Teaching Literature in English has been in practice in India since the times of colonial. However, any pragmatic and empirical verification proves that the teaching-learning of English and Literary English could not provide desired results. Set against this dismal situation, this paper reviews the pedagogical practices of Literature in general and of Poetry in specific. Consequently, the paper identifies some of the conventional pedagogical practices of Poetry and evaluates the same to realize the disadvantages thereof. Thirdly, the paper proposes some possible innovations in the pedagogy of Poetry which in the first place achieve student-centeredness, interpretative fulfillment of the subject/.poem under discussion and empowering the student.

Banking business has done wonders for the world economy. The simple looking method of accepting money deposits from savers and then lending the same money to borrowers, banking activity encourages the flow of money to productive use and investments. This in turn allows the economy to grow. In the absence of banking business, savings would sit idle in our homes, the entrepreneurs would not be in a position to raise the money, ordinary people dreaming for a new car or house would not be able to purchase cars or houses. The government of India started the cooperative movement of India in 1904. Then the government therefore decided to develop the cooperatives as the institutional agency to tackle the problem of usury and rural indebtedness, which has become a curse for population. In such a situation cooperative banks operate as a balancing centre. At present there are several cooperative banks which are performing multipurpose functions of financial, administrative, supervisory and development in nature of expansion and development of cooperative credit system. In brief, the cooperative banks have to act as a friend, philosopher and guide to entire cooperative structure. The study of the bank's performance along with the lending practices provided to the customers is herewith undertaken. The customer has taken more than one type of loan from the banks. Moreover they suggested that the bank should adopt the latest technology of the banking like ATMs, internet / online banking, credit cards etc. so as to bring the bank at par with the private sector banks.

Paper discusses the various internal characteristics of supply chain in food industry. The large number of product variety in the specified industry has led to the concept of clustering the industry into five major clusters viz. dairy products, cold storage products, perishables as fruits and vegetables, pulses, rice, wheat and grains and packaged ground powdered spices. Based on the clusters and supply chain characteristics indicator variables like sustainability, collaboration, agility and resilience (SCAR) are considered to develop this framework to determine the supply chain operational performance index. This is a unique concept considering these indicator variables to build the framework. The framework is supported using sample case examples inorder to simulate and illustrate the functioning of this framework and operational performance index for individual clusters in the food industry.

A different type of pesticides spraying machines is available in India. Most used machines are backpack sprayer used by farmers because of its easiness to use and cost effective. But farmer spraying pesticides are harmful for their health and also result into a muscle strain due to weight of equipment. These methods take too much time and also deleterious to human health. The aim of the project is to make wireless machine, operated by a remote control device at any desire distance within the certain limit without any interaction with the pesticide and also sprayed with minimum effort.

Day to day new innovation is added to the different technologies, similar way in the field of self-balancing vehicle, This paper represents an approach to a driver assistant system for a two wheeled self-balancing vehicle. This approach is aimed for readily available mobile devices, which have become a part of our daily lives such as mobiles or tablets. In this work we have connected a self-balancing hover-board to a mobile (or any android device) via Bluetooth. It is eco-friendly, convenient and easy to use. In this system we have used gyro sensor for balancing and Arduino uno board which consist of microcontroller for programming, and are all powered by a 12-volt battery. The main purpose of connecting the vehicle to smartphone is to leverage mobility like anyone can control it on their fingertips it is specially made for people who are not able to move or carry weight due to any reason e.g. old age ,pregnancy, patients with back problem, etc. and it can also be used in small workshops and industries. this vehicle can solve many problems of mankind on their fingertips and in a very cost-effective way. The weight carrying capacity can be varied from 20 kg to 100kg.

India is a fastest growing and competitive economy in the world today with greater opportunities in various sectors. Basically, Indian Economy is agrarian economy, but presently it is dominated by other sectors of the economy. The southern states and coastal region is nourished and fostered with diversified resources and agricultural produces. Though the coastal region (of Karnataka) is gifted with well-developed banking, financial and educational institutions, there exists a series of challenges for the agriculturists in marketing of their farm products. Agricultural marketing as an activity is a course of action which starts with the decision to produce saleable agricultural farm goods and comprises all aspects of marketing techniques. The government has taken various measures to change the scenario of agricultural marketing system, but no transformation has taken place in coastal agricultural marketing. The agricultural marketing in coastal region involves various bottlenecks like dominance of private intermediaries, lack of market information, improper storage and warehouse facilities, high charges on transportation, small holdings by agriculturists etc. The objective of the study is to enhance the marketing opportunities for agricultural products and to analyze the challenges faced by the agriculturists in marketing of farm produces and to find the some solutions to the challenges faced by them. This study also focuses on the initiatives that the government can take, to enrich the marketing opportunities of the farm products.E-commerce business has a wide network all over coastal region, in the same way there is a vital need of marketing of farm produces with the help of electronic media. Even there is the requirement of uniting all the agriculturists and adequate information regarding the use of technology and electronic media in marketing of agricultural produces must be provided.

