Lal Behari Day's collection of folktales from Bengal was the first printed book of folk narratives from the region. His collection has exercised considerable influence on the subsequent compilation of Bengali folktales. The genesis of the book is associated with other similar compilations of Indic oral narratives in the second half of the nineteenth century by the likes of Richard Carnac Temple, William Crooke and Gaborn Henry Damant. Yet, Lal Behari's unique identity as a native Christian preacher had led to unique ambivalences in his collection of tales. The paper deals with Lal Behari's evasions and subversions, and ascertains their association with hegemonic discourses that shaped the colonial rule in Bengal.

India is a land of myth. Myth has included many cultures, communities and the ways of living life. Myths are tales that are told with imaginative thought and reveal the nature of the universe. Indian English literature is filled with stories taken from the Upnishads, the Vedas and the Epics. Myths teach us the way of living, and values related to culture and tradition. Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni is an amazing writer whose writings are based on the ideas of myth, magic, culture and tradition. In her novels she has used myth as a tool to show the truth behind the mythological stories and wants to prove how myth helps the immigrants to solve their problems of life. Tilo, Anju, Sudha, Draupadi are the characters of Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. Through these characters she exposes the sufferings of women and how they face and handle the problems with the help of myth. Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni represents the mythological image of the characters in her novels. By making the female characters powerful, independent and obstinate, she reinvented, rewrote and redefined them. Present article explores the mythological image of women. It also analyses the fact that myths act as a moral instructor who directs human being to live an ideal life. It gives a new interpretation of the voices of women as depicted by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.

The Indian Constitution ensures every citizen of India the right to a secure life. However, the spread of fake news and mis-information through social networks and media can lead to groups violently beating someone in public or killing suspects and defendants without comprehensive information or police or judicial action. This poses a threat to the credibility of the Constitution and our country's unified judicial system is a problem. Most mass lynchings appear to be instigated by mis-information, fake news, and local political, financial, and religious powers. For these reasons, anti-social mobs brutally murdered meat exporters, child thieves, animal dealers, etc. without knowing the actual reason. Lynching is a form of extra Judicial killing by a group or mob of people, carried out independently of civil authorities or law enforcement. India is also facing lynchings via WhatsApp and social media, following a spate of mob-related violence and killings due to the spread of rumours and fake news. These fall under the category of organized hate crimes. It is important to note that India does not have a comprehensive Act of Parliament against mob lynching. Strict legal regulations and prompt convictions in mass lynching cases act as a deterrent to society.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) serves as a pivotal tool in diagnosing brain tumors, enabling non-invasive visualization of pathological tissues. However, the accuracy of tumor classification from MRI scans can be improved by leveraging advanced techniques like Super-Resolution (SR) and deep learning models. This paper presents an innovative approach utilizing ResNet (Residual Networks) in tandem with SR techniques for enhancing the resolution of MRI scans and subsequently classifying brain tumors with high accuracy. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology in achieving superior classification performance compared to traditional methods.

Now a days food adulterant is commonly used in food industry because of excessive production and preservation of food. Melamine is a food adulterant which has several industrial uses. There are various toxicological reports about the health effect of melamine on various organ of experimental and human system. There is a knowledge gap about the toxic effect of melamine on digestive system or duodenal contraction. The objective of our present study was to examine the probable toxic effect of melamine on contraction of duodenum. We used here male albino rat for our experiment for 5% and 10% of LD50 doses of melamine and 28 days treatment duration. We observed from our study that both frequency of contraction and force of contraction duodenum were increased in both the experimental doses compared to the duodenal contraction of control rat. We also observed significant degenerative changes in the cell layers of duodenum. From this results we may concluded that melamine facilitate the duodenal contraction by augmenting the cholinergic neuronal pathway.

According to the California Department of Justice, there were 59,371 juveniles referred to probation in 2019, and the majority of those referrals were for misdemeanor crimes. Teenagers, as well as younger children, will experiment and rebel--sometimes in ways that conflict with the law. Their actions can have drastic consequences on not only their own lives, but their parents' and legal guardians' lives as well. At McCready Law Group, I'm committed to understanding your child's situation, determining how your child's crime may impact you, and providing you both with a strong legal defense. I will explain how your Duty to Exercise Reasonable Care can influence your outcome, as well as how the relevant California laws affect your case. I'm committed to offering experienced legal guidance and vigorous representation to all of my clients. My firm is proud to serve individuals in Long Beach, Cypress Hill, and Lakewood, California, as well as nearby communities. When a child engages in willful misconduct or intentional acts, the parent can be held to account. Vicarious liability means holding a more responsible person responsible for another's acts. Children cannot take responsibility for their own actions, so their parents must assume liability. Parents have moral and legal responsibilities towards their child. If they set a bad example to their children, they will definitely follow in their steps. In other words, they are the primary teachers and discipliners of their children. Most states have parental responsibility laws that kick in when a child is born and end when a child turns 18 years old. A few states limit liability to children above a certain age (for example, 10 or 11) or extend responsibility up to the age of 21 years old. Parents can be held responsible for the harm their minor children cause, but not in every situation. Sometimes children can be taken to court too. Simply warning a child about a possible danger is not always enough. Judges put a lot of emphasis on parents' ability to predict their child's actions. Some judges find that parents who ignore their child's bad behaviour are responsible. They think these parents should have made an extra effort to warn their children and take precautions. Criminal law, unlike civil law, is less likely to hold defendants liable for the actions of a third party, even if that third party is the defendant's child. This is because in criminal law defendants face incarceration and the associated stigma that comes with a conviction. Both Crumbley parents have pleaded not guilty to four counts each of involuntary manslaughter. If convicted on all counts, they each face a maximum prison sentence of 60 years and maximum fines of US$30,000. Unable to make the combined $1 million bond, they appeared before a judge on Dec. 3, 2021, in prison uniforms and chains. In the rare instances that parents of school shooters are prosecuted, they are normally charged with crimes such as child abuse, child neglect and failure to properly secure a firearm. The charge lodged against the Crumbleys, involuntary manslaughter, also known as gross negligent homicide, is even more uncommon. But it's not without precedent.
