Image watermarking is the mechanism of hiding critical information in the form of logo image within original image. Information in the graphical form is represented with the help of watermarking strategies. Security concerns required updated technologies for reliability enhancements. To tackle the issue, modified discrete wavelet transformation is used in the proposed literature for watermarking. In modified approach blue component of the original images in LL band is used for decomposition using discrete wavelet transformation. The bits of information from the image are then merged within the original image. To extract the bits from the image, DWT coefficients in LL bands are calculated and then subtracted from watermarked coefficients. This will gives us original watermarked bits. In order to exhibit robustness and capacity proposed mechanism is distributed and embedded over the original image. Result is obtained in terms of peak signal to noise ratio and mean square error. Result shows improvement by 10% proving the worth of the study.

Global developments in higher education show a shift from the traditional teacher-centered model that stresses on lectures, tests and other methods of assessments towards the technology supported learning that emphasize on what students know and can actually do. To meet this challenge a new learning model called Outcome-Based Education (OBE) emerged which was adopted by many educational institutions around the world in order to promote educational reform and renew education strategy. This model emphases on extra attention towards the evaluation of learning outcomes which has resulted in new challenges for teachers and administrators. The traditional manual paper-based process of evaluation to assess the achievement of learning outcomes in a course is usually an exhaustive process. Since the assessment and evaluation is foremost measure for educational effectiveness that is required by accreditation bodies, therefore, there was need for an organized computerized system to link all the course level assignments, quizzes and other activities for the assessment. Learning Management Systems (LMS) are such systems that facilitate the capture and storage of all course related activities like, quizzes, exams, assignments, projects etc. along with the scores and evaluation of each of these activities. EvalTools LMS is one such software that has all the features that can fulfill the requirements of OBE learning model. Keeping in view the importance of LMS in OBE model, this paper discusses EvalTools LMS and its various features.

Almond, raisins, sesame seeds, spinach and turnip leaves are a combined source of beauty, alertness, food and medicine. The reason for selection of these foods is their antioxidant quality. This work is focused on the development and laboratory analysis of a food supplement which was developed from a variation of Spinach (Spinacia oleracea Linn), Turnip leaves (Brassica rapa variety rapa), Raisins (Vitis vinifera), Almonds (Prunus amygdalus) and Sesame seeds (Sesamun indicum). The different ratios of various samples were divided to get the best out of all. This judgement was made by a panel of semi- trained experts with the method of Sensory Evaluation. The sample with the most accepted sensory evaluation was then taken up for nutritional analysis was done. The results from the nutritional testing revealed the product to be energy dense, rich in proteins, fats and carbohydrate per 100g of the sample. This work has the aim of developing a food supplement for people with rich phytochemical composition with natural medicinal uses and pharmacological properties yielded by raisins, sesame seeds, almonds, spinach and turnip leaves.

Background: Many patients with organ failure die because of non-availability of donor organs. The dearth of organs could be accounted due to lack of knowledge or unwillingness to donate organs. Aim: This study was aimed at investigating the extent to which Physiotherapy College students know about organ donation, their perception & belief about donating organs, because through them the message can reach the public through their direct contact with people in the outpatient department, admission wards and medical camps. Method: Observational cross-sectional type of study was done among 210 adults (aged >= 18 yrs.) sampled by simple random sampling method. Self administered questionnaires were used to obtain information from the participants. Results: 92% of the respondents in all 4 years were followers of Hinduism, 4-5% followers of Sikhism and Islam respectively and about 3% were followers of other religions. 90% of the participating Physiotherapy students were from higher socio-economic strata. Awareness of organ donation was seen to increase from 80.29% to 100% from 1st BPT to 3rd BPT years of education. Internet was found to be the most effective source of awareness of organ donation for respondents in all the 4 years. Newspapers & Television were also found to be effective sources. Majority of the students from all the 4 years were aware about the donation of Eyes Tissues (89.2%-98.18%) & Kidney (89.28%-96.36%).Least knowledge was about the donation of pancreas. Only 8.92% of BPT 1st year students were aware about it. Conclusion: Better knowledge may ultimately translate into the act of donation. Efforts should be made to give comprehensive & appropriate education to Physiotherapists about organ donation to bridge this gap.

