In this paper, a new lifetime distribution is introduced on the basis of SS transformation as suggested by Kumar et al. (2015). The considered baseline distribution is Lindley(?)-distribution. Some of the statistical properties of this new distribution such as MGF, Mean, Median, Skewness and Kurtosis have been studied. A real dataset has been considered and AIC, BIC, K-S test value with its p-value are calculated for this new distribution and for some other distribution too in order to show its application and superiority as compared to some other distributions

Abstract : Information technology has a developing region known as cloud computing that comes into consideration of researchers because of its wide zone of applications. Load balancing challenges confine cloud computing being received effectively in every research field. It is a system which is required to convey the dynamic workload over numerous nodes to guarantee that no single node is over-burden. Appropriate load balancing techniques results in optimal utilization of resources and enhance the performance of the system. The objective of load balancing is to limit the resource consumption which will additionally reduce energy consumption and carbon discharge rate that is the critical need of distributed computing. There is a need for deployment of new metrics in cloud computing and it requires efficient load balancing algorithm to boost up its performance and for optimal utilization of resources. The survey mostly centered on the idea of load balancing techniques in cloud computing, the existing load balancing methods, and demonstrates future directions for the researchers.

In this paper, we describe a navigation and control system for autonomous vehicles by using a traffic sign recognition module based on data received from a multi-sensor module disposed in the autonomous vehicle. A computing system of the autonomous vehicle can detect an event based on the traffic signs by retrieving data from the multi-sensor module. The multi-sensor module can recognize the traffic signs and process this information and provide it to the computing unit of the autonomous vehicle. The multi-sensor module may include image sensing unit, global positioning system, traffic detection and/or other sensing units. The traffic signs provide very valuable data about the road to make driving easy and safer. The traffic sign board specifically can be easily recognized by the multi-sensory module as well as humans because of their color and shape that are particularly different from natural environment. Further, it will be useful for the autonomous vehicle to use the traffic sign recognition system along with other sensing units to provide safe control and navigation of the autonomous vehicle. The proposed system first detects the traffic signs using color and shape sign boards and second allows the classification using a neural framework disposed in the computing unit of the autonomous vehicle. Further, the system also focuses on minimizing the rejection rate of the traffic sign boards that are not recognized because of non-standardized traffic sign in different jurisdictions. The system allows standardizing images of the sign boards and advantageously reduces the need for additional unit for standardizing the sign boards. Further, this system allows notifying, the user of the autonomous vehicle, for the traffic sign recognized by the computing system on the user interface of the autonomous vehicle.

In this work, we tackle one of the problems identified above, that of cyberbullying, which is continuously increasing in the social Web and is becoming a major threat to teenagers and adolescents. In fact, 55% of teens using social media have witnessed outright bullying via that medium. in the digital age. there has been increasing in cyberbullying against special community including the women and minorities [1]. Our project focuses on these two issues to detect bullying through test and sentiment analysis in tweets of Twitter. We use a dictionary of weighted offensive words along with the presence of pronouns or collective nouns to calculate the Offensiveness percentage in each tweet. We also make use of a Sentiment Analysis to detect sentiment of the tweets.

In the information era, gigantic amount of data have become available on hand to decision makers. Big data refers to datasets that are not only big, but also excessive in variety and velocity, which makes them laborious to handle using conventional tools and techniques. Due to the expeditious growth of such data, solutions need to be studied and provided in order to handle and extract value and knowledge from these datasets. Moreover, decision makers need to be able to gain valuable judgements from such varied and rapidly changing data, ranging from daily transactions to customer interactions and social network data. Such value can be made accessible using big data analytics, which is the implementation of new analytic techniques on big data. This paper aims to give idea about KFCG algorithm for big data. KFCG was initially prepared for normal image, audio, video data but was never optimized for big data. We prepare modification in KFCG so that it becomes suitable for big data analytics.

