 Abstract

Digital transformation in libraries has led to the widespread adoption of electronic resources (e-resources) as essential tools for academic research and learning. This study explores the usage patterns and challenges associated with e-resource adoption in academic libraries. Through content analysis, the study highlights how various library users; including students, faculty, and researchers, primarily engage with e-resources for research, assignments, and literature reviews, often accessing them from home or work due to time constraints. Despite the increased usage, several barriers to effective utilization persist, including limited access to specialized e-resources, poor internet connectivity, lack of digital literacy, and complicated navigation of digital platforms. The study also emphasizes the importance of training programs and support services in addressing these challenges, as well as the need for libraries to invest in more user-friendly interfaces and comprehensive e-resource subscriptions. The findings suggest that enhancing internet infrastructure, expanding training initiatives, and adopting targeted marketing strategies could significantly improve the access and utilization of e-resources, ultimately fostering a more digitally inclusive academic environment.

 Abstract

Clinical trials are research studies conducted to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of new drugs. These trials are typically preceded by pre-clinical studies, which assess a drug's safety profile and potential side effects. While pre-clinical trials focus on the initial safety evaluation, clinical trials aim to determine whether a new treatment is more effective than existing therapies. Clinical trials are carried out in several phases: Phase 0, Phase 1. Phase 2, Phase 3, and Phase 4. Phase 0 is designed to accelerate the drug approval process by providing preliminary data on how the drug behaves in the body. Phase 1 trials primarily focus on determining the appropriate dosage and identifying potential side effects. In Phase 2, researchers assess the drug's safety and effectiveness for a specific condition or disease.. Phase 3 trials compare the new treatment to standard treatments, evaluating its overall safety and efficacy on a larger scale. Lastly, Phase 4 trials, conducted after the drug has been approved, aim to monitor its performance in real-world scenarios. These post-approval studies further assess the drug's long-term effects and ensure its continued safety and effectiveness for the approved indication.

 Abstract

In this study, propose a comprehensive approach for the classification of lung diseases leveraging deep learning techniques. The research focuses on two main aspects: analysis of structured data using the Random Forest algorithm and detection of lung abnormalities in medical images employing the InceptionV3 architecture. For structured data analysis, we utilized the Random Forest algorithm to classify lung diseases based on clinical data. Features such as patient demographics, symptoms, and medical history were extracted and used to train the model. The Random Forest algorithm demonstrated promising results in accurately classifying various lung diseases, providing valuable insights into the relationships between different variables and disease outcomes. In parallel, we explored the detection of lung abnormalities in medical images using the InceptionV3 deep learning model. This convolutional neural network was trained on a large dataset of lung images to automatically identify patterns indicative of different diseases such as pneumonia, lung cancer, and pulmonary fibrosis. The InceptionV3 model exhibited high accuracy in detecting abnormalities, showcasing its potential as a powerful tool for assisting radiologists in early diagnosis and treatment planning. Through our comparative analysis, we evaluate the performance of both approaches in classifying lung diseases. We discuss the strengths and limitations of each method and highlight opportunities for future research. Ultimately, our study contributes to the advancement of automated diagnostic systems for lung diseases, offering clinicians and researchers valuable tools for improving patient care and outcomes.  Abstract

The demand for renewable energy sources has increased due to growing concerns over climate change and the depletion of fossil fuels. Solar energy, as one of the most abundant and clean sources of energy, plays a vital role in addressing this issue. One of the challenges associated with solar panels is their fixed orientation, which results in inefficient energy capture due to the sun's changing position throughout the day. This research focuses on the development of a non-electrical rotating solar panel system driven by a clock-driven mechanism. The primary goal of this project is to design a system that autonomously adjusts the position of solar panels to maximize energy absorption without relying on electrical components, thus reducing costs and energy consumption.