Cloud computing is the environment which provides on-demand and convenient access of the network to computing resources like storage, servers, applications, networks and other services which can be released in minimum efficient way. In this user can store their data and use different services and pay according to those services. The main factor is security that is how we can secure our data while storing into the cloud. There are two most popular techniques for cloud data encryption. These techniques are full disk encryption and fully homomorphic encryption. In this review paper, both the techniques are reviewed and analysed

A transaction database (TDB) consists of a set I of items and a multiset D of nonempty subsets of I, whose elements are called transactions. Association rule mining seeks to discover associations among transactions encoded in a database. It can be used to improve decision making in a wide variety of applications such as: market basket analysis, medical diagnosis, bio-medical literature, protein sequences, census data, logistic regression, and fraud detection in web, CRM of credit card business etc. There are several algorithms for solving the popular and computationally expensive task of association rule mining from a TDB. In this paper we propose a novel hypergraph based model for TDB. We deal with hypergraphs as a tool to model and solve some classes of problems arising in Association rule mining in Data Mining. Algorithms to perform visits of hypergraphs and to find frequent itemset are studied in detail. Hypergraph is a generalization of a graph wherein edges can connect more than two vertices and are called hyper edges. We give efficient algorithms for generating the hypergraph and extracting frequent patterns for association rule mining. We also propose several hypergraph theoretic parameters which lead to a better understanding of the system. Our study shows that a new approach has high performance in various kinds of data, outperforms the previously developed algorithms in different settings, and is highly scalable in mining different databases.

Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is an anxious self-shaping, framework less system of mobile networks in a remote association. As there is a high climb in the utilization of cell phones and remote systems over past years, MANET has become one of the vital networks used for communication. A routing protocol is utilized for dispersing data that permits choosing routes between two nodes in a system. Packet loss is one of the significant issues that occur in the mobile ad- hoc networks while routing. A packet comprises the unit of information which is steered amongst source and destination in a system. Packet loss happens when at least one packet crosswise over systems in a network drop before achieving the destination node. A node density strategy is proposed in this paper to ease the packet loss issue to a degree. Because of system framework of MANET progressively changes, portable specially appointed system is exceptionally helpless against assaults. Concerning the security reason, we utilize RSA encryption calculation, the keys are sent to all hubs inside a system, the message is encoded and sent to the destination node.

The National Information Resource for understanding public health and policy making that scrutinizes the key indicators like Fertility, Mortality and Causes of Death. The registration of birth and death can be helpful to change the health policy of a nation. Hence, a study is required to find out whether there is an increase or a decrease in the birth and death. Further, it is to identify that the effects in measuring the rate of increase or decrease in births and deaths are sensitive areas to frame a health policy. Here, an attempt is made to assess the vital statistics such as Birth rate, Death rate, Natural Growth rate (NGR) and Infant Mortality rate (IMR) are also considered in the study for various states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka. Later, basic statistical analyses were also carried out with respect to various levels of births and deaths and to predict the growth rate for the upcoming years from 2014 to 2017

This paper presents a new E-Type module for asymmetrical multilevel inverters with reduced components. Each module produces 13 levels with four unequal DC sources and 10 switches. The design of the proposed module makes some preferable features with a better quality than similar modules such as the low number of semiconductors and DC sources and low switching frequency. Also, this module is able to create a negative level without any additional circuit such as an H-bridge which causes reduction of voltage stress on switches. Cascade connection of the proposed structure leads to a modular topology with more levels and higher voltages. MATLAB simulations are presented to validate the proposed module good performance.

The present study was carried out in 770 urban healthy school going boys of 5 to 10 years of age from middle socio-economic class Bengali families by race. This study determined the association between anthropometric obesity parameters (i.e. body mass index, waist to hip ratio, waist to thigh ratio and body fat percentage) and cardio-respiratory fitness (PFI) and also were compared the selected physiological parameters (i.e. resting blood pressure, pulse rate and respiratory rate) among three body weight categories of boys. Boys were classified on the basis of BMI-age-boys-Z-scores into normal weight, overweight and obese. All the selected anthropometric obesity parameters and physiological parameters significantly varied (p<0.001, p<0.05) among three body weight categories. The lowest 5th to highest 95th percentiles values of PFI were lower in obese boys than those in normal weight and overweight boys. Obesity parameters were found to have significant negative correlation (p< 0.001) with PFI. Multiple regressions analysis demonstrated that there was highly significant (p< 0.001) and negative association of WHR with PFI when height, BMI, body fat% and WTR were constant. PFI scores and obesity indices are negatively associated. The results from this study indicate that central obesity marker (i.e. WHR) may be responsible for lower levels of PFI in overweight and obese boys. Thus, it is suggested to promote overweight and obese boys to decrease their body fat for increased cardiorespiratory efficiency.
