Remote sensing was joined with GIS environment for land and water assets evaluation. A geographical database was stored as attributes. Demonstrating Modeling are intense apparatuses for basic leadership in the study zone. The present investigation goes for setting up suggestions for surface water development as far as best sites choice and surface overflow. GIS and multi-criteria examination were connected to find a rain fall, rain water stream area in consider territory of Darjeeling, to get the advantage for agricultural development. Simply, rainwater harvesting is the act of gathering and putting away rainwater for later utilize. Rain water harvesting (RWH) frameworks go from the extremely basic a rain barrel put under the downspout of a building's drains to more mind boggling alternatives that connect to a building's pipes framework. The training is prominent over an extensive variety of socioeconomics, from rustic plant specialists to individuals living in urban focuses. Based GIS report and land overview can execute three unique kinds of Geography. That is Farm lake development with shade balls, Storage tank and Surface spill over harvesting. This study quickly examined about finding most noteworthy rainfall territory through GIS and starting environmental arranged way to deal with construct water tank utilizing by light weight and cost cutting froth concrete tanks. Darjeeling was chosen as catchment zone to this examination and topography conditions, climates, rain fall, land study are gathered from Indian Meteorological Department.

Nowadays the electronic techniques are advanced, and smart phones are equipped with powerful processors and large memories. A smart campus can be seen as a smaller version of smart city. As it is observed that providing the data by faculties to students is difficult and also students to acquire the important notices and required files, a system is designed to view important information by the students using an application by Wi-Fi connectivity. This will help in better sharing and spread of important message or information among the campus students. The students will get required data and important message through the application and will be able to download the required files and other information. Also using the application light and fan can be controlled.

Recent wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are becoming increasingly complex with the growing network scale and the dynamic nature of wireless communications. Many measurement and diagnostic approaches depend on per-packet routing paths for accurate and fine-grained analysis of the complex network behaviors. The basic idea of iPath is to exploit high path similarity to iteratively infer long paths from short ones. A novel path inference approach to reconstructing the routing path for each received packet. IPath exploits the path similarity and uses the iterative boosting algorithm to reconstruct the routing path effectively.

Solar Photo voltaic industry is tipped to be one of the front runners in the renewable industry. Typically, PV Module manufacturers provide a linear or step warranty of 80% of original power over 20 Years. This power loss is during the field exposure is primarily attributed to the development of performance affecting defects in the PV modules. Quality inspection of PV-modules includes measurement of peak-power Pmax and internal series resistance Rs. Peak Power is defined as maximum power under standard test conditions (STC). As the peak-power can decrease due to degradation effects, a continuous quality inspection has to be realized on-site under natural ambient conditions.

This is a comparative assessment of the difficulties experienced in environmental reporting by environmental journalists in Nigeria and India. The study relied mainly on structured online interviews of twenty working journalists from each country. A survey of 500 respondents from each country was also used in the study to gauge public opinion about environmental reporting in newspapers. The study observed a similar trend in the challenges faced by environmental journalists in both countries. The results showed that environmental journalists in both countries work under some constraints from government agencies and officials, organisations and powerful individuals. Within newspapers organisations, there are internal censorship from newspaper owners and editors. Retraining of environmental journalists to equip them with the science and technicalities of environmental reporting was suggested a way to improve environmental reporting by newspapers.

The agricultural sector faces systematic annual losses due to pests and diseases. The damage caused by insect pests is one of the primary factors leading to the reduction in the production of crops.Pest insects can have adverse and damaging impacts on agricultural production, market access, the natural environment, and our lifestyle. The main objective of the research is to detect and eradicate the white grubs in agricultural crop field. An embedded system is a special-purpose computer system designed to perform a dedicated function. The research focuses on a system that automatically detects the white grubs (white worm) in a crop soil specifically for Allium cepa (onion)with help of thermocouple.

There are many factors involved in the longitudinal deformation of a bridge, but the major factors to be considered are thermal induced movements, creep and shrinkage. Therefore, the effect of thermal stresses, creep, shrinkage and the resulting movements should be considered in the design process. However, due to the lack of rational design criteria, the design engineer cannot be certain that a structure is both safe and economical. Consequently, many uneconomical structures result due to either higher initial costs of over-design or the higher maintenance costs of under-design. There is a long term deflection in continuous Pre-stressed Concrete Girders (PSC) due to creep, shrinkage and daily atmospheric temperature variation, inhibiting lower load bearing capacity. It causes decrease in service life of bridge and in the long run requires strengthening with external pre-stressing to secure its original load bearing capacity. The uniform temperature change only causes change in axial length of the member while the temperature gradient causes bending deformations. In the present investigation, the effect of temperature, creep and shrinkage is analysed for continuousPSCgirderbridges of varying spans. Stresses and deformations developed in the structure due to creep shrinkage and temperature are analysed using MIDAS Civil analysis software. The bridge structures are analysed for maximum and minimum stresses, longitudinal displacement, vertical displacement and bending moments on various spans. From the above analysis, it is observed that there is a long term deformation due to time dependent factors and also considerable amount of stresses are developed in the structure. The longitudinal deformation increases with increase in number of spans for which appropriate expansion joints are required to be provided, while the vertical deflection, moments and stresses developed gradually stabilize with the increase in number of spans beyond five spans. It is also noticed that two spans continuity is the worst scenario where flexural moments developed due to various loads are comparatively higher than other span continuity.

Internet has become the requirement for the hour. With new technologies being developed day by day the requirement for net has conjointly up, with the event of the web speed of transmission conjointly needs to extend. Li-Fi may be thought lightweight of sunshine} based mostly Wi-Fi because it uses light rather than radio waves to transmit data. And rather than Wi-Fi modems, Li-Fi might use transceiver fitted diode lamps which will light-weight a space further as transmit and receive data. Since straightforward light-weight bulbs are used, there may be multiple access points. This paper focuses on the operating of Li-Fi. The transmitter (LED) and receiver section (Photo diode) alongside ATMEGA16 we've designed and analyzed the performance. With average information rates up to 75-80kbps was achieved in indoor lamination at a distance of zero.6- 0.8m. Home Automation involves introducing the degree of automatic management to concern physics system. Li-Fi may be used for the quick increasing gadgets and to boost simpler use of sunshine. Li-Fi uses diode lights that helps in quicker and versatile information transfer transmitted through Wi-Fi.

The implementation of an automated liquid monitoring and controlling method using an IR sensor and ECG waveform can be monitored through wifi module. The IR sensor will be latch onto the drip chamber of the saline container to know the saline flow rate as well as an exact number of drops of the saline flow rate will be displayed through LCD. The IR sensor continuously sense the flow rate and if any mismatch is found, microcontroller commands the servomotor to change the circulation rate with the buzzer alert .The main cause of the heart attack is a lack of medical care at the right time. To avoid this, there is a need of regular checkup of health. In some cases it might be required to monitor ECG frequently. With the use of this portable device patient can monitor their ECG anytime, anywhere and send the report of ECG to the doctor and can efficiently communicate with the doctor. In case of any abnormality, Gmail indication will be provided to doctor and doctor may alert the patient situation. This paper presents the development of low cost, low power, portable and time saving ECG monitoring device.