 Abstract

Malaria is a mosquito-borne infectious disease that affects humans and other vertebrates. Human malaria causes symptoms that typically include fever, fatigue, vomiting, and headaches. In severe cases, it can cause jaundice, seizures, coma, or death. Symptoms usually begin 10 to 15 days after being bitten by an infected Anopheles mosquito. If not properly treated, people may have recurrences of the disease months later. In those who have recently survived an infection, This partial resistance disappears over months to years if the person has no continuing exposure to malaria. Human malaria is caused by single-celled microorganisms of the Plasmodium group. It is spread exclusively through bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. The mosquito bite introduces the parasites from the mosquito's saliva into a person's blood. The parasites travel to the liver where they mature and reproduce.Five species of Plasmodium commonly infect humansThe three species associated with more severe cases are P. falciparum P. vivax, and P. knowlesi P. ovale and P. malariae generally cause a milder form of malaria. Malaria is typically diagnosed by the microscopic examination of blood using blood films, or with antigen-based rapid diagnostic tests.

 Abstract

These days, time is more valuable than money, and a lot of the construction approaches we use also have long construction timelines. The rapid way of erection of steel structural structures has made them a revolution in the modern era of construction. It is best to base your building type decision on the right conditions and functional needs in order to have a wise and efficient structure design. The study titled "Comparative study on design of Steel Structures and RCC frame Structures of flat slab system based on columns span" can assist us in selecting the construction method that best fits the given circumstances and architecture. The main goal of this study is focused on the crucial element, or column span, which can be just as important in determining a building's cost as its height when it comes to structural analysis and design. The design and analysis of steel structures with long and short column spans, as well as RCC structures with flat slab systems, are compared in this article. In this project, ETABS-2021 software is used for the design and analysis of the G + 10 RCC Structure of the flat slab system and the steel structure.

 Abstract

With the rise of sophisticated cyberattacks, organizational structures worldwide are changing to a total focus on cybersecurity. Two of the most significant methods for identifying vulnerabilities before malevolent forces can exploit them include ethical hacking and penetration testing. In the past two years, AI and ML have dramatically changed the face of penetration testing: automation makes difficult tasks simpler, previously hidden patterns become discoverable, and overall, it boosts efficiency. This research paper surveys the use of AI and ML within ethical hacking, particularly focusing on penetration testing. We consider the range of applications and tools as well as the range of challenges and the related ethical dilemmas that would arise from using these technologies.

 Abstract

Migraine continues to rank as the second leading cause of disability globally. Diagnosing migraine largely relies on a patient's medical history, though physical exams may sometimes be used to exclude other potential conditions. Migraines are generally categorized by whether or not they are accompanied by aura, and the number of headache days per month helps to differentiate between episodic and chronic migraine. Effective management often involves both acute treatments to address immediate symptoms and preventive therapies to reduce the frequency of future episodes. This review draws on recent data to offer a thorough understanding of migraine..

 Abstract

This study investigates the potential improvements offered by a passive triple spring damper suspension system as a replacement for the traditional dual spring damper mechanism in the rear wheel of motorcycles. The research aims to enhance rider safety and comfort by analyzing the performance of this innovative suspension configuration using a four-degree-of-freedom (4DOF) numerical model. By simulating the behavior of dual and triple spring systems under standard road disturbances, such as bumps and dips, the study evaluates key suspension characteristics, including comfort, road-holding, and stability. Results indicate that the triple spring system significantly reduces peak accelerations and displacements at the motorcycle's centroid while improving rear tire road-holding capabilities. Furthermore, the addition of a medium stiffness spring facilitates a smoother transition between soft and hard spring states, leading to enhanced suspension performance. The findings underscore the potential of triple spring configurations to improve the safety and user experience of motorcycles, contributing valuable insights to the field of motorcycle dynamics and suspension design.

