ABSTRACT Based on theoretical calculations, we studied 3-chloro-4-methoxybenzonitrile (3C4MBN) based dye for the application of Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs). The effects of the electron donor - deficient units on the spectra and electrochemical properties have been investigated by Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Time - Dependent DFT (TD-DFT) approaches. Further, the semiconductor TiO2 is used as a model to evaluate the photo conversion efficiency of the chosen dye architecture. This kind of 3C4MBN based metal free organic dye sensitizer is a promising sensitizer for practical DSSCs applications.

In agricultural sector, farmers in rural areas faced major problems because of illiteracy. They cannot take the advantage of internet to access the information related to farming Ancient farmer used their advanced skills and techniques to yields production from various sources, but in today's scenario farmers are striving hard to cultivate the land and yield the production. The farmers today are not the same as yesterdays and the farmers present today may not be present tomorrow. According to UNESCO report, 64% Agriculture is believed to be the backbone of Indian economy. A backbone that has been bent since a long time now as farmers are suffering huge economic losses due to climate change. But the advent of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to develop agriculture in India shows us promising ways to solve this problem. It is imperative to efficient solution for the farmers that can help them in cultivating crops which can give them a better yield and are suitable as per the present weather conditions. In this paper, we propose an android based app, e-krishi intended to address this issue. Further, it will act as a complete farmers friend helping them in taking strategic decision by suggesting them about various issues related with the cultivation of crops such as soils current nutrient status, irrigation needs, pest and disease identification, yield estimation etc. e-krishi is a cloud based application which provides both Hindi and English interfaces to 9 seek different queries in real time related with the crop cultivation. The unique features of e-krishi are its simple and user friendly interface.

MENTAL HEALTH OF B.Ed. AND M.Ed. STUDENTS ABSTRACT Mental Health and stability of the pupil teachers is a foremost requirement in order to have them self directed, balanced and providers to society. It is seen that they are aware that besides technical qualifications, sound 'Mental Health' is a prerequisite in their profession. This is also because they have to deal with stress, physical changes, adjustments and pressures. The present study aims to unravel the mental health of the pupil teacher and factors affecting it. Variables such as gender, SES, locality and stream do not appear to be affecting their knowledge and understanding of 'mental health'. The pupil teachers seem aware of the concept of mental health. The study also suggests ways to improve upon mental health through intake of a nutritive diet, self help methods such as yoga, meditation, personal care and hygiene as they add to ones self concept. However the need for a positive outlook from the attached agencies such as the institution, staff, society and government is felt. Diseases are particular and are spreading at the rate of bunches. Absence of time and obliviousness serve the colossal reason for diseases inside human and all other living creatures. Skin diseases are by a wide margin most unsafe as it spread like a parasite. Innovation is developing with store and limits. It gives in a hurry data to the client about diseases. So issue of absence of time is settled. Numerous particular strategies exist that are used so as to examine and gives ideal cure rate to skin related diseases. Level of seriousness is likewise shown through cutting edge systems display for conclusion. Methods utilized for this reason uses picture handling. The picture is dissected in stages. The underlying stage is picture pre handling. This stage divides picture into sections. The general procedure is known as segmentation. The far reaching examination and investigation of methods is exhibited through this paper.

The concept of preprocessing such as noise removal and enhancement is not limited to the field of image processing application. Medical image preprocessing is the mandatory field to provide the better visual quality of any organs and tissues. The ultrasound scanning devices uses the sound therapy for scanning the human organ. The imaging from this device is usually affected with the speckle noise. The main objective of this paper is to analyse the speckle noise from ultrasound image and to find the effective filter for removing it. We have compared four different median based denoising filters to remove the speckle noise. The comparative analysis is also made in terms of PSNR, MSE and SNR.

-Health has been acknowledged as a fundamental right of the people. This has been echoed in International Conventions on human rights. The World Health Organisation, as an organ of the United Nations, is doing its job to upgrade the quality of human life around the globe. However for Indians, the best of health concerns lies in the provision of Article 21 of the Constitution of India. When a person falls sick it is his fundamental right to seek medical treatment. It is his personal choice whether he goes for allopathy, homeopathy, or ayurvedic medicine. Since human body is very much personal, any form of violation can be treated as human rights violation. During treatment and procedures proper respect for individual patients must be shown irrespective of his status. The patient, first of all, is human being and the dignity that, a human being deserves must be upheld. To maintain good health he may deem to live in a pollution free environment. It is necessarythat the Government, the industry and citizens work together 1 .

