, Planning and Contract administration failures. A section explaining all the related techniques or methods and available software packages used for time management are in capture. A designed model was used on an Industrialized Building System (IBS) components or products (off-site) other than the conventional method usually adapted in-situ method, Microsoft project was used for the analysis were constructability check was done and work breakdown structures were also adopted which basically analyzed improvement involving reducing the production time, identifying and eliminating unnecessary wet works, which is can optimize production line according to a specific layout. Findings from the research revealed labour productivity must be given extreme importance in calculating activity duration and for its improvement, The relationship between the tasks should be identified by defining the predecessor/successor relationship between activities and the constraints and understanding the techniques involved in scheduling, Identifying the possible cause of delay and a quick solution should be anticipated in event of occurrence.

India is one of the major countries facing vehicle pollution problems and spending most of its foreign currency on import of diesel products. In 1973, the oil crisis was started and depletion of ozone layer emphasized the necessity of alternative fuels. The Diesel Engines are dominating in transportation and agricultural machinery due to its fuel economy and cost effectiveness. The recent survey reveals that the diesel fuel consumption is several times higher than that of gasoline fuel. The Experimentation is going on jatropha oil and its blends with diesel which reduces the imports of petroleum products and expenditure of foreign currency. The direct use of these oils without any modification in diesel engines leads to poor performance and causes key damages on the parts of the engine. The Jathropa oil and vegetable biodiesel were blended with petroleum diesel in various proportions to evaluate and compared the performance and emission characteristics of a single cylinder direct injection constant speed diesel engine. The Diesel and Jathropa oil and vegetable biodiesel (10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 60%) fuel blends were used to conduct engine performance and emission tests at varying loads. In this research work, the Jatropha and Diesel were tested in a single cylinder four stroke diesel engine and compared the results. The fire point of jatropha oil is more than that of diesel so this is very safe for transportation and storage and also the performance of engine with Jatropha oil is almost similar to that of diesel oil.

An efficient in vitro callus induction protocol was developed for the first time in Gymnema hirsutum Wight & Arn . which is a potent antidiabetic plant.shoot tips and nodal explants were inoculated on MS medium fortified with auxins (2,4-D and NAA) and cytokinins (kinetin) different concentrations ranging from 1.0 to5.0 mg/l in alone or in combinations for rapid callus induction. Callus was obtained in both explants in all the concentrations. These explants failed to produce callus on MS medium without growth regulators. The highest callus induction , light/dark green with campact/friable nature and growth rate (fresh and dry weights) was observed on MS media containing 2,4-D(3.0mg/l) + NAA(1.0 mg/l) followed by 2,4-D and NAA at 3.0 mg/l. but kinetin is less effective for callus induction than the 2,4-D and NAA . The higher concentrations of 2,4-D (4.0 and 5.0 mg/l) callus was turned to brown colour and necrotic . It is concluded that, in addition to the plant material, callus may also used as a supplement raw material to obtain secondary metabolites for the pharmaceutical industry.
