Criminality in colonial India was perceived through an interesting perception of imperial administration; and the British regulations had a skewed understanding of it. When the British amplified their understanding of Indian living and its caste attributes; it somehow intertwined with their views of criminality. Caste, having its basis in generational- occupations, became central to this notion. Soon, it was established through various administrative recommendations that criminality must be hereditary as well; and efforts were initiated to deal with it accordingly. Criminal Tribes Act (1871) was an outcome of this thought. Various communities- those having indigenous origins and those that possessed divergent ways of life in the eyes of British- Indian administration, were declared criminals by the virtue of their birth. This brought geographical, legal, socio- economic and socio- cultural repercussions for them. The stigma of criminality ensured that they remained at the receiving end of various atrocities; which is still relevant to these communities, much after the repeal of Criminal Tribes Act in 1949. This theoretical paper discusses the historical and sociological framework behind Criminal Tribes Act; and its lingering impact on present day Denotified Tribes; named after the denotification from their criminal status.

The Kingdom of Cambodia has embraced Buddhism since the mission of Asoka in the 3rd century BCE. Buddhism has long been a vital source of spiritual, educational, moral, and cultural values in Cambodia. Cambodia's Buddhist heritage is revealed in its architecture and inscriptions, which are essential for understanding the ancient history of Cambodia from interpretations and evidence. Literary sources offer insights into the culture of Cambodian Buddhism, including relevant records and inscriptions found both in Cambodia and abroad. Numerous inscriptions and literary sources have been interpreted and published since the 19th century to elucidate Cambodia's historical connection to Buddhism. The cultural heritage of Buddhism holds great importance in the modern lives of Cambodians, especially regarding the architecture, art, and sculptures of Buddhist monasteries and monuments over the centuries. Buddhist cultural heritage significantly contributes to tourism in Cambodia. Inscriptions and archaeological evidence revealed Buddhism's existence in the Southeast Asian region.

Pahari art emerged during the 17th century and continued to flourish until the 19th century, primarily under the patronage of the Rajput courts. The picturesque landscape of the Western Himalayas served as an inspiring backdrop for artists, who drew on both local and Mughal influences. Pahari paintings are not merely decorative; they convey complex narratives steeped in mythology, religion, and the intimate lives of their subjects. Pahari art is unique in its refined portrayal of human beauty, emotion, and divine relationships, especially love. Pahari paintings employ fine lines, delicate brushwork, and harmonious colour palettes to portray human emotions and feminine beauty with grace and sophistication. The present article delves into the concept of rasas and bhavas as given in Indian scriptures and the methodology followed by Pahari artists in expressing bhavas (emotions) and rasas (expressions) by the artistic fusion of colours and linework as crucial elements of in Pahari art and highlighting the differences between different Pahari schools in the expression of Rasas and Bhavas.

Abstract In today's age, which claims to have achieved immeasurable scientific development, researches are traveling to the alien world in search of water. Today's methods of living are useless as a paradoxical search for air-poured water. But the ancient Tamils, who had superior sophisticated knowledge, used to see the naturally occurring rainwater stagnate in the depressions and not produce any rainfall.Knowing the ability used throughout the ages, artificially creating small pits and using the water as an extension of the management thinking, this article examines the manner in which the well has evolved and the current state of the wells through Sangam literature.

In order to handle both techno-economic and environmental factors, this study presents an innovative energy management algorithm for a hybrid solar and fuel cell-based electric vehicle charging station (EVCS). In order to optimize real-time charging prices and improve renewable energy consumption, the current approach, which is intended for a 20- kW EVCS, makes use of a fuzzy inference system within MATLAB SIMULINK to manage power generation, electric vehicle (EV) power demand, and charging periods. Nevertheless, production instability could be a problem for this strategy. By replacing the fuzzy controller with an artificial neural network (ANN) controller, the suggested approach resolves this problem. Findings show that, in comparison to current flat rate tariffs, the ANN-based algorithm not only offers more steady outputs but also lowers energy costs, making it more affordable to charge for both weekdays and weekends. Furthermore, integrating renewable energy sources with hybrid technology greatly reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Due to the charging station owners' comparatively short payback periods, the idea is both environmentally friendly and financially feasible.