Cognitive Radio Sensor Network (CRSN), which incorporates the ability of cognitive radio in wireless sensor networks. Sensor nodes generally operate on batteries and therefore have strict energy restrictions. As a result, energy efficiency is also a very critical problem in the CRSN. This document focuses on energy consumption due to spectrum detection. We also present an interval time strategy of adaptive spectrum detection, in which secondary users can adjust the following spectrum detection time interval based on the results of detection of the current spectrum (i.e. channel status). And also analyze the probability of false alarm. To find an optimal spectrum detection time interval, the user's operating model is introduced. Next, establish a mathematical model based on the Markov model

This paper introduces a novel algorithm that increases the efficiency of the current cloud-based smart-parking system and develops a network architecture based on the Internet-of-Things technology. This paper proposed a system that helps users automatically find a free parking space at the least cost based on new performance metrics to calculate the user parking cost by considering the distance and the total number of free places in each car park. This cost will be used to offer a solution of finding an available parking space upon a request by the user and a solution of suggesting a new car park if the current car park is full. The simulation results show that the algorithm helps improve the probability of successful parking and minimizes the user waiting time. We also successfully implemented the proposed system in the real world. In this paper, we describe the formatting.

Listening skill is pivotal for successful communication which in turn promotes educational progress and career development. YouTube has risen to popularity among the masses within a short period of time. This article illustrates how YouTube can be used to teach listening skills to language learners. Infusing videos from YouTube in a language class makes it interesting and interactive, thus catering to the needs of the contemporary learners. YouTube videos provide audio-visual inputs to the learners. Listening and watching these videos exposes learners to various accents, speech rate, wide range of vocabulary, expressions and phrases. This exposure helps improve learners listening abilities. The students not only develop listening skills but also gain knowledge about topics which are trending on social media. While there is a massive amount of content on YouTube that can be implemented to teach listening skills, this paper focuses on how YouTube channels- BBC News Reviews and TED Talks can be utilized to teach Listening skills.

RTE, Act is a momentous step of the country for Universalising Elementary Education and to enforcement of Article 21-A of the Indian Constitution. The RTE Act 2009 stipulates age appropriate enrolment of out of school children and provisioning of Special Training for such children so that they can be at par with other children. Section -IV of RTE, Act articulates the provision of special training for the children who are above age six and have never been attended the school or attended but dropped out before completing the cycle of elementary education, then such children shall be admitted in a class appropriate to his or her age. Such children would be provided special training either non residential or residential mode for accelerated learning to be able to be admitted in the class appropriate to their age. The Act also provides for additional support to such students even after they have been admitted to regular classes till they are fully integrated to the school. The Act spells out the maximum time period for the child to receive such special training: two years and minimum period is 3 months. In short, it subsumes all the measures required to be taken to enable an out-of-school-child to join a formal school in a class appropriate to his/her age and pursue education up to class-VIII.

On the study of Uttarkashi earthquake of 19 October 1991 (MS = 7.0) had occurred in the greater Himalayas region north of the main central thrust, at an estimated depth of 12 km. The fault plane solution indicates a low-angle thrust mechanism, striking northwest, consistent with the tectonic pattern of thrusting in the region. The amplitudes and frequency content of the strong ground motions are more or less consistent with expectations for an earthquake of this magnitude in California.

Literature has the obvious onus of crossing the limitations of aesthetics. Perhaps starting from the times of Oral Literature, Literature has always carried the essence of society as its core. Thiruvalluvar in his Tirukkural and Vemana in his Satakas have attempted to form the core of social and cultural values of Indian society. Though written and rooted in the times that were past, the two poets have remained relevant to the contemporary times through their eternal thematic and stylistic concerns. Specifically, the paper tries to unravel how their concern for ethics and essence of life, expressed in utter simple yet beautiful and striking language, makes them ever-relevant and more importantly ever enticing.
