Abstract Dunaliella salina is single green algae, isolated from Sambhar Salt Lake, which has very high percentage of carotenoids. The effect of different concentration of ethidium bromide (EtBr) was studied by direct addition (in cultures) on various biopigments viz. total chlorophyll, carotenoids and Protein contents. Overall maximum amount of carotenoids was observed in culture added with 0.005% treatment level at 6th day. Carotenoid increased at 0.005 and 0.01% treatment and decreased thereafter as comparison to control. Overall Maximum chlorophyll was observed in control on 8th day. Chlorophyll was slightly reduced in EtBr addition at all treatment dose when compared to control as increase in time intervals and dose level. Overall maximum protein was observed in control on 6th day. Among all treatment dose maximum protein content was observed in 0.04% treatment dose at 8th day. The amount decrease thereafter with increase in treatment dose. In SDS PAGE there were some newly expressed polypeptide bands. There were some highly expressed polypeptide bands.

An ovarian cyst is a common gynecological problem and is divided into 2 main categories, physiological and pathological. Physiological cysts are follicular cysts and luteal cysts. Pathological cysts are considered as ovarian tumors, which might be benign, malignant, and borderline. Benign tumors are more common in young females, but malignant are more frequent in elderly females. Most ovarian cysts are asymptomatic and disappear spontaneously. When ovarian cysts are large, they may cause abdominal discomfort. There is a good evidence to suggest safety of observing even a 10 cm ovarian cyst. The aim of this study is to review cases of ovarian cysts treated at a university hospital, and to analyze the method of management and factors affecting the decision regarding the method of laparoscopy versus laparotomy.

The pulp and paper industry is one of the water intensive industries around the world which produce a large quantity of wastewater. The effluents of these industries contains heavy metals, color, pH, high amount of BOD, COD, TSS, TDS etc. and are critical to the environment if its discharged without proper treatment. Different treatment method has been discussed in many research papers to treat the paper industry waste water but the best result is given by the adsorption method of treatment as it is more versatile, effective, simple and economical in comparison to the other methods.

Online descriptive or subjective examinations are becoming internal part of many universities. During the process of online examination the main hurdle is the automatic evaluation of answer sheets. Such examinations are to evaluate the conceptual grasping level of a candidate for how much the concepts are understood in a particular subject. The conduction of University/Board level Examination System is a tedious process involving a lot of work with high risk in managing the question papers and answer scripts. We have heard of question paper getting leaked, answer papers not completed evaluated as the additional sheets were lost in handling the answer bundles and so on. The online examination with objective type questions lacks the capability of evaluating students . For candidates requiring to take up high management post it is required that they have the aptitude, in-depth knowledge and the ability to communicate and command the subordinates so that a proper functioning of the organization takes place. For this an online descriptive examinations is the only way to solve the problems and achieve the required goals. In this paper, we propose the devices that can be used by candidates with ease to answer descriptive type examinations online digitally. The descriptive exam system is based on automated system capable of evaluating the descriptive answers. The system consists of candidate login and admin login. The whole system will be controlled by the admin. After registration candidate gets exam information related to his interest. In this system, the candidate can apply for the exam, he receives his exam card through E-mail and he attends the exam and when the result should have to be declared, this decides by the administrator. The administrator arranges the exam schedule and result declaration. He also arranges the exam question papers and answer papers. The system checks paper manually also, if the exam paper checker gives wrong marks to candidate the system gives alert to him. The demo exam is also provided; the sample question and answers are also provided for the help of the candidate.

This presents a unique Weighted Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (WOFDM) system for high speed wireless communications. OFDM a popular technique and is advantageous over other modulation techniques. OFDM signals bandwidth efficiency is increased since serial data is multiplexed in to large number of orthogonal sub channels. The main drawback in OFDM system is high PAPR. To overcome this problem, WOFDM signal is used without causing any distortion in weight removing at receiver side. The performance is analyzed through simulations. According to numerical results obtained PAPR and BER of proposed scheme is reduced compared to Clipping OFDM method.

To stand up in today's highly competitive world, manufacturers need to find a way to shorten production time. The removal of the waste can improve the productivity of the company. The current work aims to address the problem of the setup time reduction for the switchover. After a literature review of SMED techniques and expansion of the traditional SMED is proposed. In these expansions, we include additional steps to better characterize the whole process of SMED application. For each step, some tools are proposed and assessed with regard to their contribution to a fair analysis. The main goal of this project is to reduce the installation time of the Component and Finishing Shop via Single Minute Exchange or Die (SMED) technology and thus improve productivity. The work is being carried out in Electrical Company. Careful observation has been made during the switchover or setup and the maximum possible internal activities have been converted to the external activities and then some activities have been executed in parallel, saving a considerable amount of time. The results of the application on the field are shown in terms of reduction of installation time and rationalization of activities, competitive on an international market, is now a reality for all companies and consequently the impact of globalization is even more tangible. That is why companies need to regain their efforts and reduce their production costs through waste disposal and productivity growth. SMED (Single Minute Exchange or Die), a tool created by Shigeo Shingo, enables waste reduction in productive processes, making it more efficient and flexible. The main reason is that strict application of the Shingo SMED methodology is not the most efficient way to shorten set-up times in all situations.

Nowadays, the numbers of road accidents are taking place in all countries. The main reason for road accidents are: Physiological and psychological limitations of drivers, limited performance of vehicles, improper road alignment, as well as harsh weather caused risks. Here, data mining can play an important role. With machine learning a driver can identify the accident-prone area or could get knowledge of the heavy traffic and road conditions. Based on that, the driver can take an alternative route. For constructing such kind of model, this paper has implemented a new framework of Chain of Road Traffic Incident (CRTI). This paper has implemented two steps for implementing CRTI 1) a support vector machine is utilized to classify leaving lane scene versus remaining in lane scene and 2) Gaussian-mixture-based hidden Markov models are developed to recognize accident versus non-accident pattern CRTI given the classified scene. Thus, this paper has implemented a framework for vehicle collision prediction and prevention is presented based on machine learning and pattern recognition technique.

Many authentication systems are being used. Authentication systems like password, pattern, biometric etc. are used. But this system has some drawbacks. Password can be easy to guess if it is small or user has written somewhere. Pattern can be guessed using shoulder surfing. Biometric system is more secured than password and pattern. But it is more threating to user physically as in some cases like which happened in Bangkok where a user's thumb was chopped off for getting his fingerprint for unlocking his car. Because of this we are going to use a known biometric system which is least used i.e. keystroke dynamics. In this the users keystroke are used for authentication. In this paper we are going to use the keystroke dynamics for person identification. We are going to use the three schemes for identifying the person who is typing. For this we are going to use the various machine learning algorithm with pairwise user coupling technique. We are going to show the performance separately as well as together. We are going to prove that user coupling technique in bottom up tree structure shows the best performance in terms of accuracy and time complexity. We are going to validate the technique using keystroke data
