The importance of coexisting micronutrient deficiencies in developing countries is gaining recognition, prompted by the disappointing responses often observed with single micronutrient supplements. Further, of concern is the feasibility and sustainability of supplementation as a mode of delivery in poor resource settings. A cross sectional study was carried out to assess the nutritional status of adolescent girls and boys of Kanpur district. This study was conducted among 4-schools using general information, anthropometric, clinical information, dietary intake information and food habits .The study comprised of 150 adolescence boys and girls between the age group of 10-14 years of age. Iron, zinc and dietary folate deficiency are the common health problems among adolescent girls. A well balanced nutritious food should be consumed to prevent micro-nutrient efficiencies and to attain a good physical and mental well-being. Interventions like public health measures, school health programs should be implemented to address these health problems. Supplementation and fortification of foods should be done to prevent the micro-nutrient and trace element deficiencies and to improve the nutritional status of the adolescence.

Abstract - Presently the fuel stations are manually operated. In our project we are presenting a system which can automatically deduct the amount of petrol distributed from customer voucher card. In our project all vehicle drivers would have a voucher card with a specific customer ID, which can be purchased by some recharge points. The customer requiring petrol/diesel enter customer id and after verification enters required quantity. The electrical pump is turned on if nozzle is inside the petrol tank and after filling tank it automatically turned off. This system has nozzle sensor to detect the nozzle inside tank and the system keeps electrical pump OFF in any case nozzle is out of tank. The system also has fuel sensor to make electrical pump off, if tank is full and entered petrol quantity is more than tank capacity.

power quality problem is observed as a non standard voltage, current and frequency with results in failure or disturbance in operation of receiving end user machines. Disturbance in utility of networks, sensitive industrial loads and critical commercial operations faces different types of outage and service interruption which effects financial losses. After restructuring of power system and shifting trend towards distributed and dispersed generation, the problem of power quality is going to take newer structure. In developing countries like India, where the variations and fluctuation of power and frequency and many such others determinants of power system which affects power quality of distribution line are themselves a serious problem, It is very indispensable to take positive steps in this direction. The present work is to identify the notable concerns in this area and hence the measures that can improve the power quality of power are recommended. This paper propose the improvement of voltage sags, harmonics distortion and low power factor using Distribution Static Compensator (D-STATCOM). The model build on the principle of voltage source converter (VSC).The D-STATCOM injects a current into the system to appease the voltage sags,to improve harmonics disturbances and low power factor. The simulations were performed using MATLAB SIMULINK .

Coconut shell is one of the main contributors of pollution problem as a solid waste and people burn it for fire purposes which pollute air. Coconut shell used as coarse aggregate in concrete encouraged sustainable and environment friendly material in the construction field. Composites are made by combining two or more natural or artificial materials to maximize their useful properties and minimize their weaknesses and make this material useful. The Material such as cement, sand, gravel etc are using in construction is going to be out of reach day by day. First one it is a natural non-renewable material and second one it is going to be costly. Its natural abundance is decreasing on the other hand constructions are increasing. It is not easily available according to requirements. It is a matter of concern in this developing construction area. Nowadays, most of the researchers are doing on some renewable material which can reduce the cost of construction as well as increase the strength. Research on waste material such as fly ash, rice husk, slag and sludge from treatment of industrial and domestic waste is being done. Use of coconut shell in concrete is not only useful economically but also environmentally useful for human being. In this technical paper a MATLAB model is designed by using Fuzzy logic Controller to controlled the liquid level of multiple tanks system and compares the performance of each tanks system. This model is valuable for future research in tank liquid level controller industries where we need to control the nonlinearities in a nonlinear system. Here we are using fuzzy logic controller with other controllers (like PID,PI) so that the nonlinearities of the system can be controlled and a better performance of the system can be achieved.