 Abstract

This reseach focused on the formulation and evaluation of mouth dissolving film containing extracts of ocimum tenuiflorum and glycyrrhiza glabra. The ocimum tenuiflorum is commonly known as Holy, basil, tulsi or tulasi. The fixed oil of Tulsi have considerable antiulcer action. The glycyrrhiza glabra commonly known as liquorice. Licorice root extract has healing property and it is used to treat mouth ulcer. The different polymers has different drug release effect in the mouth dissolving film. Mouth dissolving fim can treat the different types mouth ulcers like canker sores, leukoplakia. These films are prepared by solvent casting method. These films have several advantages over normal conventional dosage forms. They deliver the drug at target site so dose frequency is reduced, it avoids the hepatic first pass metabolism and due to this the bioavailability is enhanced. These films are evaluated for it's thickness, morphological properties, folding endurance, surface PH, Disintegration time, stability studies.

 Abstract

Abstract This paper examines the poetic oeuvre of Imtiaz Dharker through the lens of diaspora, focusing on themes of borders and belonging that permeate her work. Dharker's poetry engages deeply with the fluidity of identity, exploring the tension between cultural heritage and personal autonomy. By dissecting her nuanced portrayal of physical and metaphorical borders--geographic, linguistic, and emotional--this study highlights her ability to navigate the complexities of diasporic existence. Through close readings of selected poems, the paper investigates how Dharker redefines concepts of home and belonging, often subverting traditional notions of rootedness. Her work becomes a space where multiple identities coexist, reflecting her transnational life experiences. Additionally, the paper explores how Dharker's poetic voice resists singular definitions, embodying a multifaceted diasporic perspective that bridges gaps between East and West, tradition and modernity. Ultimately, this study situates Dharker within the broader discourse of diasporic literature, emphasizing how her work challenges fixed boundaries and celebrates hybridity. Her poetry not only articulates the dissonance of displacement but also envisions new forms of belonging, making her a vital voice in contemporary global literature.

 Abstract

Nerve pain is a significant health issue in India, primarily driven by conditions like diabetes, infections, trauma, and cancer. Despite its high prevalence, diagnosing and managing neuropathic pain remains challenging due to under recognition, limited resources, and cultural factors. The S-LANSS Pain Score (Self-Reported Leeds Assessment of Neuropathic Symptoms and Signs) is a simple, cost-effective, and reliable tool for identifying and assessing neuropathic pain. This article reviews the burden of neuropathic pain in India, the challenges in diagnosis, and the utility of the S-LANSS Pain Score in clinical practice, highlighting its potential to improve early diagnosis and treatment outcomes.

 Abstract

As we know every two in five persons suffer from Kadara once in their lifetime and people do not consider this seriously until and unless it starts abruption their daily activities and then reach a doctor when it needs to be seriously considered with the provoked signs and symptoms.[1] Acharya Sushruta describes Kadara under Kshudra roga and its ayurvedic approach of Ksharakarma, Agnikarma, Shastra karma,Lepana karma.[2] Amongst which Agnikarma is the most practiced karma amongst all the karmas due to its less chances to recur.[3] Aim: To evaluate the effect of Tamra Shalaka Agnikarma in the management of Kadara. Material & Method: 30 subject's data was recorded in the case report form with complete history, examination and necessary assessment was done. Afterwards the subjects of Kadara were treated with Tamra Shalaka Agnikarma followed by proper post operative care and regular follow ups of the patients were done until the signs of healthy granulation was observed. Results: The results typically involve the removal of the corn, relieving pain, swelling, tenderness, discharge and discomfort associated with it. The area was initially tender or sore after the procedure, but with proper post-operative instructions care of the patients were taken and follow ups to ensure proper healing and prevent the recurrence of corn over time. Interpretation and Conclusion: From all the available treatment modalities of Kadara, it is clear that it may not have a complete cure, as a chance of recurrence may be there. Comparing all treatment procedures, Agnikarma can be considered the most appropriate management of Kadara (corn). It has a significant result, and the chance of recurrence is significantly lower.
