 Abstract

The paper summarises the issues and challenges of Informal Employment in India. The informal sector is considered to be a vital sector of the Indian Economy. The works of the informal one are excluded in the GDP and GNP of India. Thus, India being one of the developing countries, the informal employment accounts for the majority of employment, however, it is not considered much , in comparison to the formal sector. It also gives out the definition of employment in the Informal Sector as per the International Labour Organisation(ILO) and is an assemblage of employment in micro, small and medium enterprises, casual, self-employed and rural workers, impact of economic reforms on informal employment in India, rural and urban informal employment and labour migration and employment conditions of Indians working as informal workers abroad. An effort has been made to highlight the difficulties of the informal and unorganized economy in the country through various diameters such as work deficit, labour market distress and poverty. The various measures by Government such as Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana(PMMY) and Government Policy regarding informal enterprises and informal labour in India have been highlighted in the paper,to the best extent possible.

 Abstract

Concrete has the largest volume in present construction work and it is expected that there will be no other option for concrete in the upcoming time. Since such as excessive volumes of concrete are being used for newly construction work, it is autocratic to produce better quality of concrete that will be long lasting with increase mechanical properties to enhance the service life of any structure. It is not feasible to alter its inherent breakable essence and the need of any tensile strength of concrete structure. In this condition, fibre reinforced concrete (FRC) look to be a realistic alternative. In this research study main focus on the practicability of using polypropylene fiber (pp) and polyester fiber as subordinate reinforcement to concrete to change its brittle nature. In this study M25 grade of concrete was used. Accordingly, various percentages of polypropylene fiber and polyester fiber were put into concrete and a sequence of lab experiments were control to explore the use of polypropylene fiber and polyester in cement concrete pavements. In first sample only plain, concrete mix is tested for compressive strength, flexural strength. In second sample 1.8% of polypropylene fiber is added with the concrete mix and again tested for the same three test. In the third concrete sample 0.5% of polyester fiber is used in the concrete mix and tested for compressive strength, flexural strength and split tensile strength of cement concrete. In fourth concrete sample both 1.8% of polypropylene fiber and 0.5% of polyester fiber is mixed with the concrete mix and tested for the three tests It was seen a great increment in the compressive strength, and flexural strength which showed the addition of fiber can improve the quality of cement concrete pavement.

 Abstract

Data complexity is a major consideration when scaling the data. Integration of heterogeneous data sets helps solve big data difficulties. Large-scale databases are difficult to comprehend and analyze since they require a lot of processing and storage space. With the rapid growth of data, extracting it in a fashion that the human mind can understand is becoming increasingly difficult. An introduction of Big Data research issues and triumphs, as well as the methodology and tools used to visualize it, will be discussed in this session. As a result, the primary purpose of this work is to summarize and provide novel solutions for the present state-of-the-art in Big Data visualization. Data types, analytical methodologies, and visualization techniques and tools are categorized in this study, with a special focus on the evolution of visualization methods over the last few years. The findings of the study show that there is still a disparity between the two groups. With regard to data visualization, the tools and applications we tested didn't have much support for advanced techniques like radial or temporal data display. Professional data analysts are eager to learn and use new tools and approaches, according to interviews. Exploratory analytic approaches are of particular relevance to users, as they can assist in their workflow.

 Abstract

The usage of smartphone made possible for many real-time applications such as mobile crowdsourcing, by which the task owner can crowdsource the data from the smartphone users. There are many challenging problems such as data aggregation, data analysis and data collection faced by the resource constrained requester, when the data volume is extremely large i.e., Big Data (BD). The process of filtering redundant data and preprocessing raw data from the Big Data Analysis (BDA) by using set operations such as union, complementation and intersection. The most promising way for solving the BDA issues is the cloud-assisted approaches in terms of limited number of resources like computation and storage resources. If the privacy of the smartphone user's sensing data and identity are preserved well, the users will be ready to participate in the untrusted cloud. But due to the security issues faced by the cloud, the smartphone users are not willing to share their private data with the task owner. This review paper evaluates the researches done on the BDA and also auditing the major issues face by several techniques. The researchers can give the better solution for the current problems faced by using this procedure in the BDA

 Abstract

This paper presents Particle swarm Optimization (PSO) solution to the Unit Commitment problem in comparison with standard Dynamic Programming (DP). The objective of Unit Commitment is to determine the optimal schedule of generating units subjected to all the constraints. PSO method uses particle information to control the mutation operation and is similar to the social society in that a group of leads to make better decision. By using PSO we try to reduce total operating cost in comparison with DP. The simulation of UC with PSO in comparison with DP on a standard IEEE39 bus system with 10 units is done by using Matlab.

 Abstract

Sustainability practices are very important for organizational growth and survival in the global market. This study helps to find out the application of sustainability practices used by different small and medium sized enterprises in the Mumbai region. This study also tries to find out the use of sustainability practices in environmental, economic and social sustainability. All Multi national companies use sustainability practices as major tool to improve performance and remain competitive in global market by reducing their risk. Many multi national companies requires that small and medium sized enterprises(SMEs) also use sustainability which provides sub assemblies to them. Many SMEs used sustainability practices due to pressure for customers. Customers are now more responsible regarding sustainability and they are also ready to pay more for sustainable products. Many SMEs resist implementing sustainability practices because they think that these sustainability practices increase the overall cost of production which reduces profits and made difficult for them to survive in global competition. Sustainability practices are proved very beneficial for multi-national or large organizations for improvement in environmental, economic, and social sustainability. it is important to study that whether these sustainability practices are beneficial to SMEs.The researcher tries to find out the answer to this important question through this study.

 Abstract

The ways of knowing about nature and environment in traditional knowledge system and science are fundamentally different as are the depth range and scope of knowledge. One of the greatest challenge of this century will be integrating the reductionist framework of science with the holistic framework of traditional knowledge system in order to see the whole in the past and past in the whole. Human beings and environment are recursively links and shapes these entities defining the foundational and dynamic unity between observes and observed. The final outcome in health or disease. What is missing in healthcare today and what can be done with a minimum of resource that would have the most benefit? Ayurveda can help fill the gap by educating and empowering people to look after themselves. Much of Ayurveda is ideally suited to this purpose in fact.

 Abstract

Botany is the scientific study of plants, including how they operate, how they look, how they are connected to one another, where they grow, how people utilise plants, and how plants developed. Botany, often known as plant science, plant biology, or phytology, is a discipline of biology that studies plants. A botanist, plant scientist, or phytologist is a specialist in this subject of science. Botany is derived from the Ancient Greek word botan, which means "pasture," "herbs," "grass," or "fodder"; it is derived from boskein, which means "to feed" or "to graze." Mycologists and phycologists, respectively, have traditionally studied fungi and algae as part of botany, with the study of these three types of organisms continuing within the scope of the International Botanical Congress. Botanists are now studying roughly 410,000 species of land plants, of which 391,000 are vascular plants and 20,000 are bryophytes.
