 Abstract

Co-operatives occupy a place of eminence in the economic activities of the country. They have been acting as a catalyst for the social economic development in the rural areas. Perhaps next to government co-operative provides the large avenue of employment. The movement now covers about 99% of the village and 65% of the total rural population. The present study throws light on the different types of loans and deposit schemes provided by the Kavassery agricultural improvement co-operative society and various types of activities conducted by Kavassery agricultural improvement co-operative society.

 Abstract

This paper presents the new test methodology to measure the fracture toughness of the polycarbonate material and also predict the Traction-separation Law when it its subjected to in-plane(shear)mode. The new test method uses an idea of Isopescu test device to apply the shear loading to the specimen and determine the fracture toughens of the material using essential work of fracture concept in shear mode loading. The thickness of the sheet is 1.5mm and the ligament ranges from 6mm to 10mm with regular interval of 1mm.The test results shows that the energy require to break the material in shear mode is 21.40Nmm which is little bit more than the mode I fracture toughness. This study concludes that the new test method has a good potential for evaluation of mode II fracture toughness for polymer materials, still further study by making the groove on the specimen to prove pure shear mode fracture.

 Abstract

Hacking means to unauthorized access the data and information of any organization and industry. Hacking word is not too old . hacking is most dangerous for the system security and practice to modifying the features of a system. Hacking is done legally and illegally with the respective organization. Hacker attempts to check the system security and search the weak point in the system for break the system security . Hacking is done in an attempt to make malicious attacks possible. Hacking term used to refer to various activities aimed at destroy security flaws to gain the secret information and data in secured networks. Mostly hacker aim the victim system to theft the secret information and change the whole settings of the system.

 Abstract

Management of weed is one of the main factors that increase the production cost of crops. They do a reduction in yield, inefficient utilization of machinery can cause a psychological disorder in agriculture. Thus weeds need to be controlled in an efficient manner. In this paper, an image processing approach is used for detection of weed. There are two primary sections of the proposed system segmentation and specialization. Segmentation is used thresholding and for differentiation flood fill algorithm is used. The developed algorithm based on flood-fill method has been tested on various sample images and an efficient result is obtained. The overall procedure is implemented in OpenCV python.

 Abstract

It has an onboard GPS equipped autopilot system, which is capable of driving the vehicle from one point to another without human operator and also with a theft control system for an automobile, which is being used to prevent/control the theft of a vehicle. The developed system makes use of an embedded system based on GSM technology. The designed and developed system is installed in the vehicle. An interfacing mobile is also connected to the microcontroller, which is in turn, connected to the engine. Once, the vehicle is being stolen, alert SMS will be sent to the vehicle owner for further processing.

 Abstract

In mobile opportunistic social networks (MOSNs), mobile devices carried by people communicate with each other directly when they meet for proximity-based MOSN services (e.g., file sharing) without the support of infrastructures. In current methods, when nodes meet, they simply communicate with their real IDs, which leads to privacy and security concerns. Anonymizing real IDs among neighbor nodes solves such concerns. However, this prevents nodes from collecting real ID-based encountering information, which is needed to support MOSN services. In Face Change, each node continually changes its pseudonyms and parameters when communicating with neighbors nodes to hide its real ID

 Abstract

India and Pakistan faces four major wars which can induce a major threat for both the countries. Pakistan has enormous factors which can divide its relation with India. Kashmir issue the major bone of contention, has not only single issue which can make such divide. This article reflect the major issues like Religion, Islamic fundamentalism, socio political scenario and many other which can be actors for such situation. The major dialogue between these two countries either before war or after war makes no solution or alternative for such rigid challenges. The military dictatorship of Pakistan no way in a mood to solve the issues between both the countries. It is time's need that to look after many more internal problems than to focus conflict between each other.

 Abstract

The waste material utilization by construction industry is a sustainable solution to ecological and environmental problems. Concrete is one the most extensively used construction material all over the world. Many scientists and researchers are in quest for developing alternate construction material that are environment friendly and contribute towards sustainable development. Huge amount of rubber tyres waste is being generated day by day which creates the disposal problem and has many environmental issues. As this scrap rubber waste is an elastic material having less specific gravity, energy absorbent material can be used as a replacement material for obtaining lightweight concrete. In present study an attempt is made to partially replace the rubber aggregates by coarse aggregates in concrete and to study its impact on properties of concrete. A modified concrete is prepared by replacing coarse aggregates in concrete with rubber aggregates by varying the replacement proportion from 0% to 20%. It is hereby expected that utilization of this tyre rubber in concrete will reduce the requirement for conventional coarse and fine aggregates thereby resulting in conservation of natural resources.

 Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to design low power and area efficient ALU using GDI technique. Main sub modules of ALU are adder, logical unit, subtractor. This work evaluates and compares the performance & optimized area of ALU with conventional CMOS style &GDI technique the simulations are performed by using microwind tool in 90 nm technology. At first by using microwind tool the circuits are designed &simulated with CMOS technique and then with GDI technique. By comparing two designs GDI&CMOS style then GDI is an advantage of less power and less area.

 Abstract

The proposed system classifies the human chromosomes and detects chromosomal abnormalities automatically without human supervision. Chromosome image is acquired and processed, features are extracted and Linear Vector Quantization classifier is used for classification. LVQ are multiclass classification algorithm by which it improves accuracy and another advantage in LVQ is the algorithm complexity can be adjusted during training. Chromosome abnormality is a missing, extra or irregular portion of chromosomal DNA. There are two types of chromosome abnormality they are numerical abnormality and structural abnormality. Instead of 46 chromosomes there might be 45 or 47 chromosomes is type of abnormality is called numerical abnormality. Structural abnormality occurs when there is a change in the structure or components of a chromosome. In this work only numerical abnormality is detected. The chromosomes are classified according to their length, width, area, entropy, standard deviation and are compared with the normal. This system helps in identifying the chromosome abnormality and detects genetic disorders in infants.

 Abstract

In modern days Distributed Database system suffers from many difficulties. One of the most common difficulties is the environment where such kinds of systems are running on unpredictable and volatile environment. In such an environment it is difficult to produce an efficient database query plan based on information available at compilation time. This paper focuses on producing an efficient query execution plan on distributed database. Various Optimization strategies have been reviewed in this paper which are based on genetic algorithm and a new model for query optimization is proposed by replacing FCM (Fuzzy c-mean) clustering algorithm with GFCM (Geostatistical Fuzzy c-mean) clustering algorithm. Simulation result show that proposed algorithm can find optimal query execution plan in a relatively short period of time and thus improve the query efficiency.

 Abstract

Electronic Information Resources (EIRs) are supposed to have more potential for academic support in the university. Many university libraries are presently developing their library resources with substantial EIR collection like e-journals, e-books and databases through individually subscribing and/or purchasing and by accessing through different consortia along with their digitized resources created in-house. The experience of the study of the university libraries in West Bengal shows that, with the right combination of sufficient EIR collection and its delivering access, EIRs can be very helpful to the university library users in accessing required information. It is observed from this study that not all the university libraries in West Bengal have EIR collection yet. Chi square test also was applied to find out whether there was any relationship between category-wise (establishment year, type and location) distribution of the university libraries with respect to availability and non-availability of EIRs.
