The Brain activities are very complicated and difficult to understand. Many psychiatric disorders related to the brain are difficult to detect or identify. Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) provides the potential to study brain function. The basic signal of fMRI depends upon the blood-oxygen-level-dependent (BOLD) effect which helps to study human brain functions. The purpose of Clustering Technique is to understand the complex interaction patterns among brain regions as well as identify brain disorders. To detect clusters of objects with similar interaction patterns we proposed a partitioning clustering algorithm that is propose K-means (KM), an efficient algorithm for partitioning clustering. The K-means (KM), an efficient algorithm which begins with an initial guess to the cluster centers, and iteratively refines them an efficient algorithm for partitioning clustering.

Kurt Vonnegut is an American author, who imbued his works with satire, gallows humour and science fiction; the last of which holds pre-eminence in the current research paper. A philosophical rejection of grand narratives and central ideas in “2BR02B” echoes the structuring of the narrative along the lines of postmodernist thought. Additionally, multiple voices work in tandem to dispel indoctrination of singular notion(s). A postmodern assessment of the short story is expected to result in understanding the interplay of elements of time, art and (im)mortality in Vonnegut’s prose piece.

The use of ICT in teaching-learning process is a familiar process today. ICT based methodology helps students in : E-learning, e-communication, quick access to information, online student registration, online advertisement, reduced burden of keeping hardcopy, networking with resourceful persons, etc .This empirical study aimed at finding out the probability of ICT methodology to make teaching- learning effective in higher institutions in Kerala. A survey was employed and in order to empirically investigate the study. The findings of this study revealed that students and teachers had a strong desire to integrate ICT into teaching-learning processes. To identify the usefulness of ICT oriented methodology, the investigators adopted pre test and post test based on un equivalent group design. The sample consisted of 68 degree students from different colleges under the University of Calicut, Kerala. The effectiveness of the methodology is identified by comparing the pre test and post test mean scores using t-test. The result shows that ICT oriented methodology is superior to existing strategy of chemistry learning.

The air cooler and room heater are widely used in the world simultaneously in both summer and winter season. These electrical devices consumed more electrical power and it is not benefit for the poor people. In practice power shortage is also occurred. These problems are rectified by modification of air cooler. In summer season, it gives of cold air in the room and in winter season, it gives heating air through heating coil. In this project the cooling of air by using brine solution through copper tube and hot air by using heating coil. A refrigerant which is circulated in the copper tube for the purpose of reducing the heat in the surrounding environment, where it is of great importance in widely distributed villages with little or no rural electrification and also in the urban areas where power shortage is often in practice.

Privacy is the main issue that is faced in Big data especially which includes the sensitive data. When it comes for sharing or publishing of these data then the privacy breach is occurred to overcome this issue we are focusing on the anonymization of the data. There are two generally-embraced ways to overcome privacy breach they are Data Encryption and Anonymization. Our goal is to achieve zero tolerance security on a signi?cant amount of data. This paper mainly speaks about the data anonymization using the bigdata frameworks and Cassandra database.

College ERP system provides a simple interface for maintenance of diff- erent student, department, faculties, library and others information. All the colleges have number of departments and educational modules such as courses, student information, attendance system, results , notices etc. Managing all these depar- tments and other modules manually is a very difficult and hard, ineffective and expensive task. So here we propose an ERP system for college with generation of digitally signed documents. Our college ERP system has all the information about the students, teachers, events, departments and other respected information. The system allows the admin to add students, faculties and any other events. Our system allows a faculty to enter or input students attendance into the database which can later be viewed by students and faculties. The students can view his/her attendance through a separate student login. The admin can upload the notices and other functionality. These systems have easy user interface and have powerful data mangement system which makes this system is very useful. Our system also provides online document generation which are authenticated by digital signature using MD5(Hashing Algorithm) which are signed by Admin and is automatically sent over registered email address of the student, Also dummy payment gateway to just showcase online fee payment of exams. With this feature an add-on feature of uploading andsolving MCQ Test over an ERP and E-library where all the e-books, pdfs, pptx which will be available for students to read and download as well.

Spirituality and its relationship to leadership in the workplace is a compelling issue for management practitioners and researchers. The field of study is still in its formative stage and as such is marked by differences in definitions and other similar characteristics of an emerging field. Much of what has been written on this subject has appeared in general, rather than academic publications and consequently may lack rigor. The model proposed here revolves around the fact that in an organization, there can exist various types of climate, like, safety climate, innovation climate, sales climate, etc. Here, I have focused on spiritual climate of teams fostered by a spiritual aspect of leadership in an organization.

