 Abstract

COVID19 is caused by the virus that affects the respiratory system leading to difficulty in breathing, head ache, loss of smell and taste, fever, dry cough, fatigue to the affected person. It also infects the healthy individual through the droplets of infected person. No antiviral agents are effective against COVID 19. During first and second wave of COVID 19 Antivirals such as Ivermectin, Remdesivir, Ritonavir, Lopinavir and Antimalarials such as Hydroxychloroquine was administrated for number of patients who are suffering with COVID 19 but these drugs does not decrease the replication of SARS COV virus and no relief to the patients from the symptoms and no decrease in mortality rate after use of Antivirals and Antimalarials. Still, clinical trails are going on for certain medications such as Janus kinase Inhibitors, Monoclonal antibodies, IL 6 inhibitors, Steroids which are recommended by WHO and drug (oral pills) Paxlovid, Molnupiravir (presently reviewed by Health Science Authority) which was authorised by US FDA. This review article contains the Medications, Mechanism of action, Dose, Dosage form, Frequency, Drug interaction of Paxlovid, Contraindications and Use of drugs based on severity of infection and Information on clinical trials of paxlovid.  Abstract

Aliskiren (brand names Tekturna and Rasilez) is the first in a class of drugs called direct renin inhibitors. It is used for essential (primary) hypertension. While used for high blood pressure, other better studied medications are typically recommended due to concerns of higher side effects and less evidence of benefit. In December 2011, Novartis halted a trial of the drug after discovering increased nonfatal stroke, kidney complications, high blood potassium, and low blood pressure in people with diabetes and kidney problems. As a result, in 2012: A new contraindication was added to the product label concerning the use of aliskiren with angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) or angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) in patients with diabetes because of the risk of kidney impairment, low blood pressure, and high levels of potassium in the blood. A warning to avoid use of aliskiren with ARBs or ACEIs was also added for patients with moderate to severe kidney impairment (i.e., where glomerular filtration rate is less than 60 ml/min). Novartis decided to stop marketing Valturna (aliskiren/valsartan). Aliskiren was co-developed by the Swiss pharmaceutical companies Novartis and Speedel.

 Abstract

Since there have been more terrorist attacks in recent years due to technological improvement, it is necessary to take into account the dynamic effects of blast loading, such as wind and seismic load. The primary goal of this dissertation is to analyse different types of building system response against blast effects and blast loads that a structure might be exposed to, assess its vulnerability, and offer recommendations to the structural engineers on how to economically reduce the impact of blast on a structure while still protecting people and infrastructure from explosion. Total nine different models have been analysed as per IS 4991:1968 code provisions along with other lateral forces. Conventional RCC system, inverted V-type bracings and shear wall performance have been studied through Etabs models to check behaviour against blast loadings, an analysis of a 30-story building is conducted, and the impact of blast loading and standoff distance on the displacement and storey drift is explored. First, a basic explanation of explosives and different types of explosions. To further explain the effects of explosives on buildings, the general aspects of the explosion process have been provided. Understanding explosives and explosion characteristics better will help us create blast-resistant building designs much more effectively. Both an architectural and a structural approach is used to highlight key methods for enhancing a building's capacity to protect against explosive consequences.

 Abstract

Teams are performance oriented and target-based association of individuals. It generally performs better in achieving the set target than individuals working on their own. The reason lies in its collective power to coordinate the work efficiently and bring the best out of each team members. Team members collaborates with each other to nurture innovation, creativity and mutual understanding, all the while attempting to reach the pre-determined objectives., but if handled inappropriately, it may lead to wastage of time, efforts and resources. With this in consideration, this paper attempts to enumerate the factors affecting the team dynamics, i.e., how the team functions. The paper also tries to conceptualize the role of Performance Management System in improving team dynamics. Performance Management System (PMS) is an organization wide HR strategy that is intended to mainstream the individual goals with that of organizational goals and continuously monitoring the performance to give feedback and rewarding the same. It would be helpful in gaining insights into how team management is accommodated in PMS and how it influences the team dynamics.

 Abstract

E-business provides value chains with a high degree of organizational (outsourcing) and geographic (offshoring) flexibility, allowing firms to purchase intermediate goods and business services on a global scale. The rise of e-business alters the geography of work: information-processing tasks lend themselves to various forms of teleworking, whether at home, on the road, or in a coworking space... E-commerce is a subset of e-business, related to trade of goods and services. E-commerce is often defined as business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), and consumer-to-consumer (C2C). E-marketing is one of the elements in the center of E-business. It helps bring customers near and helps understand them better, increasing the value of an item and enlarging distribution channels using search marketing. The research paper focuses on the study attempted earlier with respect to E marketing and identify advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges.