In practical , the characteristics of signal and noise are unknown so that we hardly design a coefficient digital filter. An adaptive filter is a special category of filter that automatically changes its parameters in harmony with input signal by keeping error into account, using some optimizing algorithms. Adaptive filters find applications in various fields such as, noise and echo cancellation, system identification, channel equalization, adaptive inverse system configuration and adaptive linear prediction and so on. This research employment is based on the implementation of adaptive filtering algorithms for noise and echo cancellation Least Mean Square (LMS), Normalized Least Mean Square( NLMS), Recursive Least Square (RLS) algorithms. MATLAB is used as a Software tool. In allusion to this problem, the theory of the adaptive filter and adaptive noise cancellation are researched deeply. The Recursive Least Squares (RLS) algorithms are used in noise cancelling, comparing and analysing the result. It gradually adjusts the error functions and increases the speed of convergence. Compared to most of its competitors, RLS exhibits extremely fast convergence. However, this benefit comes at the cost of high computational complexity. This has been observed by simulation results

Abstract --- Analysis and detection of coronary artery plaque using ivus soft computing technique is very important for non- invasive imaging modalities. It can detect the risk for heart attack at very early stage and give the better results, the myocardial infarction interpretations and analysis at early stage is important to detect the possible risk of heart attack. Descriptions of region of interest (ROI) is of great importance for Cardiologist because their expectation in an image is to have better resolution that can highlight the ROI to greater extent and can also differentiate the two layers of coronary artery wall i.e. inner wall of coronary artery called the background, which is a region of vessel inner wall and outer wall is called foreground which is the region of interest i.e. plaque deposits. In this proposed paper, the CT angiogram scan has been taken and is converted to DICOM images frame by frame and then the imaging technique of image pre-processing has been applied to the CT scan DICOM images like image conversion , intensity adjustment, removal of noise and smoothening of acquired images using Mat lab techniques followed by computation of overlapping binary layer using label matrix, computation of distance transform using process of segmentation and then retrieval of features i.e. feature extraction. Usually in digital imaging and communication in medical it consists of major four steps that will be applied on acquired ivus image as pre-processing then scanned ivus medical image be segmented, extraction of features from the image and finally the ivus image classification are the digital imaging steps that will give the desired or expected output with accuracy.

Cloud computing becomes need of the hour since it provides resources and allow users to store data beyond the capacity of their machines. In case machines are out of capacity, flow control is required to save from data loss. To overcome this problem, data migration to cloud comes to rescue. Performing data migration to cloud can be a daunting task, on the same time it facilitates the IT industry to improve in terms of infrastructure and architecture. The most common driver causing migration of data centre to cloud include: Capital expenditure reduction, reduced costing process, improving scalability and flexibility and improving security of stored data over the cloud. Strategies for data migration are researched over and this paper includes those techniques for evaluating and concluding best possible strategies along with future enhancements.

The wildlife occupies an important place in our cultural and religious tradition. Our care for animal including many endangered species leaves a lot to be desired. The earliest enactments to protect wild animals in India were Elephant Preservation Act., 1879 and Wild Birds Protection Act, 1887. It is understood that preservation of wildlife is almost essential not only for animals but also for survival of human races. Due to increasing depletion of wildlife, environmental concern regarding the flora and fauna came to the lime light long after independence

This Paper is the overview of the work done for the design and analysis of the multi-storey building (G+5) under the effect of various forces acting on the building such as dead load, imposed load, wind load and seismic load. These forces acting on the building shows that if the structures are not well designed and constructed with adequate strength this may leads to the partial or complete collapse of the multi-storey structures. To ensure the safety against these various forces acting on multi-storey building, there is need to analyse and design the structures so that the structure can withstand these forces. The main objective of this work is to study the wind and seismic performance on the structures. Here in this work residential building of G+5 storied structure considered for the analysis purpose which is located in Raipur city the capital of Chhattisgarh state which comes under the zone II for the analysis of seismic load. Any structure is subjected to effects of various forces due to dead load, live load, wind forces and seismic forces throughout its life span. Static load is due to dead load and imposed load and dynamic load is due to wind load and seismic load. The whole structure analysed by the help of STAAD PRO software.