The modern day technology requires high data rate to enhance transmission speed. Multi carrier CDMA system is a promising technique which enhances the transmission speed over single carrier technique. However, there is a major challenge in MC-CDMA system due to multi access interference (MAI) , channel inter symbol interference (ISI) due to multipath nature of channels in presence of additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN). Spreading codes play an important role in multiple access capacity of DS-CDMA system. Literature shown multiple of techniques proposed to compensate for multi access interference. Genetic algorithm is technique used in many areas for complex optimization problem. We proposed a novel method of reducing MAI for multi carrier CDMA systems and implement the system to improve the performance and reduced complexity of the system using multi objective optimization scheme based on genetic algorithm. This Thesis investigates the performance of GA based CDMA communication system. Another purpose is to estimate the signal from multiple users and thereby improving the BER rate. Simulations of the resulting system indicate an improved overall performance.

This paper proposes an interference alignment scheme for a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) users using multiuser precoding. Firstly we explain the multiple access channel (MAC) - broadcast channel (BC) duality removes the ICI using interference alignment while maximizes the total capacity of the corresponding cell, but the interference alignment is not perform explicitly to all users and the number of transmit antennas required is generally higher than the multi-user precoding. So, we propose a new approach using multi-user precoding to perform maximization capacity of users in each cell and maximize the data rate. The experimental results shows that the performance of sum rate with different SNR values.

Abstract: Today dynamic need is for business to continue, to improve productivity in a global environment where continuous change is making it difficult to compete; one of the only outlets left for making this happen is employees. However, given the employee contract as it has been redefined, it is not easy for employers to snap their fingers and simply get employees to do more. Thus, the employee engagement movement arrived as a way to solve this problem. Employee engagement has become an important driver for any organization learning, as competition intensified employers realized the significance of employee to sustain and grow in the knowledge economy.

In the past decade the online medium has evolved to be an attractive platform as a market place for making purchases of almost any commodity and committing frauds, as it offers better returns than the usual methods. The use of various hacking tools has made it even easier for anyone to implement. In the absence of approved guidelines for collection, acquisition and preservation of electronic evidences (herein after referred as EE) with respect to memory forensics (herein after referred as MF), it becomes difficult for investigative agencies to collect concrete evidences which can be vital to prove crime against the cyber criminals in the court of law. Given this, it is essential to examine the legal issues and challenges posed by the memory forensics.

Soil pollution is one of the greatest threats to the environment, especially as populations and industrial economies expand. There are studies to suggest that several plant species may be useful in reducing the migration of such pollution further down the soil column or perhaps even into the ground water. Given its widespread natural habitat, dandelions (Taraxacum officinale) are an appealing prospect for such soil remediation. The bentgrass family (genus Agrostis) is also an attractive candidate for study, as some species of this group have also been studied for metal uptake. Uptake of metals by a plant is when the plant takes the metals out of the soil and somehow stabilizes it away from the rest of the soil matrix. This experiment will examine the ability of dandelion and a native-Alaskan strain of bentgrass to uptake metal contaminants from its growth medium, which is most often soil. For purposes of the control of extraneous variables, the soil will be replaced by a hydroponic nutrient solution and glass wool for stabilization. Research of this nature is necessary for the Alaskan landscape: since this state has a colder climate than the other areas in which phytoremediation has been studied, cold-tolerant plants have rarely been studied for this ability. In addition, invasive species need to be excluded from this type of study in Alaska, as the preservation of wild flora is important to our state ecosystem. If a native species of plant with phytoremediation abilities can be found, this plant can be planted along the roadsides of Alaska to lessen the detrimental impact of pollution from vehicular traffic. Depending on the approximate location of the isolated metals, it may also be possible to harvest these plants and process them to extract the metals.

Abrasive Water Jet Machining (AWJM) is one of the recent Non-traditional manufacturing technologies in which mixture of high pressure water and Abrasive particle is used to remove the surplus material without any distortion and microstructure changes. The research works on abrasive water jet cutting is discussed in this paper. There are so many process parameters which directly influence kerf cutting edge during machining in abrasive water jet machine. Kerf cutting involves kerf width and taper angle in which kerf taper angle requires to minimize because it will creates mismatch while assemble a parts. As Process parameters such as traverse speed and stand of distance are most dominant factor which affects the taper angle. This paper also discusses the future trend of research work in the area of AWJM.
