The increased environmental awareness and its potential hazardous effects, utilization of industrial byproducts has become an attractive alternative to disposal. Silica fume(SF), which is byproduct of the melting process in the silicon and ferrosilicon industry. Silica fume is very effective in the design and development of high performance concrete. This paper presents the results of an experimental investigations carried out to find the suitability of silica fume in concrete. The water binder ratio (W/B) adopted was 0.43. The main parameter investigated in this study is M30 grade concrete by partial replacement of cement with silica fume by 2, 4, 6,8 sand by 10%. .Specimens such as cubes and cylinders were cast for various mix proportions and tested at the age of 14and 28 days. The investigation revealed that the partial replacement of cement by silica fume will develop compressive strength and split tensile strength sufficient for construction purposes The optimum dosage of silica fume found to be 8% (by weight), when used as partial replacement of ordinary Portland cement .Its use will lead to a reduction in cement quantity required for construction purposes and hence sustainability in the construction industry as well as economic construction.

The paper presents the Clay soils have the tendency to shrink when their moisture content is decrease and swell when their moisture content is increased. CCR is the one, which is produced in plenty of quantity. In each crusher unit about 20-25% of the production is CCR. In bulk use of CCR is possible through geotechnical applications as, Back-fill material, embankment, sub base material. It is a by-product of the acetylene gas production. CCR (Calcium Carbide Residue) as a treatment of soil is a technique to save Money and time on construction projects. Transform of clay soil into workable, compactable, friable material when CCR used. By CCR stabilization chemical changes in unstable clay soil which have long term effects. Experiments performed on CCR combined at different percentage with expansive soil .The test results such as Standard Proctors test, direct shear test, and unconfined compression strength obtain on clay soil. From this study conclusion drawn that the combination of equal amount of CCR is more effective, which is (5, 7, 9%) than the addition of CCR, to the clay soil in controlling the swelling behaviour.

Clay bricks are more popular in building construction than the cement or concrete bricks because of their eco-friendly characteristics. Presently in ceramic industry the production goes as waste, which is not undergoing the recycle process yet. About 30% of the daily production in the ceramic industry goes as waste. These bricks were doped with ceramic powder of ratio 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% of the total weight mixture of the normal bricks. After mixing the ratio of ceramic powder, brick has been moulded in the dimension of 200mm*100mm*100mm. The moulded brick is allowed to dry for 4 days in 28 ?C - 31 ?C atmospheres and dried brick is fired in traditional method at 1250 ?C. The physical and mechanical properties were tested in both field and laboratory tests.

Soil is Basic Foundation for any Civil Engineering Structures and Soil Stabilizing can be defined as the modification of soil property Chemical or Physical Means in order to enhance the Engineering quality of soil the property of these clay soil in general is that they very hard when in dry state but they lose all of their strength when in wet state, In light of this property of clay soil these soil pose problem worldwide that serve as challenge to overcome for geotechnical engineers. One of the most important aspects for construction purposes is soil stabilization, which is used widely in foundation and road pavement constructions; this is because such a stabilization regime improves engineering properties of the soil, such as volume stability, strength and durability. In this process, removal or replacing of the problematic soil is done; replacement is done by a better quality material, or the soil is treated with an additive. In the present study using of Fly ash is obtained from Geotechnical Laboratory at NIT Trichy, Clay soil obtained from sindhulipu village in Coimbatore District, Lime is obtained from rasakaplayam lime plant in pollachi and coir fiber is obtained as locally available cheap, eco-friendly Natural material, which can be burned into ash. Hence the cost of stabilization may be economical by replacing good proportion of stabilizing agent using Fly ash, lime and Coir ash, where the result are compared for the two samples likely F.A+ Lime + Soil and F.A+ Lime + C.A + Soil and are observation are made by replacing different proportion to change Maximum Dry Density (MDD) Optimum moisture content (OMC), Unconfined compressive strength (UCS) and unsoaked California Bearing Ratio (CBR) are values Concluded that for various works in civil engineering such as Sub grade for road construction and foundations etc.,

