On this green planet, there are uncountable plants that are considered wild/ weed/ unwanted due to lack of obvious economical value. However, these plants have adapted well to harsh conditions and thrive very well without any special attention. But, every organism created by Mother Nature has its value. Nothing is useless. Hence, these herbaceous weeds also have something valuable in their genomic constitution but they need sharp eyes and great passion to be explored scientifically in sustainable manner. In past many of the plants that were considered useless are now proven very important in terms of their phytochemicals. The wild herbs / shrubs and trees actually are the great reservoirs of novel phytochemicals and hence one aspect of biodiversity research is to conserve these precious gene pools before they become extinct. Argemone Mexicana is native to Mexico and presently prevalent yearly weed of family Papaveraceae, mainly connected with farming corps and harsh environments. It is a chief weed for numerous cash to crops in the tropical, sub-tropical and humid temperature parts of the world. The Vernacular names of this plant are Mexican prickly poppy, flowering thistly, cardo / cardosantro, etc. In India this plant is variously known as agara / bharband/ bharbhar/ brahamandandi etc. This exacting plant species is considered as a risk to healthiness. If taken with contaminated food because is causes intense itchiness, is an annoyance to the farmers.

The aim of present study is to prepare bilayer tablets of Losartan Potassium with an immediate release and a controlled release layer. The immediate layer was prepared using super disintegrant sodium starch glycolate and controlled release layer is formulated with polymer guar-gum and HPMC K15M, individually in different concentrations and in combinations. The values of pre-compression parameters evaluated were within prescribed limits. Post compression parameters such as hardness were found to be 5.46 to 7.21 kg/cm2 sufficient enough to withstand the mechanical stress condition while handling. In all the formulations, the friability value is less 1% and meets the Indian Pharmacopoeial limits. The percentage drug content of all the tablets was found to be almost are nearer to 100%, swelling index of matrix tablets were directly proportional to the concentration of the polymer.

Tribal societies, especially tribal women are the most affected groups in the rapidly changing India. Talking about Climate change, it has a severe impact on Tribal people due to their close connection with mother earth and nature as their livelihoods are highly dependent on forests and tribal valued resources. This article examines the climate impacts along with the reasons and the resulting effects on tribal women and their resources. It is a high time to incorporate tribal peoples views and perspectives particularly that of tribal women in the policy and decision-making process, which will be helpful in tackling global warming and the extreme weather conditions. The article will also talk about tribal women adaptive strategies to climate change and look into the various prospects for strengthening the Government and tribal relationship to address the same. The methodology adopted is purely doctrinal in nature and it is mainly based on the newspaper articles, journals, and other e- resources, and lastly it contains some of my personal thoughts.
