The present study aimed at getting a view on the animated cartoons by the children and mothers. The focus of the study was on understanding how animated cartoons play a role in capturing children's imagination. This was done by recording their perceptions and responses towards the current animation films. The sample consisted of 40 children for the screening and there were 40 participants for the in-depth study. The in-depth study was conducted on 20 children (6-7years) and 10 mothers. The children were taken from two settings of government and public school. Data was collected by means of interview schedules for children and parents. The findings of the study revealed that the factors most liked by children were humour and action/ movements. Children got attracted to these aspects of the animated cartoon and aspired to be like the characters. Mostly children liked those characters who were away from reality and who did extraordinary things like flying. They also liked the helping nature of the characters. Parents found cartoons to be an important part of children's daily life. All of them wanted cartoons to provide some kind of information to the children so that they can get some value and useful information.

Education of Library and Information Science has several issues that are produced by the changing nature of the discipline and the social, economic and cultural contexts in which LIS departments function. The goal of this article is to discuss some of the common issues of LIS education in developing countries. We show that as Asian developing countries share some of the social, economic and cultural elements, they have similar issues in LIS education. Therefore, the same results could be recommended such as setting up restricted number of independent LIS schools, establishing accreditation agencies, flexibility in educational systems, more stress on research, developing in-service training, relocating the departments in new faculties, equipping the departments with new facilities, employing new and skillful staff, encouraging combination among faculty members and departments, diversifying courses and degrees, updating syllabi in an ongoing manner, taking advantage of IT, and creating and publishing LIS literature in native language.

Blurb typically is a short excerpt or description of a book that appears on the book jacket or at the back of the book. It gives a brief insight into the piece of writing. In common parlance, it gives brief information about the written as well as the content of the book. The Oxford English dictionary defines it as " a short description of a book, film or other products written for promotional purposes." The Blurb, therefore, draws attention and evokes the quest of the potential readers, thereby persuading the reader to purchase the book of their interest. For a blurb to stand out, it has to be informative as well as persuasive. The language thus, used for blurbs perform a communicative, informational and persuasive function. In the present study, using Systemic Functional Linguistics, more indicatively the tools of Ideational MetaFunction of language, blurbs have been analyzed to examine how the content in blurbs is presented to the readers to achieve its purpose. This Linguistic theory focuses on the study of languages as source of meaning which centralizes the study on discourse analysis. Also, by applying the stages of genre analysis, structural features of blurbs have been analyzed.

In current scenario, researcher and scientist are getting rapid attention in research and development in the field of natural fiber composite NFCs due to its better formability, recyclability, low cost and eco-friendly green features. This green technology of making bio-degradable composite material by using reinforcement technique focused scientists and researcher on the utilization of natural fibers as compared to synthetic fibers. Such prepared composite materials can find applications in interior housing; automotive, marine, domestic, and other applications include military, building, packaging, consumer products and construction industries for ceiling paneling, partition boards etc. Further, morphological changes by various physical or chemical treatment methods can also overcome few deficiencies of natural fibers in order to make composite materials. This paper describes the advantages of chemical treatment of natural fiber in order to make composite materials by using green technology. This paper further provides the surface modification of alkali treated prosopis juliflora fiber by using scanning electron microscope and gives the necessity of alkali treatment for further fabrication of composites. This paper further deals the detail classification of chemical bond present in alkali treated and untreated fibers by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy

Abstract: Despite India's emerging status to be one of the world's fastest developing economies as it expected to become economic superpower, the nation's image and reputation are being marred by pervasive acute poverty among substantial portions of the population and the escalation of a variety of kinds of inequality. In several societal factors, including healthcare, education, and career possibilities, women lag behind men. They are very fragile and have little resources, thus they need special care. There are around 800 maternal fatalities daily, with 20% being Indian women. The article explains how the National Rural Health Mission could contribute to the development of women's health in India.

: Among all the four skills required for a good communication, Writing skills are considered major skills as today the world has become text-oriented. Many researches are taking place now-a-days in various skills and the level of in various skills in educational institutes as well in business area. This study is an attempt to find out the problems faced while learning Writing skills by the students of five government senior secondary schools located in rural areas of Rewari District of Haryana as writing is more difficult than other skills. Introduction: in Oxford Living Dictionaries, writing is a sequence of letters, words, or symbols marked on a surface. Many researchers and theorists have been trying to define writing. One of them, the definition put forth by Brown is writing is another form of spoken language that is represented graphically and symbolically. In words of Chakraverty and Gautum writing involves cognition. It demands a lot of time for thinking and reflecting on a given topic. It requires the writer to analyze and classify the background knowledge. Same thoughts have been put forward by Nunan, he says that writing is an extremely complex, cognitive skill for everyone because in this activity the writer has to show the control of some variable simultaneously. Thus it can be concluded that writing is a process of the way people express their ideas using language symbols. While commenting upon the reasons for writing, Raimes (17) seeks our attention. He says through writing learners can learn new and unseen sentence structures or words no matter if these are right or wrong. According to him the learners find out new ways and techniques to write and express themselves. They also learn the ways to get appropriate words or structures while writing. However this is not the only purpose of writing. According to Hedge (18) the aim of successful writing is not only to produce clear and correct sentences but also to write accurately and creatively. Zamel had a different point of view and says that writing can be considered as a process of discovery of the way to compose a piece of writing.

There are multiple risk factors associated with development of the disease in the age group of 2- 15 yrs. [2]. Varied clinical presentation of the chronic otitis media ranges from Otalgia chronic Otorrhoea, irreversible destructive changes with intra and extra cranial complications and with a progressive auditory dysfunction leading to communication problem and social withdrawal. This not only affects the growth but also development of the child. The factors for high incidence of Chronic Otitis media in pediatric age group, the variation in clinical presentation in cases of Otitis media and the factors that allow acute infections within the middle ear and mastoid to develop into chronic infection is on account of morbid susceptibility. Disease is a modification in the state of health in which Susceptibility, sensitivity and the environmental circumstances play the roles. and the variation in it we owe to the individual susceptibility and sensitivity of an altered type. Susceptibility is the reaction that results when the host meets the environmental factors signs and symptoms represent the only perceptible form of evidence which signifies to us the reaction that takes place within the organism Susceptibility is important in almost all the reactions of living beings, some will react more & some will less, upon this variation of reaction depends in Homoeopathy understanding susceptibility is an important aspect in understanding the causation of the disease. Thus, a need for the basic conceptual understanding of states of susceptibility, and the correlation between susceptibility (which is qualitative) and its role in the evaluation of the disease phenomenon, expression of susceptibility in clinical presentation of chronic Otitis media is the need of time.
