This paper focuses on preemption system for infrastructure like bridges. The stability of the structure is directly related to the structural strength. The structural analysis of such a bridge can be analyzed using vibration pattern and comprehensive study. MEMS based accelerometer is used to analyze the vibration patterns. The vibration signal measured by the node is communicated over WSN. Three levels of vibrations are detected. If the vibrations are in Safe level no action is taken. If the vibrations are in warning level a signal is sent to the monitoring person through RF. If the vibrations are in critical level then the bridge is closed for traffic. The inspection of building structures especially bridge structures is currently made by visual inspection. Structural health monitoring is a field that relies on different methodologies to develop procedures that characterize the dynamic properties of physical structures to identify possible deteriorations of their behaviors. The few non visual methodologies make use of wired sensor networks, which are relatively expensive, vulnerable to damage, and time consuming to install. Systems based on wireless sensor networks should be both cost efficient and easy to install, scalable and adaptive to different type of structures. Acoustic emission techniques are an additional monitoring method to investigate the status of a bridge of its components. Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems (MEMS) and hybrid sensors form the heart of network nodes

Three different floor post-tensioning floor systems have been considered for the present study are un-bonded and bonded post-tensioning for the geometry as flat slab with single and multiple span and flat slab with drop panel. Span of different length as -5mt, 6 mt, 7 mt, 8 mt, 9 mt, 10 mt. have been considered to evaluate different structural parameter. The panel of interior span is considered and model with equivalent frame method. Dead load due to self weight of the structure, live load and post-tensioned load are considered for the analysis. All analysis and design is done for the gravity load. The complete analysis and design of the floor systems have been done in the ADAPT-PT-6.0-an analysis and design programmed for reinforced and post-tensioned concrete structures. Different structural parameters like punching shear, deflection have been considered for different span of the slab. The code provision of ACI-318 have been used for analysis and design of post-tensioned members. For the comparison for bonded and unbounded post tensioning systems, parameters considered are amount of PT reinforcement, amount of non-prestressed reinforcement, slab thickness, stress developed in tendon at ultimate load.

In this proposed system, theft can be prevented using Raspberry pi and PIR sensors. In this system PIR sensors, camera, buzzer, relay, GSM module are connected to Raspberry pi. PIR sensors are able to detect the presence of human being. After detecting any person, relays are triggered to switch on the lights. As soon as lights are on, buzzer will start ringing for specified time. After lights are turned on an image will be captured using cameras. This captured image will immediately upload on the web-page, which can be used as evidence. In addition, victim receives a notification in the form of text message with help of GSM module. Power supply to this system is given by an adapter. In absence of electricity battery backup is also provided. As the lights turn on and the buzzer rings, neighborhood becomes aware about a theft. This will make the thief scared and thief would try to escape the location. Thief is not able to execute his/her plan, belongings will be safe. This system can be implemented in jewelry shops, home etc.

This study was conducted to clarify the difference in therapeutic effects between traction and yoga. Yoga is based on the structure and function of the human body because yoga practice gives special importance the relationship of the breath and the spine. The vertebral column problems like neck and back pain are very difficult to live and can affect every part of the life. Spinal column problems are treated many types of methods like physical therapy, hot/cold therapy, alternative medicine treatment, pain medications, massage are get back to normal and confortable activity. However, if tried the treatments weeks or months with reduction the pain. The physical therapy particularly the spinal traction is increase between the vertebrae, relaxing the pressure on vertebral discs, nerve roots, ligaments muscles and increase blood flow to the area making it heal much faster. The devolpment and monitoring of spinal traction was necessary for weeks or months and cost effective treatment to the patients. Many cities over India are now becoming smart cities to achieve well developed status. In process of this development and urbanization there is lack of space and food in cities where we require the concept of smart farming. To fulfil the growing need of food we are developing this smart farming project using aeroponics technique, and our main objective is to make the aeroponics technique automatic plus making the setup universal for multiple vegetable crops. In this automatic aeroponics system water and nutrition is fed to crops as per periodic cycle inside roots section. Temperature, humidity, pH and level of nutrition solution in reservoir are monitored. In absence of sunlight artificial light will be provided for photosynthesis. Overall automated system helps to reduce human efforts and increase the growth rate of plants.

The strength and durability of the concrete is dependent on curing. Self curing concrete can be used where curing is a constraint because of inadequacy of water, fluoride content in water which affects concrete characteristics and where structures cannot be accessed for curing. Poly Ethylene Glycol (PEG), Poly vinyl Alcohol (PVA), paraffin wax, acrylic acid is some of the commonly available hydrophilic materials in market. As aggregate represents about 70-80% of concrete components so it will be beneficial to recycle the aggregate for construction works and also to solve the environmental problems. To minimise the problem of excessof waste material it is a good step to utilize the recycled aggregates provide that the desired final product will meet the standards. Current practice assesses the quality of concrete based Primarily on strength. It has been suggested that the quality of concrete should be characterized not only by strength but also its durability characteristics. In the present investigation the individual effect of curing agents like PEG 600 ana PVA on strength and durability properties of concrete with varying dosages of 0.5%, 1%, 2% was investigated for M30 grade of concrete using recycled aggregate. Compressive strength, flexural strength, tensile strength and sorptivity, acid attack and permeability were evaluated to determine the strength and durability properties of hardened concrete. It was found that PEG600 and PVA could help in gaining the strength of conventional curing. The results indicate that PEG600 of dosage of 2% and PVA of dosage of 1% was optimum by giving strength on par with conventional concrete. The results indicate that self-curing concrete performs similar to the conventional concrete in all aspects of durability.

Filtering is the significant criteria to keep up power quality improvement in the three stage three wire framework.Presently active power filters are generally preferable for this reason.Taditional PI control techniques are disadvantageous in killing higher harmonics, created by the second harmonics at the DC link of a shunt APF. This paper proposes PR control strategy which invalidates second harmonics and provides better execution exactness contrasted with the conventional positive succession control technique and DC link voltage control technique separately regarding quality improvement and cost adequacy.

The greater part of the business and mechanical establishment in the nation has expansive electrical burdens which are severally inductive in nature causing slacking power factor which gives overwhelming punishments to shopper by power board. This circumstance is taken care by PFC. Power factor rectification is the limit of engrossing the reactive power created by a heap. It comprise of a small scale controller which recognizes the power factor value, if the power factor goes low it consequently associate capacitor bank to enhance it. The primary point of the model is to keep up the power factor as high as conceivable which builds the proficiency of the framework.
