CT or MRI Medical imaging produces digital form of human body pictures. There exists a need for compression of these images for storage and communication purposes. Current compression schemes provide a very high compression rate with a considerable loss of quality. In medicine, it is necessary to have high image quality in region of interest, i.e. diagnostically important regions. This work discusses a model of lossless compression in region of interest with Block based PCA with high compression rate(CR) as well as high PSNR. Also the value of Mean Square Error (MSE) is very low. We evaluate our method on medical thyroid gland. This proposed method will reduce the errors caused due to manual analysis, time consuming, inaccurate and also eliminate the need of intensive trained person's in order to avoid diagnostic errors.

In this paper, firstly an overview on MANET, their attacks, and encryption module are defined. In addition, a survey is carried out for MANET security. From, the survey found that AES is most used algorithm for data encryption as well as for key generation. The AES algorithm provides good security but not efficient in resource constraint devices. So, an Improved AES algorithm as an application for key generation for stream ciphers is proposed. In the Improved AES algorithm, by using Rijndaels substitution box and dynamic random shifting principle by reducing area and complexity as compared to AES, produced equivalent randomness. This paper introduces the concept of use of random initialization vector (IV) for resolving the replay attack on the network. The IV is randomly updated in each iteration and dependence of secret key on IV using nonlinear function producing the randomness of key. Moreover, based on NIST statistical analysis, it shows that more randomness is produced by proposed technique than A5/1 stream cipher.

Humans have many things in common. But there are various other things that are very unique to every individual, like DNA, fingerprints, etc. Handwriting is one of those things that is unique to every individual. This has been proved in the recent studies on Handwriting analysis. Although it has been said that handwriting can be mimicked and forgery is also becoming a huge issue but still there is certain level of individuality and uniqueness (like the way of holding the pen, the strokes used in the writing and the amount of pressure put on paper, to name a few) that cannot be mimicked or forged. Also, computerization becoming more prominent these days, handwriting recognition is gaining importance in various fields eg. authentication of signatures in banks, recognizing ZIP codes addresses on letters, forensic evidence, etc. Furthermore, if a large scale computational analysis and the authentication work is done in the bank then the burden on other agencies is reduced. But how is it possible for a computer to recognize the handwriting of an individual? Owing to the fact that each individual has his/her own way of presenting his/her ideas on paper, there is much complexity involved in this subject. An overview of some methodologies and recognition algorithms is presented here.

Abstract Geopolitics means the study of geographic factors and their influences on power relationships in international politics. Geopolitics focuses on political power in relation to geographic space. In particular, territorial waters and land territory in correlation with diplomatic history. Academically, geopolitics analyses history and social science with reference to geography in relation to politics. The term was first employed in the early 20th century by the Swedish political scientist Rudolph Kjellen. Though it is a complex term, used in international politics, in simple terminology, the entire world consists of two great landmasses North America, and Eurasia, South America, Africa, and Australia, and five major sources of water is Indian, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans besides the North Polar Sea the South Polar Sea. Term geo-politics involves, process of Analysing, describing, forecasting, and using of political power over a given territory. It is the term of foreign policy analysis which helps in understanding and predicting international political policies of a nation through specific geographical variables. Those geographical variables are, geographic location of the country, climate of the region, topography of the region, demography, natural resources and technological development.

Region of Interest based compression is an efficient method of compression for images with a particular part to be most significant. It is always a better choice to compress the ROI with lossless compression while the rest of image with lossy compression technique. This paper proposes lossless compression for medical image (ROI) and near lossless compression for the rest of the image. Image other than ROI may contain information that is useful, that is why it is appropriate to use near lossless compression for the rest of the image. In this method of compression, PSNR obtained is remarkable and compression ratio can be increased by increasing the base value which is in power of two. Image compression is essential where images need to be stored, transmitted or viewed quickly and efficiently. The artificial neural network is a recent tool in image compression as it processes the data in parallel and hence requires less time and is superior over any other technique. The reason that encourage researchers to use artificial neural networks as an image compression approach are adaptive learning, self-organization, noise suppression, fault tolerance and optimized approximations. In this method of compression, medical image will be compressed completely loss less by using morphological operations. In this paper region of interest (ROI) is detected by Artificial Neural Network (ANN) & then compress the part of ROI using lossless method & the part other than ROI compressed by using lossy method. The reason, wavelet method of compression preferred for the rest of the image is, despite of insignificance of region of image other than ROI.

Fatigue failure of welded structures are major cause of failure due to which there is a loss of material and life especially in the field of marine and aerospace structures. Such catastrophic behavior of welded structures usually occurs under cyclic loading, where the stresses are within working limits. In the present project a fem based approach has been followed to estimate the fatigue life of welded titanium Grade 5 alloy for various weld bed shapes (flat, concave and convex), under different loading conditions. An S-N based fatigue approach which predicts complete life, starting from crack initiation, propagation and final failure of the structure is implemented to obtain the fatigue life of the welded structure. The purpose of this thesis is to provide the designer with better understanding of different fatigue calculation methods used in the industry in the present day and aim at decreasing the probability of failure with a higher control of a fatigue failure site.

There is presented a teaching experience described with the help of some theoretic elements of the onto semiotic way in. We offer a number, order, group, line of problem-situations of discovery sort which have need of a complete way in to intra-mathematical looks into, with observations ends, which have to do with applications of theoretical makings and methods on the joints in quality example directions, in another general condition. Our secret design is to design a number, order, group, line of theoretical questions, which lead to operation of making observations operation, and to keep the students toward systemic view of mathematical practices through the practices of unitary view. We take into account the onto based on observations about signs way in as an enough theoretical framework which lets us to observe the learning process in the e-modality of having an effect equal to the input algebra direction in order to order the activities so that the students would get done the deeper mind's power to see clearly of the most important ideas of a quality common to a group and their common (to 2 or more) relations.
