Security is a fundamental component in the computing and networking technology. The first and foremost thing of every network designing, planning, building, and operating a network is the importance of a strong security policy. Network security has become more important to personal computer users, organizations, and the military. With the advent of the internet, security became a major concern. The internet structure itself allowed for many security threats to occur. Network security is becoming of great importance because of intellectual property that can be easily acquired through the internet. There are different kinds of attack that can be when sent across the network. By knowing the attack methods, allows for the appropriate security to emerge. Many businesses secure themselves from the internet by means of firewalls and encryption mechanisms. There is a large amount of personal, commercial, military, and government information on networking infrastructures worldwide and all of these required different security mechanisms. In this paper, we are trying to study most different kinds of attacks along with various different kinds of security mechanism that can be applied according to the need and architecture of the network.

This research paper presents decentralized control scheme for ALFC in a two area Power System by appreciating the performance of the methods in a single area power system. A number of modern control techniques are adopted to implement a reliable stabilizing controller. A serious attempt has been undertaken aiming at investigating the load frequency control problem in a power system consisting of two power generation unit and multiple variable load units. The robustness and reliability of the various control schemes is examined through simulations. The study has been designed for a two area interconnected power system. Using variable values for the proportional and integral gains in the controller unit, the dynamic performance of the system is improved. The used scheme is known as Automatic generation control. In which ,an interconnected system consisting of several pools, the role of the AGC is to divide the load among the system, stations and generators so as to achieve maximum economy and reasonably uniform frequency. Optimal Control System technique is applied in the control system design that is executed by minimizing the performance index of the system variables. In this paper , discuss the design of the optimal controllers for the linear systems with quadratic performance index, which is also referred to as the linear quadratic regulator. The objective of the optimal regulator design is to determine a control law u*(x,t) ,which can transfer the system from its initial state to the final state by minimizing the performance index. The performance index that is widely used is the quadratic performance index and is based on the minimum energy criterion. MATLAB codes are developed for OCS with Pole placement technique , the results of which are used to study the system step response. All these are through in Simulink based background.

The Internet of Things (IoT) make smart objects the important building blocks in the development of emergency health Problem definition II.PROPOSED METHOD care system. The IoT has various application domains and E-health- care is one of them. The IoT revolution is designing a modern emergency health care system with promising technological, economic, and social prospects. This paper surveys about developing an IoT based modern Emergency health care system. IoT technology has made a tremendous improvement in E-health care domain using its hardware like highly advanced sensors in collaboration with the cloud computing. But there is also a need of developing a proper well- organised system which could serve the society during the time of emergency health problems. So the proposed model is an IoT based system developed using embedded system hardware and cloud computing. The system is fully decentralized or distributed network controlled by the main server. Another dimension to the system is making people available the information regarding new health related scheme put forth by the government. The system is particular designed keeping into consideration the emergency health problem in rural areas but it is also applicable in urban areas with few hardware changes

Traffic Monitoring is a challenging task on crowded roads. Traffic Monitoring procedures are manual, expensive, time consuming and involve human operators. Large-scale storage and analysis of video streams were not possible due to limited availability. However, it is now possible to implement object detection and tracking, behavioral analysis of traffic patterns, number plate recognition and surveillance on video streams produced by traffic monitoring. In Big data, video datasets are so large that typical database systems are not able to store and analyses the datasets. Storing and Processing big volumes of data requires Scalability, Fault Tolerance and Availability. Thus, Big Data and Cloud computing are two compatible concepts as cloud enables big data for traffic monitoring. In this paper, we proposed vehicle detection for traffic monitoring. We have applied Support Vector Machine (SVM) machine learning algorithm for detecting vehicles.

Images and videos captured in hazy or foggy weather conditions are seriously degraded by the scattering of atmospheric particles, which directly influences the performance of outdoor computer vision systems. The existing system mainly focuses on a portion of an image which is based on retinex method and wavelet-transform methods. The problems faced by these methods are illumination issues, over brightness and edge preserving issues. Both these techniques are complex. So it cannot be implemented in real time systems. In our paper, a fast algorithm for image and video dehazing is implemented based on linear transformation by assuming that a linear relationship exists in the minimum channel between the hazy image/video frames and the haze-free image/video frames. To accurately estimate the atmospheric light, an additional channel method is proposed based on quad-tree subdivision. This algorithm can clearly and naturally recover the image and video frames especially at the edges. It can thus achieve a good effect for single image and video dehazing. This paper is applicable in computer vision systems such as urban transportation, driver assistance systems and outdoor video surveillance.

