After the decision of withdrawal of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes from the economy by the Indian government it was noticed that the decision has impacted the general mass heavily and in various ways. There are various factors which were impacted during and after demonetisation. It became very important to learn that on which factor there was the major impact of such a decision. The study focused on the factors namely real estate, gold rates, stock exchange, eradication of black money and illegal activities, reduction in the level of corruption, use of electronic medium for making payments which were impacted. In order to assess which factor impacted the most, mean value of each factor was computed and each factor was ranked according to the degree to which it was impacted. We found that due to demonetization, electronic modes of payment were accepted more to fight with the situation and to fulfil their daily routine requirement of short term cash and capital, reduction in corruption and illegal activities being the last making it an area of concern for all. In addition to this chi-square test was also done to check the association between the demographic profile and the level of impact on demonetization.

Abstract : Kinetic investigation of oxidative degradation of Erythrosine B (EB) a xanthene dye by chloramine - T (CAT) in acid medium was studied spectrophotometrically. The effect of variation of concentrations of the dye EB, oxidant CAT and HCl was studied at 298K. The reaction shows first order dependance on the both dye EB and the oxidant CAT. At the same time the reaction shows fractional order dependance on [H+]. Halide ions, NaClO4 and PTS shown negligible effect on rate of the reaction. The impact of variation of temperature on the rate of reaction was studied and various activation parameters were computed accordingly. The effect of dielectric constant on the rate was also investigated. A rate equation was derived and a plausible mechanism for the oxidation of EB dye by CAT was deduced.

Abstract: Instant gratification is one of the most appealing aspect of buying something. The feeling of euphoria on shopping a product is intensified by the advent of e-shopping, as whenever a customer feels an inclination or compulsion to buy can be capitalized by making use of the technology such as smartphones, tables and personal computers, through which the e-tail stores can be accessed anytime and anywhere, the resulting products will reach the customer without any physical exertion and the pain of visiting the retail store which also incurs auxiliary expenses like fuel, parking etc., Apart from satisfying the basic needs, it is suggested by various researches that, feelings and emotions of a customer plays a major role in buying decision. An e-tailer monetizes on these impulsive urges of a customer greatly by applying some clever promotional techniques to garner profits and business retention in the market. This paper attempts to study the triggering factors that induce a customer to indulge in impulsive e-shopping and analyze the consequences faced by them post their compulsive purchase. 100 samples have been collected from the compulsive e-shoppers in the Coimbatory city, in which appropriate statistical tools are used and an attempt if made to communicate the findings of the research to current and prospective e-shoppers and the suggestions will help the e-tailers to understand the plight of the customers and to apply their ethical business sense more than just profit orientation towards e-tailing.

Metals including copper, zinc, lead, cadmium, etc can cause significant damage to the environment & human health as a result of their mobilities and solubilities. Pytoremediation process is best and prudent technique than the other physical, thermal and chemical methodologies. This technology involves efficient use of aquatic plants to remove, detoxify or immobilize heavy metals. Phytoremediation is a technology to clean the environment from heavy metals contamination & various toxins. The objectives of this study are to treat copper (Cu) and Zinc (Zn) contaminated wastewater by using phytoremediation technology and to determine the appropriate proportion of the both plants i.e. Water Hyacinth & Pistia Stratiotes to be a good accumulator. The results from the present study shows that Eichhornia crassipes (water hyacinth) has a very high accumulation capacity for copper (Cu) & also other physiochemical parameters (pH, T.S.S, T.D.S, & C.O.D) were removed efficiently from industrial wastewater. Pistia Stratiotes removes great amount of Zinc (Zn) compared to Water Hyacinth. Therefore, the treatment of subsurface flow constructed wetland system can be recommended for the small scale treatment facility for removal of heavy metals from various industrial effluents as an prudent, non disruptive & eco-friendly low cost treatment system.

Abstract The role of civil aviation sector of a nation as a facilitator of social, economic, and cultural exchanges needs no exaggeration. Civil aviation plays a central role in the world trade. It acts as a catalyst to the tourism industry. It aids in the generation of employment directly and indirectly. As such, it contributes considerably to the economic growth of a country. In the last two and half decades, the Indian aviation industry has evolved from being highly regulated to a more market-driven sector because of liberalised aviation policies. In this background, the core objectives of the study are (a) To throw light on the current position of the civil aviation sector of India; and (b) To portray the future road-map of Indian civil aviation sector. The study is based on secondary data which have been obtained from different sources like journals, magazines, newspapers, reports, web resources etc. It is evident from the study that Air Passenger Traffic (APT) in India, both domestic and international, registered a positive growth from 2013-14 to 2016-17. During the period between 2006-07 and 2016-17 the capacity, measured in terms of available seat kilometre (ASK), in the domestic market recorded a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.58%. At the same period, the demand, measured in terms of revenue passenger kilometre (RPK), witnessed a CAGR of 10.03%. It is seen that in all the years SpiceJet registered the highest PLF for scheduled domestic operations. PLF less than break-even load factor (BELF) signifies that the airline is incurring losses. It is seen that in all the years IndiGo and GoAir were operating at a PLF higher than BELF. The Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) consumption registered a CAGR of 5.83% from 2006-07 to 2016-17. Financial performance of the sector is gloomy. Only IndiGo and GoAir registered operating profit in 2014-15 and 2015-16. Problems are ample, but opportunities are enormous as well. It is absolutely essential that the players in the civil aviation space of the nation view these challenges as opportunities and act accordingly for the overall development of the aviation sector.

The objective is to design c frame model for assembly operation known as hydraulic press machine. Using the concept of reverse engineering, by knowing the dimensions of the piston cylinder assembly and the product to be assembled, the C-frame has been designed keeping in mind the design specification, stress distribution, deflection. C frame is comprised of a base plate and a reciprocating piston fitted on top plate which exerts force upon component through special tool mounted on the piston. The initial modeling of the C- frame was carried out in Unigraphics software. The 3D model of the C frame is analyzed in static condition to find the stresses and deflections in the structure. By optimization, material utilized for building the structure has been reduced to decrease the volume of material utilized taking into consideration the resources available in market. Here we consider an industrial application project consisting of mass minimization of C-frame type assembly press. Solid Thinking has been used for this analysis, aim is to reduce the cost of the system, stresses, material and deflection without compromising on the quality of the output.

Diplomacy, one of the prime human techniques to administer relations between politically organized groups, has undergone a profound transformation in the past few decades, as a result of the information globalization, revolution, and the increased relevance of new non-state actors in international affairs. Diplomacy has existed from the time when the States, empires or other centres of power dealt with each other on an official basis. Several diplomatic archives have been found in Egypt dating back to the 13th century BC. Permanent diplomatic missions, that is, representations set up by one country in the territory of another, date back to the Renaissance in the 15th century. Multilateral diplomacy in the context of international organizations started to gain importance after the First World War and especially following the Second World War. In the second half of the last century the number of sovereign States in the world grew very fast, in particular in the wake of decolonization, and with this the complexity of relations between them. In addition, the number and diversity of tasks taken on by the international community have increased at an exponential rate. Diplomatic relations are themselves the object of a series of international conventions. At the Vienna Congress in 1815, the first attempt was made to codify diplomatic law at the international level. The rules which today apply throughout the world for the conduct of diplomatic affairs between States are set out in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961. In 1963, the international community also agreed at a conference in Vienna to a set of common rules on the conduct of consular relations.
