Learning disability is a classification that includes several areas of functioning in which a person has difficulty learning in a typical manner, usually caused by an unknown factor or factors. Given the "difficulty learning in a typical manner", this does not exclude the ability to learn in a different manner. Therefore, some people can be more accurately described as having a "Learning Difference", thus avoiding any misconception of being disabled with a lack of ability to learn and possible negative stereotyping. The term inclusion captures, in one word, an all-embracing societal ideology. Regarding individuals with disabilities and special education, inclusion secures opportunities for students with disabilities to learn alongside their non-disabled peers in general education classrooms. While learning disability, learning disorder and learning difficulty are often used interchangeably, they differ in many ways. Disorder refers to significant learning problems in an academic area. These problems, however, are not enough to warrant an official diagnosis. Learning disability, on the other hand, is an official clinical diagnosis, whereby the individual meets certain criteria, as determined by a professional (psychologist, pediatrician, etc.). The difference is in degree, frequency, and intensity of reported symptoms and problems, and thus the two should not be confused. When the term "learning disorder" is used, it describes a group of disorders characterized by inadequate development of specific academic, language, and speech skills. Types of learning disorders include reading (dyslexia), mathematics (dyscalculia), writing (dysgraphia) and movement and coordination(dyspraxia).

Liver diseases are usually detected in the advanced stage. Hence, mortality rate is high in case of liver patients. Early diagnosis of liver diseases can definitely improve this. Diagnosis of normal and diseased liver is done using clinical data which is derived through blood tests. In this paper an attempt is made to make demarcation between the normal and diseased liver. Liver dataset by BUPA Medical Research Ltd., available on University of California at Irvine (UCI) repository, is used. Classification algorithm K-nearest-neighbor (KNN) is implemented for detecting the liver function status. This supervised classification techniques will train the algorithm to learn to differentiate between the normal and abnormal liver. Performance of KNN is evaluated using performance parameters accuracy, mean square error (MSE), sensitivity and specificity for 1 to 10 kernel functions. Performance for different kernel functions is compared. Result of this work is compared with the similar work done in previous research papers.

The present study aims to test the toxic effect of the bark extract of Ficus religiosa using three different solvents viz ethanol, acetone and benzene by examine the changes in behaviour, body weight, food intake, water intake, haematological parameters (WBC total count, WBC differential count, RBC, Hb, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC and platelet count) and histological changes in the vital organs such as lungs, heart, liver and kidney. No behavioural changes or any toxic symptoms and mortality was observed throughout the experimental period. There is a slight changes in the body weight of the extract treated groups compared to control group rats as well as the food intake and water intake showed slight variations throughout the experimental period. The haematological parameters showed significant difference among the different extract treated rats and control rats, but the levels are not exceeded from the normal range. The macroscopic and microscopic examination of the vital organs such as lungs, heart, liver and kidney showed normal cell structures, blood vessels and nuclei. Thus the present study revealed that the ethanol, acetone and benzene extracts of Ficus religiosa bark did not produce any toxic effects at the high dose of 2000mg/kg body weight and is found to be safe. Thus it is concluded that the plant extract of Ficus religiosa bark upto 2000 mg/kg body weight was used for further evaluation studies.

Uttarakhand is rich in resources which are used to produce the large varieties of products by the inhabitants of the state. The traditional economy of Uttarakhand was largely dependent on natural resources. It was based on subsistence agriculture, forest resources, artisanal crafts, some mining, and cross-border trade with Tibet. The products produced under these various categories are painting, jewellery making, wood carving, handlooms and handicrafts. The present study is to identify these products, which have their own uniqueness as they are made using the traditional knowledge to create sustainable livelihood. They should be edged regionally, nationally and internationally and should be registered as geographical indicator to protect their excellence. The data was collected through the interpersonal discussion and questionnaire methods from the women residing in the various districts of the state. In this paper the enormous varieties are identified but since the product is not accepted widely by the retailers and consumers these indigenous products are facing danger to the rest of the products which are available in the market. The economic conditions of the producers and very low marketing strategies are waving off the benefits from the producers. It is important that these varieties should be given recognition for the captivation of the market.

