Abstract Water contamination by numerous toxic contaminants has become one of the gravest problems in the universe. Clean water is vital for human beings. The requirement of pure water is useful for many purposes like, drinking, preparation of food, proper hygiene and others. Appropriately, from the total number of the world population, one-half of the earth population faces severe challenges for getting clean water. About 2.1 billion people unavoidably drink water from sources having fecal contamination resulting in the death of a couple of million children once a year. To solve the shortage of clean water in the world, researchers are developing various economic technologies to decontaminate and to bring purify water. Nanomaterials-based knowledge offers a commercial and effective substitute for water purification and for reduction of decontamination. Developing nanomaterial base technologies have remarkable advantages for the reduction of antimicrobial activity and thus the power to effectively remove organic and inorganic pollutants from water. As nanomaterials exhibit notable antimicrobial and antiparasitic activities against waterborne pathogens and parasites of primary concern. Nm also demonstrates the facility to take in toxic chemicals like mercury and dyes from polluted water. Nanomaterials are being advanced to exhaust these problems and to combine two or more desirable properties for water purification. In extensive and in large scale use of nanomaterials for water purification presently may become a reality because of the improved technologies and the vast problems of the cleaned water. However, for successful commercialization of the technology, some inherent holdups need to be addressed adequately. This review discusses the potential role of nanomaterials within the purification of water.

Globally food production contributes one by fourth of the greenhouse gas emissions by anthropogenic activities. Dominance of fuel use in making hazards to the environment in the form of carbon emission is a proven fact in food producing sectors including fisheries. An assessment of carbon emission by mechanised trawl fishery in Kerala is carried out. According to the study, mechanized trawlers in the state released 0.45 million tonnes of carbon in a year exclusively through fuel use at the rate of 2.24 kg CO2 per kg of fish landed during the period of study. Total carbon emission from a mechanised trawler in a year is estimated as 206 tonnes. Comparing different length class of trawlers, it is understood that rate of carbon emission is least in very large trawlers (1.87 kg per kg of fish) followed by medium trawlers (1.98 kg per kg of fish), large trawlers (2.6 kg per kg of fish), small trawlers (single-day) (2.73 kg per kg of fish) and small trawlers (multi-day) (4.03 kg per kg of fish). Comparing single-day and multi-day trawlers of similar size, latter found to be emitting 48% more carbon per kg of fish landed.

Employee stress is a significant issue in the hospitality industry, and it is costly for employers and employees alike. Although addressing and reducing stress is both a noble goal and is capable of resulting in expense reductions for employers, the nature and quantity of hospitality employee stress is not fully understood. The first aim of this study was to identify common work stressors. The second aim was to determine whether there were differences in the types and frequency of work stressors by job type (i.e., managers v. non-managers), gender, and marital status. Hotel managers reported significantly more stressors than hourly employees. There were no significant differences by gender or marital status. The third aim was to investigate whether the various stressors were linked to hotel employee health and work outcomes. More employee and co-worker stressors were linked to more negative physical health symptoms. Also, interpersonal tensions at work were linked to lower job satisfaction and greater turnover intentions.

- The present paper deals with the effect of volume fraction of fibers on the effective thermal conductivity (keff) for polymer composites. This work sees an opportunity of enhancement on insulation capability of a typical fiber reinforced polymer composite. A mathematical correlation for the effective thermal conductivity of polymer composites reinforced with fiber is developed using the law of minimal thermal resistance and equal law of the specific equivalent thermal conductivity. To validate this mathematical model, two sets of epoxy based composites, with fiber content ranging from 0 to 15.7 vol % have been prepared by simple hand lay-up technique. For one set of composite, natural fiber i.e. banana fibers are incorporated in epoxy matrix and for another set a well-known synthetic fiber i.e. glass fiber is taken as a filler material whereas matrix material remains the same

The increased use of social media, online banking applications, as well as technological know-how by users of various age and gender groups, increases the chances of unnecessary actions such as network system blocking, phishing, and violence. People may find network outages dangerous or perhaps, in the case of a social media member, they may end up with irritating tweets, communications or messages that indicate violence, annoy victims, and warn about their activities. To prevent these incidents, machine learning can play an important role in extracting and analyzing usage activity data. This article presents the different machine learning algorithms that can be a solution to these types of problems.

Intelligent IOT based Smart Irrigation System is an automatic irrigation system developed using IoT Technology and machine learning method using KNN algorithm. The objective of the smart irrigation system is to provide adequate water required by crops by considering the moisture of soil and climate conditions thus preventing over irrigation and under irrigation without human intervention. The GSM module is used in the system to send status of the field to farmer through SMS and to save the parameters on to the cloud.

In the context of International Taxations, including cross-border investments, eliminated double Taxation became an important consideration in doing business in India and abroad specially with the double taxation aspect became omnipresent in relations to transactions involving cross-boarder investments with those foreign entities belonging to those countries with which India does not have double taxation Avoidance Agreements. To overcome difficulties faced by investors from different countries, India in new countries entered into Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA) with many countries. To overcome difficulties faced by investors from different countries, in recent years, India entered into Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements with many countries through the Income Tax Act 1961, in the year 2001. Another way of resolving disputes relating to taxes involving International transactions is through mutual agreement procedure through OECD MODEL.

In this paper introduces a Smart Device having the ability to choose a selected line colored lines. The Mechatronic Device can differentiate among different colors and choose a selected one to find its aim using Bluetoothdevics. From the android mobile, commands are given to the LFR that senses a line and endeavours itself accordingly towards the selected target by correcting the wrong moves using a simple feedback mechanism but yet very effective closed loop system. The LFR is capable of following very congested curves as it receives the continuous data from the different sensors. This LFR avoids collision and moreover, it can detect collision with obstacle sensor. This paper provides an answer to that kind of requirements where there will be multiple targets and the LFR should have the ability to choose any of the desired targets autonomously Moreover, the LFR should have another ability of avoiding collision Without the application of complex sensor like camera and processors.

Having a consensual relationship among adolescents is a common phenomena but on the contrary having a sexual relationship with consent with the same partner is considered as a taboo. Teenagers or late adolescents ( 16-19 years) behave or have different needs than an earlier generation as every generation is affected by the social, political and economic conditions of that generation. The present generation has easy access to the internet and is active in social media sites because of which they are much more aware of sex than the past generation. During the adolescent stage, there is a hormonal change and also bio-pschyo-social development because of which they have the urge to have sex. Adolescents are considered to be much more matured as compared to the previous generation yet when it comes to having consensual relationship they are have no say. The paper tries to bring about the problems which are faced by adolescents and how in case of consensual relationship only one sex is punished whereas the act is done by both the parties. The paper also discusses the progressive judgement given by the Honble Madras High Court wherein it recognizes the problem present in the criminal law statutes when it comes to consensual relationship among adolescents.
