Most of the constructions in hilly regions are constrained by local topography which results in the adoption of either a step back or step back &set back configuration. Due to this the structure is irregular by virtue of varying column heights leading to torsion and increased shear during seismic ground motion. The dynamic analysis is carried out using response spectrum method to the step back and step back & set back building frames. The dynamic response i.e. fundamental time period, storey displacement & drift, and base shear action induced in columns have been studied for buildings of different heights. These results show that the performance of step back & set back building frames are more suitable in comparison with step back building frames. But after considering bracings to the step back building frames, a better performance can be observed when compared with step back & set back building frames. In the present study the effect bracings in high rise RC structures sited in different types of earthquake zones (Z-II &V) and type of soils(S-II) using ETABS 2013 is done.

Ethnicity refers to shared cultural practices, perspectives and distinctions that set apart one group of people to another. The dimension of ethnicity is very prominent in the countries comprising multi-ethnic societies. The socio-political history of India reveals several ethnic movements which gained momentum during colonial era and became effective undergoing through certain modification in its ideologies in post-independent years. There have been a number of ethnic movements in the north-east in order to preserve ones' ethnic identity. In this paper, an attempt has been made to conceptualize the Ethnicity and Ethnic Movements in North-East India with special reference to Assam. The methodology of this paper is descriptive and required informations are collected from different secondary sources like books, research articles, different government documents etc. An ethnic group is a distinct category of the population in a larger society whose culture is usually different from that of others. Among the ethnic movements in the North-east region, the movement laid down in Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura deserves special mention. Among the various ethnic movements in Assam, the Bodo movement for autonomy, Tiwa movement, the Mishing, the Deoris, the Morans, the Sonowal Kacharis and intensive ethnic conflict was surfaced in the hill areas of Karbi Anglong (formerly Mikir hills) and Dima Hasao movements are prominent.

Wireless power transfer (WPT) is more convenient and safer system to transfer the power from one end of system to another end system with coil having high inductance value. Wireless power transfer systems is employ to charge the battery pack of electric vehicles (EB) than conventional plug-in system. A wireless method of charging is suitable for charging massive electric vehicle by having multilevel inverter across input side of the system. In this paper we used the 5 level cascaded H bridge multilevel inverter. The multilevel inverter is employed to synthesis of several levels of dc voltages. The H bridge multilevel inverter can operate at both fundamental switching frequencies (SF) that are higher switching frequency and lower switching frequency. Even a switching frequency is low system will have lower switching loss and higher efficiency is achieved. The 5 level H bridge multilevel inverter can reduce torque and flux ripples. The using of H bridge multilevel inverter which helps in receiver side to have desired battery without any changes in its terminal voltage irrespective of its frequency by applying H bridge multi-level across the transmitter side battery gets charged.

Abstract Iyothee Thass was a Tamil pioneer of Dravidian Movement in South India. He was the initial documented anti-Brahmin head of the Madras Presidency. Iyothee Thass was also the first distinguished Dalit organizer to clinch Buddhism. He was a critic, communal reformer, Buddhist intellectual and Siddha surgeon. He was reputable the Advaidananda Sabha in A.D. 1876. He launches a periodical called, Dravida Pandian beside with Rev. John Rathinam in 1885. He issue a declaration in 1886, announces that the alleged untouchables be not Hindus. He conventional the Dravida Mahajana Sabha in 1891 and through the incredibly initial survey urges the so-called untouchables to inventory themselves as casteless Dravidians. This is fact makes Tamil Dalits the accurate children of the Anti-Brahmin inheritance which is today claimed by Non-Brahmin as Non-Dalits and etc.,

