A powerful medical herb, milk thistle (Silybum marianum) has long been used to enhance liver, spleen, and kidney functions, promote milk production, alleviate period cramps, reduce depression, and diminish gallstones and jaundice. Milk thistle may greatly enhance carcass components, body weight, and feed intake in quail diets, according to studies. When added to Japanese quail diets, milk thistle powder enhanced carcass components, body weight, and feed intake. Along with a drop in HDL, ALT, and AST, blood components including albumin and total protein also improved. Plasma's antioxidant total was likewise markedly enhanced by the addition of milk thistle levels. Silymarin consumption in quail diets raised albumin, vitamin D3, and white blood cell counts. Even in poor conditions, milk thistle is still a crop that may be utilized for a variety of reasons, despite the increased interest in natural medicine, herbal food supplements, and livestock feeding. Common agronomic procedures are difficult to use because of a number of unresolved difficulties, including the species' physiological and morphological characteristics that are similar to those of non-domesticated plants. Another significant barrier to the dissemination of this crop among farmers is the absence of trustworthy field data needed to establish appropriate planting practices. The purpose of this study is to provide current knowledge on the primary morphological and phytochemical properties, agronomic aspects, and new applications of milk thistle. In order to assist farmers in growing this difficult and resource-rich crop, it also fills in technical knowledge gaps and specifies additional objectives for experimental activities.

In this modern era, though we have reached the heights of technology, there are still many countries with a vast population where the necessities of people are not appropriately met. There is no efficient traffic control, no adequate schools, hospitals, and many other emergency services in the right place. Advertising to the same distribution should be fair so that citizens from that region or adjacent regions can access services without facing any issues. Network Analysis of Road networks can help to analyze the city's public transportation and connectivity of various places effectively. In this work, network analysis is done on a Metropolitan city in India named 'Hyderabad' and the national highway road network in India. The performance metrics of the Road network are determined based on different centrality measures such as degree, edge-betweenness, betweenness, and eigenvector centralities. This work will provide a very clear description of the road network's negative and positive impacts. These centrality measures help determine the narrow road junctions and the location of public services in the city.

Medicinal plants are widely used in the treatment of skin diseases. Topical application of gels at pathological sites offer faster release of a drug to site of action. The poly herbal gel of Curcuma longa, Curcuma caesia and amada showed anti-inflammatory activity in paw edema. Among the three distinct phases of inflammation, the last phase is considered to be the most clinically effective phase to access the anti-inflammatory drugs. It was concluded that the response of PHGs treated group animals in the first phase (1 h) after the post treatment was found to be less effective as compared to standard drug treated animals. It might be possibly due to inadequate release of histamine and serotonin. The anti-inflammatory effect was found to be consistent in the second phase (1-2 h) in all treatment group with maximum effect by standard drug treated animals that possibly indicated the release of phase two mediator. However the PHGs treated group animals at all dose level were found to be effective in phase three (2-3 h), corresponding with the significant release for phase 3 mediators.

Abstract This paper explores the interconnections between cultural trauma and post-colonial identity through an analysis of Alice Walker's Possessing the Secret of Joy. The study examines how the novel portrays personal and collective suffering resulting from colonialism, slavery, and patriarchal practices such as female genital mutilation. It highlights the protagonist's journey as a reflection of the complex interplay between individual trauma and communal memory, illustrating how storytelling serves as a therapeutic tool for healing and resilience. The analysis addresses the intersections of race, gender, and historical oppression, situating Walker's work within the broader discourse of post-colonial literature. By emphasizing the reconstruction of memory as an act of resistance and transformation, the paper underscores the novel's critique of cultural and epistemic violence and its advocacy for collective healing and empowerment.
