Abstract Sacred groves are ecologically important with great heritage of genetic diversity of many local forest based plant species having medicinal, economic, cultural and religious values. The present study was aimed at documenting the wealth of plant diversity of a sacred grove. A survey was conducted to record density, species richness and diversity of woody species (trees and lianas) in the G.Ariyur sacred grove which is dedicated to Aiyanar with an area of 2.5 hectares and which is situated in Tirukkoyilur taluk of Viluppuram district, TamilNadu, South India. A total of 39 plant species representing 37 genera were recorded, belonging to 23 families. Of these, 32 (71%) species were trees and 7 (29%) species were lianas. The dominant families are: Mimosaceae (5 species), Caesalpiniaceae (4 Species) and Rutaceae (4 Species). Apocynaceae, Capparaceae, Fabaceae, Rhamnaceae, Rubiaceae, and Sapindaceae which were represented by two species each from the study site. Density, species richness and diversity of trees were recorded for the detailed study of plant diversity. The vegetation type indicates that this grove is considered to be an inland tropical dry evergreen forest.

Abstract: Today the Growth of Technology and utilization of CNC machine are Rapid increased. Numerical control is such a useful thing that can control a machine with numeric values and codes. That is what we call CNC machine, used in machining or any other automation. The commercial CNCs are bulky and so much expansive and not possible to afford by normal people in home. So the machine with computer ability and in less size mini CNCs came in. CNCs are much complex in its function. It works with the simultaneous interpretation of software and hardware. The three axis motion is controlled by Arduino Uno board with Atmega 328p microcontroller. The Arduino works here as an open source burner which burns the microcontroller with given hex codes. The CNC shield along with stepper motor drivers basically receives the signals from the Arduino board and delivers the power to the stepper motors. In this machine only G codes are used to command or instructions. G codes are language, by using this person Told computer control machine tool. The microcontroller converts G-code into a set of machine language instruction to be sent to the motor driver of the CNC plotter.

Geopolymer is a green cementitious material and has excellent mechanical properties, low energy in its production and emits less carbon dioxide. In this paper, the effect of silica fume on durability properties of fly ash based geopolymer concrete have been investigated by immersing the cubes in 2% sulphuric acid and 5% sodium chloride solutions. The resistance of specimens to chemical attackwas evaluated visually, measuring change in the weights and percent losses incompressive strength at different intervals of time. A control mix was also cast as M40 with ordinary Portland cement concrete for comparison. Percent losses in compressive strengths in the case of control (M40) and GPC3 in 2% H2SO4 at 90 d were found 36 and 8%. Percent losses in compressive strengths in the case of control (M40) and GPC3 in 5% NaCl at 90 d were 18% and about 0%.Thus the resistance of geopolymer concrete incorporating silica fume in sulphuric acid and chloride solution was significantly higher than that of the control. The cube specimens are taken of size 100 mm x 100 mm x 100 mm. Ambient curing of concrete at room temperature was adopted. In total 36 cubes were cast for different mix Id and the cube specimens are tested for their compressive strength at age of 1 day, 7 days and 28 days respectively. The result shows that geopolymer concrete cubes gains strength within 24 hours without water curing at ambient temperature. Also the strength of geopolymer concrete was increased with increase in percentage of GGBS in a mix. Thus the geopolymer concrete is considered to be an environmentally pollution free construction materials.

Surfactants are chemical products widely used in our daily life in toothpaste and other personal hygiene and cosmetic products, and in several industries. Biosurfactants are surfactants of biological origin that can be produced by microorganisms and have many advantages, such as low toxicity and high biodegradability, compared to synthetic counterparts. Unfortunately, high production costs limit the use of biosurfactants. Low-cost production is the most important factor for biosurfactants to be able to compete in the global market place. Effort was made to study the biosurfactants from bacterial species isolated from petroleum contaminated sites.

A Baghouse is a dust collector device used in large industries in order to purify exhaust gases that are released in the atmosphere. Baghouses, generally are bigger in size. Various modifications were put forth in progressing years to counter air pollution and lower the emissions of particulate matter. Although, satisfactory results were not obtained these filters are still effectively used worldwide. Different types of cleaning cycles such as mechanical shakers, reverse jet and pulse jet cycles are being used currently. In this particular project, pulse jet type baghouse has been prototyped. Our main focus is optimizing the bag filter i.e. to increase bag life, to use a fabric which is relatively cheaper and to increase filtration rate. Filter fabric used is doubled seam PTFE coated polyester felt which will be discussed.

