Indian banking is the lifeline of the nation and its people. Banking has helped in developing the vital sectors of the economy. A co- operative bank is a financial entity which belongs to its members, who are at the same time the owners and the customers of their bank. Cooperative banks are often created by person belonging to the small local or professional community or sharing a common interest. Cooperative Banking Institutions take deposit and lead money. It provides financial assistance to the people with small means to protect them from the debt trap of the money lender. Cooperative banks are organized and managed on the principal of cooperative, self- help & mutual help. To keep up in this fast changing market, traditional banks will have to adopt their digital models. Further, customers use their mobile phones and tablets to operate their bank transactions and takes hold in financial services. The cell phones are becoming vital aspect of digital strategy that banks must address.

With the development in power system the biggest challenge facing the electrical industry is power quality (PQ) issues. One of the most common power quality problem is current based issues. In order to get good quality of power these current based PQ issues have to be mitigated. In this paper DSTATCOM (Distributed Static Compensator) is used to mitigate current based power quality issues with Icos? control approach. The switching pulses for the Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) are generated from Adaptive Hysteresis Current Controller (AHCC) method. The simulation results in MATLAB/SIMULINK are used to show the effectiveness of the proposed structure and its controlling approach on the current disturbances.

This paper explores the dynamics of indebtedness amongst the farm household living in rural India. The study is based on the state level data obtained from the 70th round survey of National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO) conducted in agricultural year 2012 to 2013. The study aims to analyze the dimensions and patterns of indebtedness and causal factors behind it. In terms of access to credit, seen through the extent of indebtedness, most of the indebted farmers belong to the small and marginal categories, poor farmers with lower land holdings are much more deprived of formal sources of credit than the comparatively richer ones. Nevertheless, it is heartening to note that loans are taken mostly for income generating purposes; but it also indirectly implies that the poor are not getting access to formal sources of credit even for the income generating purposes. The research concludes that the major factors that lead to indebtedness. This situation demands urgent attention of the government, policy makers and planners to save the farmers from committing suicide and to re-boost the agricultural economy of the country.

Abstract: Like other states of India the position of women in the state of Jammu and Kashmir remained subordinate all over the state. Moreover the problems of women have been further enhanced due to age old political trauma in the state. Jammu and Kashmir is faced with an armed conflict since past 24 years. The past over two decades of conflict have deeply affected people's livelihood, their living environments, health, eating habits, their work and workplaces, their access to education and so on. But it is the women of Kashmir who have felt its impact most severely. Women are affected by its short and long-term effects and thus are among the most vulnerable groups during conflict for more reasons than just violence. Women were not given any reservation in political institutions. It was only by 73rd amendment Act that the women were given 33% of reservation. Jammu and Kashmir has introduced 33 percent reservation in its halqa panchayats through the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj (Second Amendment) Act, 2003. The political representation of women in the state is far from satisfactory due to less political consciousness and the cross fire of conflict between India and Pakistan. In this context the present paper analyses/reviews the role of women in the political arena and their growing political consciousness with special focus of identifying the causes responsible for their marginal representation in the state politics.

A high quality friendship is good for health and longetivity. Friendship is a relationship in which two people spend a great deal of time together, interact in a variety of situations, and provide emotional support to each other. A closed friend is always valued for his or her sensitivity and honesty. There is a limited literature on the role of friendship quality among adolescents. To address this gap, the present study aimed to assess the gender differences on four indices of friendship quality (closeness, help, acceptance and safety). A sample of 64 participants (32 male and 32 female) was collected for the study. Friendship Quality Scale was used as a tool to assess four dimensions of friendship. t test was used for the analysis. The mean scores indicated that females provide more safety, show more acceptance, closeness and are more helping than males. Results indicated a significant difference on closeness and help dimensions of friendship quality. No significant difference was found on safety and acceptance dimensions of friendship quality. Significant difference was also found for overall friendship quality.

In this paper we discuss a partial backlogging inventory model for deteriorating items with stock-dependent demand rate, along with the effects of inflation and time value of money. We also establish theorems to find the minimum total relevant cost and optimal order quantity. We have established an inventory model for deteriorating items with stock-dependant, time-dependent and permissible delay in payments. The optimal order quantity and minimum present value of total relevant cost are also derived. Numerical examples are used to illustrate the theorem and results.

