With changing times the economic and business environment of India also went through a change. In the 1980s and 1990s, we opened our economy and truly became a global trading partner with the world. This exposed customers to new products but also new problems. And we finally this can be argued on the basis of fast enactment of consumer protection laws in almost all part of the world. Apart from the consumer protection laws in developed world, India is not an exception to this rule. The Consumer Protection Act, 1986, is one of the examples that are to be treated as a milestone in the history of socio-economic legislation to protect the interests of the consumers in India. The main objective of the Consumer Protection Act is to ensure the better protection of consumers. Unlike existing laws which are punitive or preventive in nature, the provisions of this Act are compensatory in nature. The Act is also intended to provide simple, speedy and inexpensive redressal to the consumers' grievances, and relief of a specific nature and award of compensation wherever appropriate to the consumer. The act has been amended in 1993 both to extend its coverage and scope and to enhance the powers of the redressal machinery.

Think of a city and what comes to mind? Its streets. If streets look good, the city looks interesting; if they look dull, the city looks dull (Jacobs J., 1961). Streets are an important part of open public space in the city. For many urban thinkers, it is the streets that signify the outdoors (Jacobs A. B., 1993). Street is viewed as the primary public space in the urban setting. As the smallest definable community space of any area, the street may also be seen as an indicator of the socio-physical fabric of that area. It is also an acknowledged fact that the potential for the development of successful neighborhood lies in the possibility of the spaces around the blocks, generally streets are meant to generate social activity.

The Muslim Electoral politics has always been a subject of discussion among the scholars. For strange reasons Muslims of India are perceived to be voting as a monolith. The dominant notion about the Muslim voting behavior remains that they are strategic in their voting behavior and are not influenced by their gender, class, or regional location. Their only consideration regardless of the opposition, it is believed while they cast their votes, is to defeat Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). Amidst this gross generalization, the role of the nature of party competition in determining the voting behavior of Muslims is often down played. The paper attempts to probe whether the availability of political choice has any role to play in determining their voting behaviour or not. Therefore, the effort is to figure out how the dynamics of Muslim vote plays out in a context characterized by multi-party competition. It does so by looking in to the Electoral Preferences of Muslims of West Bengal in different Lok Sabha Elections. The paper further attempts to enquire whether the Muslims of the State, as is generally believed, constitute a traditional vote bank of a particular party or have changed their political preferences with the changing time when they have got the opportunity to do so.

It is a comparative study of selected physical fitness components of female players between body contact and non-body contact games, whose age is between 18 to 25years. Basketball, hockey, and football games selected as body contact games and volleyball, table-tennis and badminton games selected as non-body contact games. Physical fitness components are agility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardio muscular endurance, explosive strength etc. In this study the data was collected randomly from the various colleges and universities of west Uttar Pradesh during the training of players prior their competition. Total 255 female players were selected as subjects, 85 from each game body contact and non-body contact. AAPHAR test battery was applied for collect the data of physical fitness. The t-test was applied to find out the significance difference between selected variables. The level of significance was set at 0.05 level of confidence. After the evaluation of data cardio muscular endurance, muscular strength and muscular endurance variables level were high in body contact players than non-body contact game players. But in explosive strength and agility non-body contact player were better than body contact game players.

The modern information based systems to make them more human friendly. Dealing with information inaccuracy, fuzzy techniques have been widely integrated with different database models and theories. The traditional query in relational database is unable to satisfy the needs for dealing with fuzzy linguistic values. In this paper, a new data query technique composed of fuzzy theory and MS-SQL is provided. Here, the query can be implemented for fuzzy linguistic variables query via an interface to JAVA SWING. Natural language processing based systems are extremely capable to represent and manipulate the complex query as complicated and uncertain relationship existing among them. They are also much appropriate for engineering and scientific applications, managing with large data intensive applications. In this paper, a survey of different approaches regarding integration of fuzzy techniques in natural language complex query processing has been discussed, related to numerous types of conceptual data modeling, querying and indexing. Now I will try to build a software tool which can perform the work on complex query and we can fetch the information from the database very easily.

The abiotic and biotic factors, which activate the growth of bacteria in fresh water. The microbes, which are present in the gill, digestive tract soil and the tissues of Gray mullet, were studied. The total heterotrophic bacterial population in water and soil was more during summer than in winter. The percentage of bacterial flora was the maximum in the gill and minimum in the muscle tissues of Gray mullet. Vibrio spp, Pseudomonas spp and Bacillus spp were the major micro flora found in the gill, digestive tract and body tissues of Mugil cephalus followed by Micrococcus spp and Aeromonas spp. The polluted water of the pond appears to be the major source of fish pathogens.
