Technology is transforming the traditional methods of teaching and learning in the classrooms of the 21st Century. The goal is to create students who can become active, independent and lifelong learners rather than passive recipients of information. This new approach to education takes the student beyond the traditional textbook and allows the students to develop a combination of skills in computer technology, critical thinking and information-seeking strategies. The classroom teacher with suitable technology is the key to the success of an education program that promotes these qualities. Society has long viewed and acknowledged information experts. As modern-day satraps, we represent a professional group that learned to bridge the gap between the traditional methods and the modern technological techniques used in the organization and management of Education. The intricacy of teaching - learning process are taking a monumental change due to the perseverance of Information and communication technologies. The concept of E learning is a fast emerging trend in the education field. In this paper the prospects of E Learning and the readiness and acceptance of the students and staff members of a commerce college are discussed.

For the present study, Review of literature and group discussions were undertaken to find out various stressors. Further study attempts to determine the validity of selected factors which cause stress for undergraduate students from the city of Surat. Semi-structured Questionnaire was developed to collect primary data. The sample consisted of 97 respondents who are undergraduate students from the Surat city. The collected data was analyzed and interpreted by applying factor analysis. The study attempts to identify valid and reliable influences accountable for stress for undergraduate students of first year from arts and commerce stream.

Advertisement is often castigated for causing economic damage and for promoting such products to people who have effects on their health. Taking into account the harmful effects of some of these products, the Indian government has banned the advertising of alcohol and tobacco products by introducing various laws and regulations. Therefore, prohibited brands and products gradually adopt surrogate ads, which is a form of advertising that is used to support banned products, such as cigarettes and alcohol, in the veil of another product. In India there are many companies that indirectly advertise as McDowell soda, Bagpiper Club Soda, silver beads of Rajnigandha, the IPL team of Royal Challengers ... etc. One of the reasons for using surrogate ads is to circumvent the ban on direct advertising of specific products. This paper will study the impact of Surrogate advertisement on youth of Surat city. Can today's generation identify the original advertised product and purchase the original product after seeing such ads? Are young people fascinated by celebrities who support such events and products? For example, Priyanka Chopra endorses Rajnigandha, SRK endorses Royal Stag.

Abstract Creatine is a naturally occurring substance in the human body. It is synthesized from the amino acids arginine, glycine, and methionine, and is naturally produced by the liver, kidneys, and pancreas. The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of creatine monohydrate consumption on muscular power of south Gujarat male state level athletes. The study was delimited to the young male students of state level competitions and tournaments of various sports from South Gujarat region. The study was delimited to the young male students of state level competitions and tournaments of various sports from South Gujarat region. The period of training for the experiment group was eight weeks. There would be positive improvement in increase peak power, relative peak power (RPP), mean power, and relative mean power (RMP) after Supplementation of creatine monohydrate. Supplementation of creatine monohydrate will significantly lower fatigue index. To achieve purpose of the study Seventy Five (75) male participants in the age group of 18-25 years were randomly selected from South Gujarat region of the state level tournaments and competition. All the 75 male participants belonged to different colleges of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. The study was formulated as pre and post-test random group design in which seventy five subjects were divided into three equal groups. The experimental group I (n = 25 CM group) consumed 5g creatine monohydrate with glucose, Protein and Milk for eight weeks. Group II (n = 25 PM group) consumed Glucose, Protein and Milk. Group III (n = 25 PT group) had not consumed creatine monohydrate glucose, protein and milk at all. The experimental group I, II and Control group were given training for 8 consecutive weeks (6 days in a week). Every training session will be lasted for 40 to 60 minutes. This chapter presents the results of the study from the data analysis of the experimental study. The analyses were carried out through various statistical techniques such as the dependent t-test, the univariate analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), and the post hoc pair wise comparison using the LSD test analysis. The data were compiled and analysed using the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS)for windows computer software.

A Shadow is an effect which is generated by bright light source on an object. In this research paper, a new methodology for shadow removal based on color based method is proposed. The Entropy, Peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and Mean-squared error (MSE) results of earlier Tsai Method and proposed color based method are calculated and compared with each other. The results show that the proposed color space model is better than the previous Tsai.

The performance of any organization depends upon its inventory controlling techniques. Every organization needs inventory for efficient running of their accomplishments. The purpose of inventory management is to ensure availability of materials in sufficient quantity as and when required and also to minimize investment in inventories so that smooth performance of production attained. The unavailability of raw material for production makes the process irregular and decreases the productivity and increases the inventory cost which directly affects the capital cost. This paper is mainly focused on to study how inventories in textile sector are managed across the world. India is one of the leading country for manufacturing of textile products. Textile industries are integral part of Indian economy. Due to expectation of low price, textile industries over stock their raw material inventory Thus it causes the damage to inventory of organization and leads to the increases in inventory cost and thus initial capital cost so there should be proper inventory management techniques for efficient running of textile industries.

Static portfolios are made with the help of Markowitz model and analyse its return with sharpe ratio. There are three portfolios namely Aggressive, Moderate and Conservative. These portfolios are made to gain risk adjusted return with tax efficiency. From the study it was found that aggressive portfolio will give the highest return and tax liability can decrease by investing in arbitrage fund. It also shows that asset allocation perform massive role than fund selection while building Portfolio

Mounting stress and work overload are cited to be the most obvious reasons for lowering nursing population. This present study focuses on the work-life balance of nurses working in private hospitals. Questionnaire is designed with the objective of collecting personal data, available work life balance programs, and impact of work life balance policies on satisfaction and turnover intentions. The data will be collected from 100 nurses working in different private hospitals in Surat city. Percentage Analysis will be used to analyze the primary data collected. The paper attempts to provide some recommendations to human resource professionals to deal with work life balance issues.

Like the sex composition of the total population, the sex composition by age groups is vital for studying the demographic trends of young population, its future patterns and particularly, the status of the girl child. At the Census 2011, sex ratio of the population in the age group 0-6 years has been registered as 919, in India, decreasing from 927 in 2001.Overall the decreasing sex ratio in this age group has a cascading effect on population over a period of time leading to diminishing sex ratio in the country. To study the scenario and estimates the future trend of CSR of India by using previous years data. This time series data analysis study was conducted during February 2017. Study included the data of Indian census 1961 to 2011. Study had focused mainly on data of India. Study had systemically searched the data and relevant information from internet, internet and index journals. Bi-variate analysis regarding to know the association between dependent and independent variable, Correlation and Simple linear regression model have applied accordingly. India recorded a 8 point decrease in CSR from girls to 1000 boys in 2001 to 2011, still significantly lower than desirable levels. After analyses and estimates the data the projected child sex ratio up to 2021 it is 908 girls per 1000 boys which also in decline trend to compare with the previous years of CSR of India. Correlation coefficient and R-squared value was -0.983 and 0.966 respectively. Study results show that if there is no change in current situation or more actions are not taken, CSR of India will continuously decrease. Parents in a society should change their attitude towards certain norms that lead them to give better care to their sons than their daughters, and excess female mortality may be an unintended consequence.