Computer science and many of its applications are about developing, analysing, and applying algorithms. Efficient solutions to important problems in various disciplines other than computer science usually involve transforming the problems into algorithmic ones on which standard algorithms are applied. Scholarly Digital documents are increasing day by day. To automatically find and extract these algorithms in this vast collection of documents that enable algorithm indexing, searching, discovery, and analysis.AlgorithmSeer, a search engine for algorithms, has been investigated as part of CiteSeerX with the intent of providing a large algorithm database. A novel set of scalable techniques used by AlgorithmSeerto identify and extract algorithm representations in a heterogeneous pool of scholarly documents is proposed. Along with this, anyone with different levels of knowledge can access the platform and highlight portions of textual content which are particularly important and relevant. The highlighted documents can be shared with others in support of lectures and self-learning. But the high-lighted part of text cannot be useful to different levels of learners. We solve the problem of predicting new highlights of partly highlighted e-learning documents.

This paper will discuss and demonstrate Static Var Compensator (SVC) for reactive power compensation. SVC is basically a shunt connected static Var generator whose output is adjusted to exchange capacitive or inductive current so as to maintain or control specific power variable. In this paper, simple circuit model of Thyristor Controlled Reactor is modeled and simulated using MATLAB. Hardware implementation of TCR is done by using MATLAB-dSPACE interfacing. The current drawn by the TCR varies with the variation in the firing angle and as the current varies ultimately reactive power compensation can be achieved. Also the harmonic analysis is done. The simulation results are compared with the experimental results.

With the popularity of cloud computing, mobile devices can store or retrieve personal data from anywhere at any time. Consequently, the data security problem in mobile cloud becomes more and more severe and prevents further development of mobile cloud. There are substantial studies that have been conducted to improve the cloud security. However, most of them are not applicable for mobile cloud since mobile devices only have limited computing resources and power. Solutions with low computational overhead are in great need for mobile cloud applications. In this paper, we propose a ABE based lightweight Secure Re-encryption scheme for MC data sharing (LRE-MCDS) for mobile cloud computing environment. It adopts CP-ABE, an access control technology used in normal cloud environment, but changes the structure of access control tree to make it suitable for mobile cloud environments. LRE-MCDS moves a large portion of the computational intensive access control tree transformation in CP-ABE from mobile devices to external proxy servers. Furthermore, to reduce the user revocation cost, it introduces attribute description fields to implement lazy-revocation, which is a thorny issue in program-based CP- ABE systems. The experimental results show that LRE- MCDS can effectively reduce the overhead on the mobile device side when users are sharing data in mobile cloud environments. In this proposed we are using a combination of Attribute-Based Encryption and Rivest Cipher -6(RC-6) Algorithm for encrypting the data before sending it to the cloud. This will help the user to securely store and share the data in encrypted form.

Abstract: Cancer has become a major public health problem worldwide. Researches focus on the new approaches for cancer treatments that involve the specific targets of the cancer disease. The premise of targeted therapy in oncology is the fundamental reliance of tumor cells on biological pathways to which drugs inhibiting those pathways can be applied. Tumor resistance to anticancer drugs is a well-known clinical phenomenon that is now yielding its secrets to investigation at the molecular level. Resistance of immunotherapeutic agents is a matter of concern that is believed to influence the effectiveness of anticancer therapies. The intrinsic or acquired drug resistance directly impacts on the survival and the prognosis of patients with cancer. This review presents the application of molecule targeted therapy in cancer treatment. A particular focus is on the potential mechanism that can facilitate further improvement of anticancer.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) has drafted a definition of literacy as the "ability to identify, understand, interpret, create, communicate, compute and use printed and written materials associated with varying contexts. Literacy involves a continuum of learning in enabling individuals to achieve their goals, to develop their knowledge and potential, and to participate fully in their community and wider society." The National Literacy Mission defines literacy as acquiring the skills of reading, writing and arithmetic and the ability to apply them to one's day-to-day life. The achievement of functional literacy implies (i) self-reliance in 3 R's, (ii) awareness of the causes of deprivation and the ability to move towards amelioration of their condition by participating in the process of development, (iii) acquiring skills to improve economic status and general well being, and (iv) imbibing values such as national integration, conservation of environment, women's equality, observance of small family norms
