ABSTRACT Coal in India is the main source of energy. Still India has no abundant powerful source of energy as coal. The colliery which is determinant for extraction of coal has a greatest contribution in strengthening the economic status of people and human development through allocating facilities, which is the bright side of colliery. It also has negative or dark side, is that condition of people after colliery era, reached at vulnerable stage due to cease of well being activities. Through the paper I highlight the critical circumstance of Asansol-Raniganj coal base villages which Is faces by the local habitats after colliery area, overlooked by researchers. With the help of survey method I find out the potential resource of village and affordability of people and after analyzing the all aspects, recommended some developmental activities which can be practiced by the local people. Possibly it will help them to reduce some extent the socio-economic extremity.

Detection of persons with mental retardation and affording them, care and management of their disabilities is an old concept in India. The concept had been translated into practice over several centuries as a community participative culture. Awareness is the most important factor in a community, without awareness changes cannot be brought in our community ethics. The present study is conducted with a view to study awareness level regarding mental retardation among college students studying B.Sc. Total 25 students were taken as a sample. The study is descriptive in nature. NIMH GEM questionnaire was administered to collect information or data from the college students. The findings indicate that majority of the respondents belong to the age group of 18-20 years i.e. 13 (52%) and majority (80%) of them are males.

ABSTRACT:- The amount of research related to financial sector reforms and challenges. A review of the literature base will help identity the topic that has been explored as will identify topics for further research. The research project collects, synthesizes and analyses both the research strategies [i.e., methodologies] and contract [e.g., topics, focus, categories] of the current literature and them discusses an agenda for future research efforts. Several people define this in a several way. GST or the Goods and Services Tax aims to remove the cascading effect of various taxes. The scary part that is most visible now is the shooting up of services tax - from 14-15% depending upon the sector to flat 18%, but the negative effect is only short term. Due to the elimination of cascading of taxes, the potential benefits of GST to Indian economy are many and would lead to a number of goods being available at a much cheaper rate. In the context of economic liberalisation and growing trend towards globalisation (external liberalisation), various banking sector reforms have been introduced in India to improve the operation efficiency and upgrade the health and financial soundness of banks so that Indian banks can meet internationally accepted standards of performance. Financial institutions encompass a broad range of business operations within the financial services sector, including banks, trust companies, insurance companies, and brokerage firms or investment dealers. Virtually everyone living in a developed economy has an ongoing or at least periodic need for the services of financial institutions. On November 8, 2016 currency notes of denominations of RS 1000 and RS 500 (specified bank notes or SBNs) valued at RS 15.4 trillion and constituting 86.9 per cent of the value of total notes in circulation, were demonetised. Demonetisation led to several changes for the financial sector which can be summarised this paper. This paper highlights the concept of success or failure of demonetization. In this paper, the study mainly focuses on the find solutions being faced by the different sectors of the Indian economy and the issue of sustainability for a better tomorrow.

Abstract: Lane detection techniques are becoming popular day by day due to its wide range of applications in intelligent transportation systems. Recently, many researchers have developed different techniques to detect the lanes in road side images. However, these techniques suffer from various issues such as poor visibility of roads, various types of roads, traffic etc. Therefore, in this paper to improve the performance of multilevel segmentation and Hough transform based lane detection technique using well-known trilateral image filter. It has an ability to improve the accuracy of lane detection algorithms further. Additionally, Hough transform has been modified to enhance the results further. Extensive analysis reveal that the proposed technique outperforms others in terms of Bit error rate, Accuracy, F-measure etc.

Agricultural ecosystems are the largest managed ecosystem in the world. The sustainable development of agriculture is significant to the reversion of dramatic loss of biological diversity in the world. Increases in the world population from 800 million at the start of the industrial revolution in 1790 to just over 7 billion today and the prospect that the human population will grow to around 9.3 billion in 2050 have created new concerns about our ability to feed the world in a sustainable manner. Entering a sustainable development path for agriculture and food seems like a daunting challenge, but it is feasible. Aspirations of maximum consumption should be replaced by patterns of optimized consumption. To address the development challenges facing humanity and the planet and for the implementation of goals of sustainable development, strong multi-sectoral cooperation will be needed.

