Light transmitting concrete, known as LiTraCon concrete, is literally the brightest concrete development in recent years. Strands of optical fibers are cast by the thousands into concrete to transmit light, either natural or artificial, into all spaces surrounding the resulting translucent panels. The main theme of this project is use optical fibers in concrete, which is energy saving and green technology. It lends great energy saving in closed and non-ventilated spaces. Due to small size of the fibers, they blend into concrete becoming a component of the material like small pieces of aggregate. By using plastic optical fibers in concrete specimens, light transmission occurs through optical fibers, which make it possible to see light, shades and even colors through very thick walls. The test results showed that light transmitting concrete did not have much reduction in strength parameter when compared to conventional concrete. The present investigation aims at producing the concrete specimen by using plastic optical fiber and comparing it with conventional concrete. Different tests are carried out the concrete specimen like compressive strength test and light transmitting test. The cost of the light transmitting concrete is compared to the conventional concrete.

Metal(II) chelates of Schiff bases derived from the condensation of 4-aminoantipyrine with 2- amino 3- pyridine and characterized by 1H NMR, IR, UV-Vis and EPR spectral studies. The complexes are of the type M(X-4AAP)2 [where M = Cu(II), Co(II)), Ru(II), & VO (IV)] . The metal atom is coordinated to nitrogen and oxygen atoms of the Schiff base ligand. The free ligand and its metal complexes were screened for their antibacterial activity. The results indicate that the copper complexes are having ligand significant activity than its ligands against the some microorganisms under identical experimental conditions. They also exhibit enzymatic properties. Anticancer activity of ligands and their metal complexes and evaluated in human breast cancer cells. The preliminary bioassay indicates that the Schiff base and its complexes exhibit good inhibitory activity against the human breast adenocarcinoma cancer cell lines.

The fallacious conversation of information between the accidental region and the emergency assist line centre has played a major role for the large range of accidental deaths. If the exact place where the accident has happened and required records could be shared then the precious human existence can be saved with minimal accidental effects on the human body. Vehicle tracking is one of the technological improvements which can be used to monitor the activities of the vehicle[1], [2]. While a person is riding his/her vehicle, meets with an accident, there's a danger that the guy who has met with the accident might be afflicted by a severe damage or expire instantly if there is no person round to rescue him. The proposed gadget delivers the perfect for this problem. The gadget acts as an emergency state identity and alert system. It gathers the statistical data such as geographical location of the accidental spot and vehicle details so that it can be sent to the emergency assist line, nearest police station and to the pre-registered cell numbers, if any accident has been detected. As a consequence, the proposed device will assist the needy to reach the solution on time.

ABSTRACT This paper mainly discusses the complementary relationship between teaching literature and the role played by the four cardinal stakeholders: the students, the teacher, the syllabi / the content and the (cultural) environment. The researcher believes each one of these has a fundamental job to do. In teaching literature also these four stakeholders have to complement each other for effective teaching. The job of the student is to orient himself/ herself to the topic. The teacher has to prepare the student by warming up the teaching ambience by showing models and by offering comments. The text in the first place has an inbuilt self-sufficiency, and is prone to dynamic existence. The environment which includes culture of the classroom has a substantial role to play for the success of teaching and learning of a poem/ a literary text. The paper attempts to validate the above claim through the exemplification of a poem.

School children are prone for various musculoskeletal issues because of the load they are carrying through their backpack. They are not aware of the impact of the load which they are carrying on their health. The mode of carrying plays a significant role where a student usually neglects to attain proper posture. In India schools are focusing on students posture and growth. Although most of the schools are focusing on this still there are various schools which lacks this awareness the result is postural changes in children. If these postural changes are not corrected in the younger age, they will cause numerous musculoskeletal issues in future. We aimed at creating awareness among school going children regarding the carrying of backpack and its impact on postural changes by an educational program which was proved to be beneficial. We conclude by saying that all the schools should have awareness programs for children which help them in attaining optimal posture and prevent future postural malalignments.

Quick expansion in web development provides a way to deliver complex business solution. The rise in web depen- dency led to the increase in web application attacks. Hackers use different techniques or methods for exploiting the vulnerabilities of a web application. Based on these methods or techniques the attacks are categorized. This paper discusses some of the most prevailing attacks on web applications and various methods for detection of such attacks. Different anomaly detection techniques are used to resolve attacks as well as to attain decent security. A Intrusion detection system has been used to attain security. It is a process which is used to identify unusual activities in a computer system. When a user opens a website his or her clicks are stored in a log file. This paper highlights the survey done on different methods in web log intrusion detection. In few works certain additional features were used for live detection of anomaly which has been included in this survey.

Proteins are primary component of cell machinery and life, which are extremely important for cellular function and disease processes. Physical contacts of high specificity is established between the protein molecules due to biochemical process. From the protein protein interaction (PPI) network, various protein complexes are identified which is very important and a challenging task in computational biology for better understanding of cellular engineering. Naturally,PPI data can be depicted in the form of networks, hence it can be represented as an undirected graph of which node and edge are represented as protein and physical interaction between two protein nodes respectively. Review on various algorithms for the protein complex identification is been discussed

This paper includes the methods to find the travel pattern of the passengers. It is necessary for the transit authorities to identify their customers and provide them with well suited services. Most of the transit authorities uses automatic cash collection system such as smart card instead of ticketing system. This paper gives the information about the passengers who has travelled with a specific origin-destination and with a habitual time. This is a study to find the travel pattern with two clustering techniques. Datas from the transit authorities are used for clustering. Two clustering methods ie; k-means and density based spatial clustering of application with noise(DBSCAN) algorithm are using to cluster the passengers.

The objective of this project is to Design and Developing the VHDL Logic for "Interface Controller Unit". Interface Controller Unit is a part of ESM Receiver applications. Two important interfaces provided by Interface Controller Unit to any ESM Receiver are Gyro Interface and Radar's Interface. These interfaces are very essentially required by any ESM system as part of its functionality. The VHDL Logic required for Gyro and Radar Interfaces will be designed & developed in two modules, Gyro interface Module (GIM) and Blanking Interface module (BIM) respectively as under: The functionality of receiving the Gyro inputs from platform and measuring & providing the corrected Gyro output data to ESM System will be implemented in Gyro Interface module (GIM). As part of Radar Interface, the Interface Controller receives the trigger information from onboard radars and generates the ESM Receiver control pulses with respect to the band of interest. This functionality is implemented in the Blanking Interface module (BIM). The project is broadly segregated into two phases. In phase 1, the above said two modules will be designed and developed individually in standalone mode and integration of both the modules will be carried out during phase II. The VHDL Logic developed during phase I & II will be tested for its complete functionality in the simulated environment using Xilinx ISE Software tool.

In this paper, the low contrast color images are enhanced in two steps. Firstly the RGB image is transformed into YCbCr format. The Y component represents the luminance part of the image, which is similar to gray scale version of original image. So, only Y component is enhanced for better visualization. In Second step, the Y component is enhanced using Recursive Histogram Equalization Algorithm (RHEA). The RHEA algorithm has advantage that the image is enhanced according to exposure value. Also, the comparative analysis of existing work is done with proposed algorithm.