With the growth and importance of the administrative process in the twentieth century, administrative rule-making or legislation has assumed tremendous proportions and importance. The bulk of law which governs people has its source from the chambers of the legislative as well as from the administrative agency. It is evident in the present day, that there has been a tremendous growth in the regulatory forces which has indeed made outsourcing of law-making powers to the administrative authorities a compulsive necessity. This act as ancillary to the general-law and lays down guidelines for the proper implementation of the same. In the regime of Constitution of India, there is no room for arbitrariness and is considered to be antithesis to equality, supremacy of law and rule of law. Therefore, under this light unlimited power of delegation to the executive by the legislature may, on critical occasions, be subversive of responsible government and erosive of democratic order. Hence, the system of quasi-legislative action needs careful and radical restructuring. In India, the doctrine of Separation of Powers has not been accorded a constitutional status. Apart from the directive principle laid down in Article 50 which enjoins separation of judiciary from the executive, the constitutional scheme does not embody any formalistic and dogmatic division of powers. As a general provision, Parliament is entrusted to make the law for the union. Executive is entrusted with duty of implementation of law and judiciary is also considered to be independent under the constitutional scheme in India. However, there are many exceptions which negate the application of this doctrine.

In this study, the combustion and emission characteristics of biodiesel produced from Java plum seed oil and its blends and diesel fuel were compared. The experiments were performed in a single-cylinder direct injection diesel engine at steady-state conditions over the constant RPM (1500 RPM). During the experiments, the specific fuel consumption (SFC), pollutant emissions like hydrocarbon (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), oxides of nitrogen NOx) and smoke, and in-cylinder pressures were measured. The experimental results showed that, biodiesel blends had a 26.79 - 24% reduction in brake thermal relative to diesel fuel. On the other hand, Java plum seed biodiesel drastically increases CO, HC and smoke, while the NOx emission decreased. The combustion analysis showed that the addition of Java plum seed biodiesel to diesel fuel reduced the ignition delay period and also reduced the premixed peak. These results showed that Java plum seed biodiesel and its blends could be used without any modifications as an alternative fuel in diesel engine.

In the coming of era the digitized image is an important challenge to deal with the storage and transmission requirements of enormous data, including medical images. Compression is one of the indispensable techniques to solve this problem. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for medical image compression based on lifting base wavelet transform coupled with SPIHT (Set Partition in Hierarchical Trees) coding algorithm, of which we applied the lifting structure to improve the drawbacks of conventional wavelet transform. We compared the results with various wavelet based compression algorithm. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to traditional methods for all tested images at low bit rate. Our algorithm provides better PSNR and MSSIM values for medical images only at low bit rate.

In this study analyse the political participation of women in the First Three Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Government since 2005. The women participation especially in this area still remained very low and negligible in politics. To bring light on them, the political participation of women has the potential to change our society; it can have impact on outcomes for women and children especially in the distribution of the community resources; their participation in the peace negotiations, post-conflict reconstruction, decision-making power, political processes is to ensure the safety and protection of children and the vulnerable sections of population. On the basis of the Secondary data, the study discourse the status of women in terms of political participation such as contesting election ,receiving MPs (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) Seats, receiving Executive Members and decision-making power used in the BTC Legislative Assembly. There is a need to create acts for improving the gloomy picture of women empowerment and active political participation in the BTAD.

Conventional transmissions allow for the selection of discrete gear ratios, thus limiting the engine to providing maximum power or efficiency for limited ranges of output speed. Because the engine is forced to modulate its speed to provide continuously variable output from the transmission to the load, it operates much of the time in low power and low efficiency regimes. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is a type of transmission, however, that allows an infinitely variable ratio change within a finite range, thereby allowing the engine to continuously operate in its most efficient or highest performance range, while the transmission provides a continuously variable output to the load. The development of modern CVTs has generally focused on friction driven devices, such as those commonly used in off-road recreational vehicles, and recently in some automobiles. The thesis includes the CVT for auto gear of Automobile. CVT is very popular in four wheeler and failure analysis of critical component likes driven pulley and belt. The analysis will include the belt and driven pulley modelling in Solid Work 2015 and check failure condition in different loading condition for driven pulley and modal analysis of belt for overcome belt slippage at high speed for final result concluded.