This paper explains the trends and types of women employment and sectoral employment of women in both rural and urban areas of India and Assam from 1993-94 to 2011-12 based on the NSS data. The employment estimates is based on usual status (Principal Status + Subsidiary Status). The work participation rates in the usual status are remained considerably higher for males than that of females at both the rural and urban areas of India as well as of Assam during the above mentioned period. The study also finds that the regular salaried employment for both rural and urban females has been increased in India. But in case of Assam the regular salaried employment is decreased for both rural and urban females during the period between 1993-94 and 2011-12. Moreover, the casual employment is also declined for rural and urban females at both national and state levels. moreover, a shift in the employment of women is observed from primary to secondary and tertiary sectors in India. In case of Assam, the study finds that there is a sizeable decrease in the share of rural and urban females employment in the secondary sector. As far as tertiary sector is concerned there is a clear pattern in the increase of female work participation in both rural and urban areas of Assam during the above mentioned period.

In the world of IT, end user data is considered to be the base of everything. Huge amount of data is added everyday into the system and a far greater amount of data is being modified every second. Everyone expects that the storing of that data should be on the go and that their data should be safe and secure. While keeping the data secure, the procurement of the same should be seamless and fast. To serve this purpose, one of the, dominant and reliable, technologies of the 20th century has been provided by one of the many products of Amazon Web Services by the name of Simple Storage Service (hereafter referred to as S3) which can store and retrieve huge amount of data from any form of application, be it web based or mobile, at an incredible speed. The data stored in S3 uses a flat file system which is easy to understand and implement. However, there are some drawback for the same when the size of the database increases. The proposed methodology targets few of the limitations of the flat file system of AWS S3 and provides a solution in the form of directory structure which on implementation can result in more security and can tackle inconsistency even for huge databases.

It is difficult to find parking space in metropolitan areas, especially in peak rush time. The problem is that the driver does not know the available space at the time. Even if know, most of vehicle may consume limited parking space which leads to traffic congestion and also the time and fuel are wasted in search (blind search) of parking. For this problem, we have designed and developed a prototype of Reservation based Smart Parking System (RSPS), which will allow the users (drivers or owners) to effectively find and reserve the available parking space. The sensor network deployed in parking system will make this system efficient to use. The drivers are allowed to use this system by their personal communication devices. This proposed parking system has the potential to solve the parking problems and also simplifies the parking operations.

Cross boarder tunnels are commonly used ways for illegal activities for nation security. Cross boarder tunnel detection is one of the most common concerns for national security. There are various methods already available. But unfortunately, all of them are highly expensive and cannot monitor and controlled remotely. In this paper, a cost effective sensor based method is proposed to detect the tunnel which is accurate and with the help of Internet-of Things, the sensory data can be monitored remotely. The necessary action command can be provided remotely as well.

The utilization of Multispectral images had gained more popularity in the recent decades due to their current development of image acquisition using multispectral sensors technology. This proposed work explores a rather new way of investigating lossy multispectral compression from a different perspective of extracting their spectral information, referred to as exploitation based lossy compression which further explores the spectral/spatial components to effectively preserve the crucial and vital spectral information of objects. Super resolution transformation based DWT with sym8 wavelet using Improved SPIHT algorithm is proposed to give better performance results for PSNR and Compression Ratio when compared with previous well known compression methods and existing discrete wavelets.

Predominant microalgae, Chlorella vulgaris, Acutodesmus nygaardii and Scenedesmus armatus were isolated from three selected Thermal power stations namely, Vallur Thermal power station (VT), Tamil Nadu, Kolaghat Thermal power station (KoT), West Bengal and Khapergada Thermal power station (KhP), Maharashtra, India. These strains were cultured in BBM medium. Gene specific primer for carbonic anhydrase gene in the genomic DNA of the three selected microalgae (Chlorella vulgaris, Acutodesmus nygaardii and Scenedesmus armatus) were used and were also expressed in all the thee organisms studied and which further confirms the presence of Carbonic anhydrase gene and the ability of those organisms to produce this particular enzyme which catalyzes the reversible conversion of carbon dioxide to bicarbonate and protons (CO2 + H2O ?HCO3- + H+) with very high efficiency. Amount of Carbonic anhydrase enzyme produced in media with and without 0.1M NaHCO3 were analyzed. The enzyme was extracted from the harvested biomass of Chlorella vulgaris, Acutodesmus nygaardii and Scenedesmus armatus. The molecular weight of the purified carbonic anhydrase was reported as 30 kDa and there were a band formations occurred at that particular range for all the three chosen microalgae.