Solar energy is the most promising of the renewable energy sources in view of its apparent limitless potential. Direct solar energy has been applied to grain drying for years. The sun and wind dry crops in the field, stack or window. Artificial drying has supplemented this process to increase the harvest rate during inclement weather or to minimize field losses. This article investigates solar grain drying as one alternative. Radiant energy from the sun reaching the earth surface is known as shortwave radiation, solar radiation, solar energy or isolation. The total radiation may be direct from the sun; diffuse, scattered by the atmosphere or reflected, from adjacent surfaces. The dryer temperature and drying rate were found to be higher than the natural open sun drying method. The results showed a considerable advantage of solar dryer over the traditional open sun drying method in term of drying rate and less risk for spoilage.

Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm is a new heuristic approach mainly having three advantages; finding the true global minimum regardless of the initial parameter values, fast convergence, and using few control parameters. The biggest advantage of the differential evolution approach over other non-traditional method approach is its stability. DE algorithm is a population based algorithm like genetic algorithms using similar operators; crossover, mutation and selection. Differential evolution algorithm can be easily applied to a wide variety of real valued problems despite noisy, multimodal, multidimensional spaces which usually makes the problems very difficult for optimization. Differential evolution becomes impressive because of the parameters crossover ratio (CR) and mutation factor (F) do not require the same tuning which is necessary in many other Evolutionary Algorithms. In the present study, DE has been used to solve the various chemical engineering problems from the literature. We have compared the performance of DE algorithm to that of some other well-known versions conventional and non-conventional optimization methods. From the simulation results, it was observed that the convergence speed of DE is significantly better than the other techniques. Therefore, DE algorithm seems to be a promising approach for engineering optimization problems.

Food is the basic requirement for human being but raw form of food is not suitable for the consumption. Hence, need to cook a raw food with higher nutritional value but conventional cooking leads to environmental pollution as well as food with lower nutritional value. Solar energy is the best alternative to cook a food with higher nutritional value and it is available in abundance. The most economical, effective and simple way to utilize the solar energy for domestic purpose is solar cooking. Solar cookers are the most convenient and extensively used for cooking the food. Numerous types and designs of solar cookers are available at present. But due to the higher cooking time cycle and less effective during the cloudy weather and off-sunshine hours, the solar cookers are not popular in regular cooking or spreaded worldwide application. Thermal energy storage is essential whenever there is a mismatch between the supply and consumption of energy. Latent heat storage in a phase change material is very attractive because of its high storage density with small temperature swing. The choice of PCM plays an important role in addition to heat transfer mechanism in the PCM. Hence, the present review emphasis on the performance of solar cookers with the aid of thermal energy storage material. The possibility and performance of cooking during off sunshine hours using PCMs as storage media are collected in this study.

Independent wheel suspension system is used nowadays in almost all new modern cars. In conventional system which uses dependent suspension is not of much use as it creates more jerk in car body. Normally, when any bump or hindrance comes across vehicle, suspension system reduces the disturbance in the car. Dependent system is connected with chassis and car body frame. So with any jerk, the car body faces the disturbance. In Independent wheel vehicle suspension, the spring is connected with the wheel, which absorbs all shock and does not allow any jerk in car body. Thesis covered brief literature review on analysis of independent suspension system. First studied existing suspension design as per standard design procedure then identifying design issue in existing design by using mechanism calculation. By using CAD tool like Solid work for critical component of independent suspension for analysis purpose and according to result for conclusion.

We are increasingly dependent on services provided by computer systems and our vulnerability to computer failures is growing as a result. We would like these systems to be highly-available: they should work correctly and they should provide service without interruptions. There is a large body of research on replication techniques to implement highly-available systems. The idea is simple: instead of using a single server to implement a service, these techniques replicate the server and use an algorithm to coordinate the replicas. The algorithm provides the abstraction of a single service to the clients but the replicated server continues to provide correct service even when a fraction of the replicas fail. Therefore, the system is highly available provided the replicas are not likely to fail all at the same time.