Due to presence of harmful chemicals and microorganisms in food, food contamination will be caused which causes illness to the people. The proposed scheme addresses the chemical contamination of foods, as opposed to microbiological contamination, which can be found under food borne illness. Food poisoning occurs by harmful bacteria on food. Food poisoning can be caused by eating contaminated food with bacteria viruses, chemicals or poisonous metals such as lead or cadmium etc. and including chicken, meat, sea food, eggs, cooked rice, ham, salami, milk and all dairy foods. Bacteria and viruses are the most common cause of food poisoning. Symptoms of food poisoning include Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain feeling weak, fever etc. In order to monitor the food poisoning, the new implementation has been made by using IoT. The monitoring system is based on many embedded sensors like thermostat, odour sensor, biosensor, pH sensor which depend on the out coming electric signals or digital value of the quality factors. In proposed system the biosensor plays a vital role to detect the bacterial contamination in food sample. Based on the combination of the sensor output, quality of the food should be detected which is reported to the health center through IOT.

According to the surveys of road accidents, most of the accidents occurs mainly due to driver itself in terms of high speed, carelessness, drunk, health conditions, inattentive, distracted tired, fall unconscious and bad weather conditions and road infrastructure itself. A National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB),Ministry of Road Transport &Highway, Law commission of India, report revealed that every year, more than 135,000 traffic collision-related deaths occur in India. In order to avoid road accidents and provide improved safety measures, this work aims to design& build a prototype of intelligent collision avoidance and automatic headlight controller system and driver monitoring system. An intelligent collision avoidance system is proposed as a prototype, which avoids vehicle accidents and to provide a greatest security to the user. This system assists the driver in avoiding collision using IR and Ultrasonic sensors. This proposal is made to reduce the glare effect and to protect the human eye from getting affected due to high intensities of light and also helps in eliminating the requirement of manual headlight controlling process. Accidents due to drowsiness can be controlled with the help of Eye blink sensor using IR rays. Thus the road accidents are avoided to its extreme level with the implementation of this project.

It presents how the protection of innocent fishermen's from the shooting and arresting by the other country navy is possible. An Embedded technology which uses IOT, and microcontroller and RFID can avoid this. There are three boundaries of borders taken Final state boundary will be the border between the two countries and other two borders before that comes under the parental country circumstances. First two border crossing will be monitored by Indian government. The fishermen's are warned by the warning devices such as speaker (a buzzer) and an LCD display while they crossing the first two borders. If warning system fails there is another option. While crossing third border, the motor in the boat turns off automatically. Now Information about the fishermen's will be acknowledged to both the Indian and SriLankan government

In our project we propose the Accident finding android application using the GPS and accelerometer sensor. This works when the vibration level of a mobile phone reach maximum level then the camera will automatically turn on and takes the picture of the users location. Then the location and the picture send to the emergency contacts. In the application we are using new version of android application which Uses less memory and power management which can always monitor the sensors and can detect the accidents based on the vibrations using accelerometer. Then automatically invoke the camera and take pictures and send it to all the emergency contacts. For the detection of accidents, only measurable information from the outside should be used as features, and the selected features mainly determine the detection performance. Schlechtriemen suggested the use of the variance of the lateral position within a constant window size as a feature. To decrease the number of false alarms that frequently occur when using previous methods, we reduced the number of false alarms.

These days IT service providers are rapidly embracing an automated services delivery model in order to keep pace with advances in technology and demanding market pressure to reduce and maintain quality. Application development and maintenance is a good example of a service system in which a sizable volume of tickets are raised every day for different issues to get resolved with a view to deliver uninterrupted service. An issue is captured as summary on the ticket and once a ticket is resolved, the solution is also noted down on the ticket as resolution. It will be bene?cial to automatically extract information from the description of tickets to improve operations like identifying critical and frequent issues, grouping of tickets based on textual content, suggesting remedial measures for them etc. In particular, the maintenance people can save a lot of effort and time if they have access to past remedial actions for similar kind of tickets raised earlier based on history data. In this work we propose an automated method based on background knowledge of tickets for recovering resolutions for fresh tickets using unsupervised learning and the traditional FULL TEXT SEARCH algorithm.