Bio-waste from food processing and other household related sources like flowers/ornamentals are a menace as they surely end up in landfills or dumpsters. Specially, food waste and floral ornamentals from a marriage/party hall are bigger sources for dumpsters. Getting piled up routinely, these biological wastes are degraded by anaerobic microbes resulting in an unpleasant stunk leading to compromised elegance of the surroundings. Interestingly, the plant parts considered waste are in fact rich sources of bioactive principles with greater therapeutic potential for various ailments. The wastes usually include peel, leaves, seeds of vegetables and petals of old flowers. Most of these plant products have been indicated to possess considerable quantities of various phytochemicals with potential biological activities. Owing to the marked rise in the food industry activities, there is an enormous scale of food waste generated globally. Quercetin, gallic acid, ferulic acid, resveratrol are a few popular examples of phytochemicals reported among biological wastes like peels of banana, orange, apple, seeds of guava, avocado, and petals of lilies and roses which are usually generated at home. These bioactives/ nutraceuticals have been indicated to possess significant biological activities ranging from antioxidant to anticancer properties. Numerous secondary metabolites, minerals and vitamins have been extracted from food waste, using various extraction approaches. Shortly, these approaches could provide an innovative approach to increase the production of specific compounds for use as nutraceuticals/functional food. However, there is an urgent need for a meticulous awareness program for processing these wastes at the household and locality levels. There is constant research for exploring the utilization of these bioactive by-products, to prevent pollution and related adversities. Here we review a definite list of plant wastes generated at home and their pharmaceutical propensities.

A noninvasive computer-aided-theragnosis (CAT) system was developed for the early therapeutic cancer response assessment in patients with locally advanced breast cancer (LABC) treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The proposed CAT system was based on multi-parametric quantitative ultrasound (QUS) spectroscopic methods in conjunction with advanced machine learning techniques. Specifically, a kernel-based metric named maximum mean discrepancy (MMD), a technique for learning from imbalanced data based on random undersampling, and supervised learning were investigated with response-monitoring data from LABC patients. The CAT system was tested on 56 patients using statistical significance tests and leave-one-subject-out classification techniques. Textural features using state-of-the-art local binary patterns (LBP), and gray-scale intensity features were extracted from the spectral parametric maps in the proposed CAT system. The system indicated significant differences in changes between the responding and non-responding patient populations as well as high accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity in discriminating between the twopatient groups early after the start of treatment, i.e., on weeks 1 and 4 of several months of treatment. The proposed CAT system achieved an accuracy of 85%, 87%, and 90% on weeks 1, 4 and 8, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of developed CAT system for the same times was 85%, 95%, 90% and 85%, 85%, 91%, respectively. The proposed CAT system thus establishes a noninvasive framework for monitoring cancer treatment response in tumors using clinical ultrasound imaging in conjunction with machine learning techniques. Such a framework can potentially facilitate the detection of refractory responses in patients to treatment early on during a course of therapy to enable possibly switching to more efficacious treatments.

The goal is to create an assistant for ultrasound guided femoral nerve block. By segmenting and visualizing the important structures such as the femoral artery, we hope to improve the success of these procedures. This article is the first step towards this goal and presents novel real-time methods for identifying and reconstructing the femoral artery, and registering a model of the surrounding anatomy to the ultrasound images. The femoral artery is modelled as an ellipse. The artery is first detected by a novel algorithm which initializes the artery tracking. This algorithm is completely automatic and requires no user interaction. Artery tracking is achieved with a Kalman filter. The 3D artery is reconstructed in real-time with a novel algorithm and a tracked ultrasound probe. A mesh model of the surrounding anatomy was created from a CT data set. Registration of this model is achieved by landmark registration using the center points from the artery tracking and the femoral artery center line of the model. The artery detection method was able to automatically detect the femoral artery and initialize the tracking in all 48 ultrasound sequences.

Recently, roboticists initiated inculcating morality in technologies to develop so-called ethical robots. This ethics in technology concerns the utility of methods, algorithms and tools required to endow artificial autonomous agents with the capability of being ethically aware. Robotic actions are completely in the hands of designers of the systems or those who deploy them. Engineers are always concerned about safety and reliability in their design of intelligent systems. They need to apply complex technologies to make the robots behave under different set of inputs accordingly. Sophisticated robots should possess the capacity of assessing and responding to moral considerations. However, engineers who design functionally moral robots face many constraints due to limitations of present-day technology. This paper gives a brief overview of different technical approaches that plays a major role in developing moral agents.