Toni Morrison is a part of a long black and American literary tradition. Her novels are multi voiced and multi layered. She takes the novel home to the intimate address of the rural and urban African and American tradition. Her characters are seldom in powerful and social positions. They commend their desire in an outlawed agency that puts into crisis the law of the land. She herself played an active role in promoting black voices. 'Beloved' is a magnificent novel in which a slave's interior life is re-created with a moving intensity. The novel explores the physical, emotional, and spiritual devastation constructed by slavery, a devastation that continues to appear in those characters who are former slaves even in freedom.

Stress is defined as the physical and mental response produced by the body when exposed to demanding or challenging circumstances. It can result from going through a change, worrying about an upcoming event, or other factors. Stress is a fact of life, wherever we are and whatever we are doing, we cannot avoid stress, but we can learn to manage it. Stress management means to reduce the negative impacts caused by stress and to improve a person's physical and mental well-being. Stress is an inevitable part of modern education systems, affecting both students and teachers. While students face academic pressures, exams, and social challenges, teachers grapple with workload, administrative demands, and student behaviour management. Although research shows that a moderate amount of stress can be beneficial and act as a motivator for students to do well, too much stress can impact their overall well-being. So, that 70% of students report that depression and anxiety are a major problem in their school community. Chronic stress can also lead to poor academic achievement, increase the likelihood of dropping out of school, and diminish motivation. Therefore, both students and educators need to recognise what the triggers are and what they can do to better manage everyday stress. This article explains that what factors can cause stress and what is the effective way to deal with the stressors they encounter throughout life.

This research paper examines the impact of social media addiction on students' learning capacity, with a particular focus on how digital distractions influence academic performance. Given the growing role of social media in students' lives, understanding its potential to disrupt learning is crucial. The study investigates the relationship between social media use and academic outcomes by analyzing usage patterns, time management strategies, and perceptions of distraction among students. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research surveyed 30 students and conducted interviews with 10 high social media users. The findings reveal a unanimous acknowledgment (100%) among respondents of the negative impact of social media on their academic achievements. Key results highlight that social media frequently distracts students from their studies, hinders their ability to engage in deep learning, and diverts attention during academic tasks. The study emphasizes the necessity for educational interventions to enhance time management, digital literacy, and healthy social media habits. Recommendations include implementing workshops on time management, integrating digital literacy programs, and promoting balanced social media use to mitigate its adverse effects on academic performance. The research underscores the critical intersection of technology and education and calls for further investigation to develop effective strategies addressing social media's impact on student learning.

A research program is conducted to evaluate the mechanical properties of Ultra-High-Performance Concrete, with target compressive strength at the age of 28 days being more than 150 MPa. The methodology to develop such a mix has been explained. The material properties, mix design and curing regime are determined. The material attributes are understood by studying the stress-strain behaviour of UHPC cylinders under uniaxial compressive loading. The load-crack mouth opening displacement (mod) of UHPC beams, flexural strength and fracture energy were evaluated using the third point loading test. Compressive strength and split tensile strength results are determined to find out the compressive and tensile behaviour. Residual strength parameters are presented vividly explaining the flexural performance and toughness of concrete. Durability studies were also done to compare the effect of fiber to that of a control mix For all the studies the Mechanical properties were evaluated by varying the percentage and aspect ratio of steel fibers The results reflected that higher aspect ratio and fiber volume produced drastic changes in the cube strength, cylinder strength, post-peak response, load-mod, fracture energy flexural strength, split tensile strength, residual strength and durability. Regarding the null application of UHPC in India, an initiative is undertaken to comprehend the mechanical behavior of UHPC, which will be vital in the longer run in the commercialization of structural applications
