This paper discusses the implementation of an automatic ration distribution system using RFID cards/tags. A monitoring system is proposed in which databases are to be linked with government offices, shopkeeper and the ration card holder. Distributing commodities manually takes a lot of time and there are chances of immoral activities, so to overcome this problem RFID technology can be used. In this paper RFID tags are introduced.

Robots have become a part of our daily work environment for the past few years. They are automating a wide range of daily activities in various aspects. Robotic applications have increasingly developed in health care industry, search and rescue operations, tutor our children, self-driving cars, care for our elderly, military robots in automated warfare, to provide companionship etc. Thus, robots are making our lives faster and easier. Nowadays, the potential for human-robot interaction is emerging. As these grow up to be more capable, it is obvious that they will throw an impact ethically, physically as well as emotionally on humans. They will be involved in situations where moral character will be integrated to their interactions with other sentiment animals. Robots have to get adapted to the individual to make sure that it is assisting the human morally to respect his emotions, beliefs, and dignity. This paper gives an overview on why morality of machines has become an important aspect for human beings.

Digital ?lters are used to modify the characteristic of signals in time and frequency domains hence have been recognized as primary digital signal processing element. Adaptive ?lters are widely used in many signal processing applications, such as echo cancellation, where time varying noise needs to be removed from desired signals. The conventional techniques like pipelining and parallel processing can be employed to increase the throughput. Amongst the existing adaptive filters, least mean square (LMS) based ?nite impulse response (FIR) adaptive ?lter is the most popular one due to its inherent simplicity and satisfactory convergence performance It is comprised of a ?nite-impulse-response (FIR) ?lter, coefficients of which are updated based on the input samples using least mean square (LMS) Algorithm . This paper delegates a novel pipelined architecture implementation of adaptive filter based on distributed arithmetic (DA) for typical noise cancellation applications low-power, high-throughput, and low-area. The throughput rate of the design is increased by update of parallel lookup table (LUT) and implementation of filtering and weight-update operations concurrently. The conditional signed carry-save accumulation is used in order to reduce the sampling period and area complexity for DA-based inner-product computation. Reduction of power consumption is achieved in the proposed design by utilizing a fast bit clock for carry-save accumulation but a much slower clock for all other operations. It consists of multiplexors of same number, LUT of small size, and nearly adders of half number compared to the existing design based on DA. From synthesis results & comparison table, it is clear that the throughput has increased & time delay has reduced than previous DA-based adaptive filter for filter lengths N = 2. Designing of FIR filter is done using VHDL and synthesized using Quartus II synthesis tool and Modelsim SE 6.2 simulator.

The major reasons for switching toward composite materials are due to their properties of higher specific stiffness, strength and performance that are comparable with conventional materials. Nowadays, the use of composite materials in our lives has become very common and these are found application as drive shaft, building and infrastructural system, landing gears for helicopters, furniture, transportation, rocket structures, tube structures for sports equipment, , truss structures, robot arms. In this experimental study a hybrid composite shaft was fabricated by wrapping 320 GSM carbon and 435 GSM E-glass woven fabric fibre with Araldite material, completely around aluminium tube with manufacturing method in which hand layup method aided with high pressure compressed air is productively used for the purpose that woven fabric could conform to curved surfaces. A pendulum type drop weight test set-up was construct which is able to produce low-velocity transverse impact damage on composite specimens. A total of sixteen specimens were manufactured in which four specimens from each type of composite material and four bare aluminum tubes are impacted at energy level of 10.5 J on two consecutive points whish are 50 mm apart along the longitudinal axis of specimen, twenty-four specimens in total, were tested under torsion, three point bending test. For a low velocity impact, it is notice that invisible cracks develops in carbon/glass fibre along with small conical impression occur in aluminum tube in hybrid aluminum composite tubes. Load-deflection & torque-angle of twist relation data were documented for with and without impact damage specimens and compare these data. And by the use of NaCl solution study about chemical reactivity of twill woven fabric of Carbon and Glass based aluminum composite tube. Fabric of carbon/glass wound around the aluminum tube by the use Araldite Epoxy and Hardener.

A multiplier is one of the important hardware blocks in most digital and high-performance systems such as microprocessors. With improving in technology, many researchers have tried and are trying to design multipliers which offer high speed, low power consumption and less area. However area and speed are two most important constraints. In this paper, we propose an approximate multiplier that is high speed yet energy efficient. The approach is to round the operands to the nearest exponent of two. This way the computational intensive part of the multiplication is omitted improving speed and energy consumption at the price of a small error. The proposed approach is applicable to both signed and unsigned multiplications. We propose three hardware implementations of the approximate multiplier that includes one for the unsigned and two for the signed operations. The efficiency of the proposed multiplier is evaluated by comparing its performance with those of some approximate and accurate multipliers using different design parameters. In addition, the efficacy of the proposed approximate multiplier is studied in two image processing applications, i.e., image sharpening and smoothing.

In concrete, the rice husk usedin the form of partially replacing material. The rice husk partially replaces cement in the concrete, because of having a pozzolanic property. Production of rice husk is economical and having technical advantages so that it can use in a concrete for constructional work. Rice plants and paddy industries gives rice husk in the form of by-product. We can use it in concrete as supplementary cementing material for improving the property. Use of by-product in concrete is a good idea for disposal of waste material and also good for environment, if waste are not dispose properly they pollute the environment i.e. pollute the fresh air, land areas and sea water etc. The experiment done based upon the properly use of waste pozzolanic rice husk ash by partially replacing to Ordinary Portland cement in concrete without affecting the concrete property. In this experiment cement is partially replace by weight, like 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%, find out the excess strength of concrete and also compare with the strength of the normal concrete at the days of 7days, 14days and 28days. Big Data is a large data set which can be analysed to identify necessary information in the form of patterns that usually relate to human behaviour and their interactions. This large amount of data is generated from various sources such as mobile networks. The evolution of technologies, like 5G, is expected to generate an enormous amount of data. The information generated in the mobile network can be managed and optimized with the help of technologies such as Big Data approach to Self Organized Networks (SONs) and Big Data Empowered SONs (BES). In cellular networks, due to large number of users, there is a possibility of unusual behaviour, for example anomalies in user calling activities. CADM, Call detail record based Anomaly Detection Method, is used to detect these anomalies. As this technology affects the performance and security of mobile networks, we can exploit a combination of other technologies such as baseline, K-means Clustering and PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization). The results obtained from carrying out these technologies are promising in terms of detection and false alarm rate.