The present scenario indicates that the demand for electricity is increasing day by day and to meet it many research are going on. Electricity generation through renewable energy sources has gained attention in the last few decades due to depleting conventional energy sources and can help in reducing dependency on fossil fuels. The principal benefit of a vertical axis wind turbine using magnetic levitation in which the rotor is floating in the air due to levitation force which is generated using magnetic repulsion so that mechanical friction is totally eliminated. This new design comprises magnetic levitation phenomenon using rare earth permanent magnets between both rotors to reduce the losses. In the levitated generator design bearings and gears are absent which provides the frictionless flow of energy minimizing noise and hence friction losses are also reduced. At the same time the soft running of some moving component ensures minimum material wear, which reduce the maintenance cost. A VAWT rotor has two types such as savonius and darrieus. Savonius wind turbine produces high torque compare to other which is useful in self-starting. In other hand darrieus rotor has high tip speed ratio useful for electrical generation. So the combination of both type rotors are used over the individual savonius or darrieus rotor would have many advantages. so they are able to operate with starting speeds as low as 1.5 m/s. Also, they can operate at winds speed exceeding upto 40 m/s. That makes the rotation possible in very low wind speeds.

Big Data is a term used to identify the datasets that cannot be managed due to their large size and complexity, with the current methodologies or data mining software tools. Big Data mining is the ability of extracting useful information from the large datasets or streams of data, that due to its volume, variability, and velocity, it was not possible before to do it. The Big Data challenge is becoming one of the most important opportunities for the next few years. In this review paper, a broad overview of the topic, its current status, its characteristics through HACE Theorem, Big Data generation and acquisition and Big Data challenges are summarised. A brief overview of the technologies of Big Data Analytics such as Hadoop and MapReduce is also presented.

Today a huge amount of energy is consumed in air conditioning and cooling units. These units use compression as their basic functionality. Compressor compresses cooling liquid thus providing cool air at the cost of huge amount of electricity. It seems the use of air conditioning is increasing pollution in the environment by releasing poisonous gases into the environment. Therefore there is a great need for developing a system which is eco friendly and have lower power requirement also reducing carbon foot print. Eco-Cooling provides a new way of cooling at optimum cost which is both eco-friendly as well as economic using peltier plates which consumes less energy and cools the surrounding space.

In Kumaun Himalaya, the temperate, evergreen blue pine forest (Pinus wallichiana L.) provides congenial environment for the growth and luxuriance of mosses and liverworts. Therefore, the present study was undertaken to study the bryodiversity between and within 80 P. wallichiana trees in Nainital, Kumaun Himalaya. In the present investigation, forty bryophyte species distributed in 23 families were recorded which were morphologically grouped into leafy liverworts (12.5%), acrocarpic mosses (25%) and pleurocarpic mosses (62.5%). The reported bryophytes showed five growth forms; tuft (23), mats (11), turf (3), pendants (2) and weft (1). The study revealed that 7 species (Bryosedgwickia aurea (Schwagr.) M. Fleisch., Cryptoleptodon flexuosus (Harv.) Ren. & Card., Ditrichum heteromallum (Hedw.) Britt., Frullania muscicola Stephani, F. dilatata subsp. subdilatata (C. Massal.) S. Hatt., F. retusa Mitt. and Lindbergia koelzii R.S. Williams) were strictly epiphytic, while the remaining species were either terrestrial and/or epilithic. The bryophyte species recorded on P. wallichiana showed maximum similarity (30-50%) with the species found on Quercus spp. of the study area. Contrary to this, minimum similarity was found between P. wallichiana and Erythrina arborescens (5%). These variations in bryodiversity may be attributed to the similarities and differences in altitude, aspect and the microclimatic nature and texture of the stems of the phorophytes.

This paper brings an idea for dual slope differential relay parameters for the various faulty conditions on the system. Differential protection of transformer is a unit type protection scheme. The protection scheme should only operate for the internal fault, and must remain stable for the external fault and during magnetizing inrush current due to energization of the transformer under no load condition and also due to external fault removal. Fast Fourier Transform technique is used to provide the operating quantity for the dual slope differential relay. A standard power system model is simulated using PSCAD/EMTDC software and is run for various internal fault and no fault conditions. The differential current obtained from the various cases is used for further analysis to distinguish internal fault from no fault conditions.

Isoperimetric literally means having equal perimeters, used especially of geometrical figures having a constant scale, used of a line on a map. In mathematics the Isoperimetric Inequality is a geometric inequality involving the surface area of a set and its volume. In this paper we have made a brief study on Isoperimetric Inequality in which we have included history, proof, and application of Isoperimetric Inequality. In the study we have also made a specification on why we consider circle with a given perimeter encloses the greatest area among all planar region.