As of late, there has been a blast of enthusiasm for mining time series databases. Similarly as with most software engineering issues, portrayal of the information is the way to productive and viable arrangements. A standout amongst the most usually utilized portrayal is piecewise direct estimate. This depiction has been used by various investigators to help bunching, arrangement, ordering and information sharing methodology of time arrangement information. An assortment of calculations have been proposed to get this portrayal, with a few calculations having been freely rediscovered a few times. In this venture, we attempt the primary broad audit and experimental examination of all proposed methods. We demonstrate that every one of these calculations have lethal defects from an information sharing point of view. We present a novel calculation that we experimentally show to be better than all others in the writing.

In India, Large amount of kitchen waste, vegetable waste, bagasse, garden waste are obtained which is given in municipal solid waste which adds to management of waste. If it can be utilized for better purposes it can reduce load to municipal solid waste management. This waste being organic in nature can be used for biogas production. This research is utilized organic waste like KW, Bagasse and GW for anaerobic digestion. Any matter which can be decomposable by the action of microorganisms in a short period of time is called biodegradable. Mostly food waste; Kitchen waste, vegetable waste, bagasse, Garden waste are biodegradable. These wastes are generally dumped in dumping sites which when degraded release carbon dioxide, methane, ammonia and hydrogen sulphide into the environment thereby contributes to air pollution and odors pollution. This paper even opens new avenue of waste to energy method of disposal of municipal waste. These waste if treated in proper method can be utilize for integrated solid waste management. Efficiency of production of biogas increases by mixing cow dung to any of these wastes. Cow dung is also easily available in rural part of India and even at urban India. Experiment work is carried out in air tight digester of six set used for digestion of kitchen waste, bagasse and garden waste with cow dung at different proportion. The result showed set 3(70:30)of Kitchen waste, set 4(80:20) of Garden waste and set 2(60:20) of bagasse was produced maximum biogas yield that gave 6 minute, 20 minute and 23 minute light.

Biogas is a combination of different gases that is an outcome of anaerobic (absence of air) digestion. It consists mainly methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) which are the main greenhouse gases. The substrate for anaerobic digester is a different kind of organic waste means it reduces a load of disposal of organic load of wastes due to the uncontrolled open dumping of organic discarded waste. There are dissimilar diseases and very bad odours during the decay of waste. There are different factors those disturb the yield of biogas by anaerobic digestion. This paper analyses different factors those affect the biogas output rate including the usage of additives, recycling of slurry and slurry filter, temperature, hydraulic retention time, particle size, C/N ratio, ph. value, dilution and consistency input, loading rate, toxicology, agitation and different pre-treatment methods and the effect of the thermal pre-treatment by using oven will be discussed.

In the image processing trade, digital image encoding and decoding are the key domain to be concerned with. The past concerns did not care about the channel optimization norms, in order that the noise and interruptions are raised more in the image oriented communications. Within this planned approach, two major algorithms are considered which provides huge support to image processing domain such as: Channel-Optimized Vector Quantization (COVQ) and Fish School Search (FSS). The dataset training principles are handled together with Codebook methods as well as channel estimations that represents the channels to be optimized. The proposed technique embeds the Fish School Search (FSS) as a Swarm Clustering Algorithm to COVQ. The planned technique embeds the Fish faculty Search (FSS) as a Swarm clump algorithmic program to COVQ. The planned system result potency is proven with results that issues a Binary symmetrical Channel (BSC) reveal the prevalence of the planned technique over typical COVQ codebook style in terms of the standard of reconstructed pictures. For all the entire system is best to perform the image encoding and decoding methodology as well as producing accurate results compare to the pat approaches. The FSS COVQ is also compared with the other image compression method called discrete cosine transform (DCT) and proved that FSS COVQ is best for image compression.

Liver cancer is a pathological disorder of human, huge number of people are been affecting with liver cancer worldwide. The early detection and diagnosis of abnormal part of liver tissue, helps the physician for curing at early stage. Medical imaging is the trending area in the field of scientific imaging. Medical image segmentation is a tedious task for extracting tumor from liver tissue due to close similarity with neighbourhood organs. Liver tumor segmentation can be achieved using various methods, but their implementation requires high level language for coding. This objective lead to the use of a graphical dataflow based programming environment within Matlab, which is Simulink, which is very easy to handle with other software and also used for real-time implementation. In this paper a novel simulink model for detecting liver tumor using multiple threshold method is proposed. The proposed methodology is facilitated by using a median filter as a image Pre-processing step, followed by multiple thresholding and finally tumor is extracted by applying most elementary morphological operations like erosion and dilation as post-processing. Dataset of CT scan liver tumor images used for testing the proposed simulink model. Finally area of perfectly extracted liver tumor is evaluated as a performance analysis using computer vision toolbox of simulink blockset.