Plastic has amazing properties of strength, durability and light weight but it has a major drawback that it can take up to 500-1000 years to naturally degrade. Waste plastic affects humans, animals and marine life, as it increases pollution enormously and also causes soil infertility where dumped. But to take the advantage of its strength, long chain molecules and light weight polymers of carbon present in the plastic, it can be combined in different composites. Several attempts has been made to mix plastic in bituminous for road construction and also laboratory studies proved that waste plastic enhances the property of the mix. In the present paper the work carried out so far is discussed.

Optimizing multimedia data over wireless network by utilizing efficient quality of service factors to improve the effectiveness of data with providing compression technique and data security. In this project, we propose a QoS-aware joint working packet scheduling algorithm and dynamic buffering algorithm to support stable multimedia data over wireless network. The proposed dynamic buffering algorithm estimates the packet loss by giving their threshold value and performs its own functions based on the information. Main aim of our project is to replace the static buffer with dynamic buffer and allocating the queue to the buffer. That minimizes the overloading of buffer and PLR ratio. Further, Compression technique is applied over the data to reduce the size of data manually and to provide the security to data over wireless network cryptography is used. The proposed scheduling algorithm continuously updates the control parameter to pursue an effective tradeoff between the quality-of-service of multimedia data and the network throughput. The packet scheduling algorithm provides priority to the packet to send over the network. The main goal of this project is to provide result as performance of QoS that will help in the design process of packet scheduler and buffering for wireless networks, aiming to get better QoS. Finally, simulation results are provided to show the performance of the proposed video streaming system.

: A broadband printed compact antenna is designed and analyzed for WLAN applications. This paper presents a low-profile, single layered rectangular printed compact microstrip patch antenna designed to operate for 2.4GHz and 4.8GHz frequency band of IEEE 802.11.a. With minor changes in the design, the same antenna can be used for broadband/GPS frequencies. Printed compact planar antennas are advantageous towards simplified configuration with high gain and broad bandwidth efficiency. The dimensions of the antenna are chosen finally as 18x7.2 mm which met the gain requirement compared to other configurations. The bandwidth of the planar antenna is enhanced by the mutual coupling between the S-strip and the T-strip. It has been demonstrated by simulation and experiment that the compact planar antenna can achieve a bandwidth of more than 50% for return loss 10 dB with an almost unchanged radiation pattern.

With the advancement of technology, high end applications have come into existence which requires high end hardware to perform their best. In the era of smart mobile devices, many users have experienced performance issues regarding these mobile devices which could not compete with the latest applications. These mobile devices require an upgrade of processor, memory, and a better performance Operation System (OS) to be able to handle resource intensive applications. In short, they need to scale up their mobile devices. Does this mean that we need a smarter phone every time an application out smarts your phone? It is absurd to buy a new phone each time in order to accommodate advancement in application. Revolution should not lead to replacement. What if we could upgrade the specifications on an existing phone ruling out the necessity for replacement? With the proliferation of mobile computing and cloud computing technologies, mobile cloud computing (MCC) has emerged as a new computing paradigm which could facilitate the above-discussed criteria. Upon this emerging concept of mobile cloud computing, we propose an application model to expand the functionality of mobile devices by outsourcing the computing task on to the cloud.

Throughout the history of human evolution, one perception of human nature has been steady which is human nature and behavior. The rigid behavior sometimes leads to conflict. Conflict happens everywhere; however, it is completely natural which results in miscommunication, the difference in opinion or perspective, different objective or limited resources. In continuation to this, the present paper tries to explore the phenomenon of spirituality in the context of conflict management. The study makes an attempt to identify the causes of organizational and personal conflict and correlates the spirituality as a tool for conflict management. The primary objective of this paper is to understand conflict, its emergence, and effect on organizational performance. The paper has a descriptive approach in nature and has been generated through the data and facts collected from secondary sources. The study further can be continued by studying a large organization and its employees to extract realistic approach in the present scenario.

In today's world maintaining the security of information is a must. LAN is generally most common & very useful network in every organization. ARP is a mapping protocols from IP to MAC.ARP has two limitations. First it is a stateless protocol. And second no authentication process required for any host of the LAN. Attacker can easily exploit these vulnerabilities. There are many exiting solutions for ARP poisoning. Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack and denial of service (DOS) on ARP are very popular attacks. This paper presents all exiting solutions of MAC poisoning. It also represents some detection techniques and some prevention techniques. It also compares some scenarios with different mechanism for example SPOF, IP flooding, message flooding etc. In this paper, we would be analyzing the existing mechanisms and the works done by the researchers in early stages. Further we would be proposing a solution that would be contributing to the wealth of the domain.
