The objective of the present research work is to study the effect of nano carbon black on the mechanical performance and microstructure behaviour of concrete. Cement the main compound of concrete was replaced with nano carbon black by 5%, 10% and 15% against normal concrete mix. The concrete mixes were prepared and cubes were casted. The cubes were tested after 7, 14 and 28 days curing for compressive strength test and a remarkable increase in the value of compressive strength was observed in replacement with 15% nano carbon black sample. From Scanning Electron Microscopic analysis it was observed that additional growth of C-S-H gel is due to the reaction of Ca (OH) 2 with nano carbon black. Also evenly formation of niddle like structure and reduction in porosity leads to improve mechanical properties of 15% concrete sample.

However, the current generation of Gravitational wave observatories has some of the most sensitive detector devices on the earth but still lacks in proper detection of gravitational waves. So this paper provides the new idea to enhance the detecting ability of signals by available detectors. This can be achieved by quelling quantum noise. Hence this paper mainly focuses on making the quantum noises aphonic with the application of nanotechnology. This can be done by fabricating sensors from graphene. This should definitely quench the undesirable noises and further increase the sensitivity of present gravitational wave detectors.

Abstract: Construction industry has been developing rapidly throughout the world. The development has led to serious problem in generation of construction wastes in many developing countries and expectation of the natural resources to large extend. The construction wastes have greater impact to environment, economy and social of each world country. However, this environmental problem may be minimized by introducing a systematic planning and management of construction wastes. This construction industry is an industry, which is involved in the planning, execution, evaluation, controlling and monitoring of all types of civil works. Physical infrastructures such as buildings, communication & energy related construction works, water supply & sewerage civil works etc. are some of the major projects or program in the construction industry. This construction industry consume substantial amount of raw materials in the process and the output is obviously the product and most importantly the waste material in construction project. So this study is focuses to determine the use of waste minimization technique in creating sustainable waste management in order to identify the technique which has the most capabilities to reduce waste on-site. Effective site management is increasingly recognized as the strategic approach for achieving the required performance in construction projects. This is due to the understanding that effective site management is a key requisite for achieving key project performance indicators such as time, cost, quality, and waste and safety target, among others.

An electric vehicle (EV), also called an electric drive vehicle, uses one or more electric motors or traction motors for propulsion. An electric vehicle may be powered through a collector system by electricity from off-vehicle sources, or may be self-contained with a battery, solar panels or an electric generator to convert fuel to electricity. EVs include road and rail vehicles, surface and underwater vessels, electric aircraft and electric spacecraft. EVs first came into existence in the mid-19th century, when electricity was among the preferred methods for motor vehicle propulsion, providing a level of comfort and ease of operation that could not be achieved by the gasoline cars of the time. Modern internal combustion engines have been the dominant propulsion method for motor vehicles for almost 100 years, but electric power has remained commonplace in other vehicle types, such as trains and smaller vehicles of all types. In the 21st century, EVs saw a resurgence due to technological developments and an increased focus on renewable energy. Government incentives to increase adoptions were introduced, including in the India, United States and the European Union. In this paper we have reviewed various research reports in the developments of the components of the Electrical Vehicle in order to provide a solution wherein key developments have been integrated as well as DC/DC converter design and Separate Controller have been proposed to develop optimally efficient Electrical Vehicle.

In this paper a closed loop control of synchronous buck converter with zero voltage transition (ZVT) and zero current transition (ZCT) is proposed using pulse with modulation technique. This converter is best suited for low voltage and high current applications. In this the switching is done by zero voltage switching and an auxiliary circuit is proposed to reduce the stress and improves the efficiency by reducing the conduction and switching losses of the converter. The switching frequency is increased due to the low values of resonant components used in this multiphase synchronous buck converter. The output voltage and current of the proposed converter are verified with MATLAB/SIMULINK and the experimental results have been obtained.

In the field of Structural engineering, structural analysis and design of high rise buildings are predominant in finding out significant threats to improve the integrity and stability of the structure. When Multi storied structures are designed, they are made to fulfil the basic aspects, requirements and serviceability. Since the stability of the structure depends on loads acting on the structure, so it is required to pay attention over the analysis of the various loads such as dead load, imposed load, Wind load and seismic load. For simple structures analysis and design of structure can be done easily but in case of multi-storey structure, it is cumbersome to calculate the various loads manually. Hence it is a challenge to calculate the structural loads for a structural engineer. The problems faced by structural engineers were taken as opportunities for the development of software such as STAAD PRO with ease in analysis and designing of the structure. STAAD PRO is leading structural analysis and designing software worldwide. The design results using STAAD PRO of a framed RCC structure, for both regular and irregular plan configuration, are used. RCC framed structures are most commonly adopted a structure in the city of India. Such types of structures are affected due to various types of forces acting during their service life, such as static forces due to dead and live loads and dynamic forces due to the wind and seismic loads. This study presents a review of the previous work done on multistoried buildings about various loads analysis. The aim of the study is to focus on the static and dynamic behaviour of the structure.

This paper present the novel idea of detailed calculation of chemical composition of the propagating medium in which the light signal is transmitting. The light signal when transmitting under the water there are multiple factors that act over the signal such as salinity, temperature, density and other composition. These composition effects in many ways as on frequency, wavelength, strength of signal. So there are two ways to work over this problem first one is to rectify these issues and the other one is to use these issues for the calculation of chemical properties of the propagating medium. In this paper we propose to work on the second way to calibrate the properties.
