The article explores the origin and evolution of Dark Romanticism as a disruption within the onset of the Romantic Era as a revolutionary movement. It attempts to trace the various discourses impacting the discussion around Dark Romanticism within the nineteenth century milieu and document its distinctions and parallels with other contemporary movements that ultimately led to its concretization as a genre. It acknowledges its contributions in assimilating the complexity of nature by encouraging writers to interrogate the previously veiled, deeper, and darker meanings of humanness. While Dark Romanticism expanded on the 'inhumane' of humanness, this article intends to analyze such characteristics in the short-prose work, "The Vampyre: A Tale" by John Polidori, which emerged as a confluence of Dark Romantic sentiments in 1819. The trope of the vampire created by Polidori is peculiar both, in being emblematic of real negative sensibilities and magnifying it to an extent that seems supernatural. It thus, becomes a work of interest in dissecting the idea of Dark Romanticism.

The demonetizations in India in November 2016 occurred on a very different magnitude than those in Jan 1946 and Jan 1978. This time, Prime Minister Modi's administration& its regulations extended to 86.4% of the coins and bank notes in the circulation or 11% of the GDP. The two objectives of this strategy was to decrease black currency and corruption in the Indian economy and to improve financial inclusions& develop a more robust digitalized economy. Demonetization is the process of removing legal tender status from a monetary unit. The head of the administrator took unexpected action that has affected India & its finance sector. It has affected the economy's rate of growth broadly speaking. It affects consumer shopping habits as well as other societal elements like families and online enterprises. Demonetization has also had a short-term negative effect on the Indian economy, including a minimal GDP increase, the loss of wage-earner jobs in some sectors, Agriculture, and some adverse effects on the real estate market. Compared to large farmers, marginal farmers were more impacted regarding sowing, buying inputs, and selling agricultural products. The general public has shifted away from traditional cash-only transactional patterns and toward electronic transactions. The whole value chain of the textile and garment sector was impacted by demonetization. The citizens of India are now subject to many restrictions due to demonetization. They had to wait in queues to exchange their currencies, had issues with banks and ATMs to deposit their money and issue fewer goods and commodities because of a lack of cash liquidity.

The agricultural sector serves as the backbone of a country's innovative growth, providing sustenance and raw materials essential for development. Agriculture is not only vital for human sustenance but also for the provision of resources. Consequently, the detection of leaf diseases has emerged as a critical concern. While traditional methods for identifying leaf diseases exist, they often rely on manual inspection by agriculture professionals or leaf pathologists. This conventional approach is subjective, time-consuming, expensive, and demands extensive expertise and data on leaf diseases. In recent years, advancements in technology have facilitated the use of machine learning and deep learning for leaf disease detection. This study focuses on implementing a Plant Leaf Disease Detection and Classification Network (PDDC-Net) using deep learning models. Pre-processing techniques are applied to eliminate various types of noise and standardize the dataset images. The PDDC-Net utilizes a residual network-based convolutional neural network (ResNet-CNN) for feature extraction and classification. Additionally, the model suggests appropriate pesticides for corresponding plant leaf diseases. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed PDDC-Net model achieves high accuracy rates in leaf disease detection and classification, marking a significant advancement in agricultural technology.

It has always been fascinating how human emotions control the actions and behaviour of individuals and groups either consciously or subconsciously. Research has validated that the human brain can at a point be impacted up to 90% solely by emotions, thus making it significant to be included in behavioural sciences research. In the past 3 to 4 decades Emotional Intelligence (EI) has made its way to other fields as well. Management studies are one of the fields that have started considering Emotional Intelligence to be important while dealing with the human resources of an organization. Emotional Intelligence when understood and trained as per requirement can have psychological impacts on individuals and can develop better workplace efficiency. Despite this being, a relatively new dimension of the study, a significant number of researches have been carried out to establish the relationship and effects of emotional intelligence on an individual and their surroundings. Ever since its scientific validation, many organizations have started to invest in EI orientation and training of the workforce to properly channel the emotional commitments of employees towards organizational goals. This abstract presents, emotional intelligence and its consequences in the workplace context as it plays a significant role in shaping workplace dynamics and outcomes. The study aims to highlight how EI can be introduced as a measure of productivity and an influential factor in overall organizational goals. The study is descriptive in nature and uses secondary data to present a composition of various studies. The composition further concludes with a positive relation between Emotional Intelligence and Workplace dynamics as better EQ in an organization was seen in better goal achievement in the workplace.

Interactive ranking techniques have substantially promoted analysts ability in making judicious and informed decisions effectively based on multiple criteria. However, the existing techniques cannot satisfactorily support the analysis tasksinvolved in ranking large- scale spatial alternatives, such as selecting optimal locations for chain stores, where the complex spatial contexts involved are essential to the decision-making process. Limitations observed in the prior attempts of integrating rankings with spatial contexts motivate us to develop a context integrated visual ranking technique. Based on a set of generic design requirements I summarized by collaborating with domain experts. I propose SRV is, a novel spatial ranking visualization technique that supports efficient spatial multi-criteria decision- making processes by addressing three major challenges in the aforementioned context integration, namely, a) the presentation of spatial rankings and contexts, b) the scalability of rankings' visual representations, and c) the analysis of context-integrated spatial rankings. Specifically, I encode massive rankings and their cause with scalable matrix- based visualizations and stacked bar charts based on a novel two-phase optimization framework that minimizes the information loss, and the flexible spatial filtering and intuitive comparative analysis are adopted to enable the in- depth evaluation of the rankings and assist users in selecting the best spatial alternative. The effectiveness of the proposed technique has been evaluated and demonstrated with an empirical study of optimization methods, two case studies, and expert interviews.

The self-regulating of power industry, large power users can buy electricity directly from power producers. For trades between different domestic markets, it is necessary to research on the method to find the cheapest route for power exchanging. Moreover, as there exists no coordinator above domestic markets, the power routing problem must be solved in a distributed way. Most previous research are based on power electronic transformers. Some research proposed EMS of sub- networks as energy routers, but failed to consider the power flow constraints or did not converge in some specific cases. Our method is based on the EMS of multiple markets, which saves cost by eliminating expensive electronic transformers and has high efficiency in systems with numerous nodes by considering the domestic markets as generalized nodes. We take transmission costs and congestion costs into consideration, and uses greedy approach to determine the cheapest route for power transmission between different domestic markets and make convergence analysis about our algorithm. This method proves effective and convergent when there is no loop among the markets. A four- market loop-free case was used to illustrate the efficiency of the method.
